ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 9

1 ૧ મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે; રાગ મુથ-લાબ્બેન. દાઉદનું ગીત. હું મારા સંપૂર્ણ હૃદયથી યહોવાહની આભારસ્તુતિ કરીશ; હું તમારાં સર્વ આશ્ચર્યકારક કૃત્યો જાહેર કરીશ.

I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works.

2 ૨ હું તમારામાં આનંદ પામીશ તથા ઉલ્લાસ કરીશ; હે પરાત્પર ઈશ્વર, હું તમારા નામનું સ્તોત્ર ગાઈશ.

I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing zahmar ·musical praise· to your name, O Most High.

3 ૩ જ્યારે મારા શત્રુઓ પાછા ફરે છે, ત્યારે તમારી આગળ તેઓ ઠોકર ખાઈને નાશ પામે છે.

When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish in your presence.

4 ૪ કેમ કે તમે મારો હક તથા દાવો સિદ્ધ કર્યો છે; ન્યાયાસન પર બેસીને તમે સાચો ન્યાય કર્યો છે.

For you have maintained my mishpat ·just· cause. You sit on the throne judging righteously.

5 ૫ તમે વિદેશીઓને ધમકાવ્યા છે, તમે દુષ્ટોનો નાશ કર્યો છે; તમે તેઓનું નામ સદાને માટે ભૂંસી નાખ્યું છે.

You have rebuked the nations. You have destroyed the wicked. You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

6 ૬ શત્રુઓનો ખંડેરોની જેમ અંત આવશે તેઓ હંમેશને માટે નાશ પામ્યા છે. જે નગરો તમે પાયમાલ કર્યાં છે, તેમનું સ્મરણ પણ રહ્યું નથી.

The enemy is overtaken by endless ruin. The very memory of the cities which you have overthrown has perished.

7 ૭ પણ યહોવાહ સદાકાળ રાજ કરશે; તેમણે ન્યાય કરવાને માટે પોતાનું આસન તૈયાર કર્યું છે.

But Adonai reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment.

8 ૮ તે ન્યાયીપણાથી જગતનો ન્યાય કરશે. તે લોકોનો અદલ ઇનસાફ કરશે.

He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness.

9 ૯ વળી યહોવાહ હેરાન થયેલા લોકોને કિલ્લારૂપ થશે, તે સર્વ સંકટસમયે ગઢ થશે.

Adonai will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble.

10 ૧૦ જેઓ તમારું નામ જાણે છે, તેઓ તમારા પર ભરોસો રાખશે, કારણ કે, હે યહોવાહ, તમે તમારા શોધનારને તરછોડ્યા નથી.

Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Adonai, have not forsaken those who seek you.

11 ૧૧ સિયોનના અધિકારી યહોવાહનાં સ્તુતિગાન ગાઓ; લોકોમાં તેમનાં કૃત્યો જાહેર કરો.

Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to Adonai, who dwells in Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], and declare among the people what he has done.

12 ૧૨ કેમ કે લોહીનો બદલો માગનાર ગરીબોનું સ્મરણ રાખે છે; તે તેમની અરજ ભૂલી જતા નથી.

For he who avenges blood remembers them. He does not forget the cry of the afflicted.

13 ૧૩ હે યહોવાહ, મારા પર દયા કરો; મોતના દ્વારથી મને ઉઠાડનાર, મારો દ્વ્રેષ કરનાર મને દુ: ખ દે છે, તે તમે જુઓ.

Have mercy on me, Adonai. See my affliction by those who hate me, and lift me up from the gates of death;

14 ૧૪ સિયોનની દીકરીના દરવાજાઓમાં હું તમારાં પૂરેપૂરાં વખાણ કરું હું તમારા ઉદ્ધારમાં હર્ષ પામીશ.

that I may show all of your tehilah ·praise song·. In the gates of the daughter of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], I will rejoice in your yishu'ah ·salvation·.

15 ૧૫ પોતે ખોદેલા ખાડામાં વિદેશીઓ પડ્યા છે; પોતે સંતાડી રાખેલા જાળમાં તેઓના પોતાના પગ સપડાયા છે.

The nations have sunk down in the pit that they made. In the net which they hid, their own foot is taken.

16 ૧૬ યહોવાહે પોતે પોતાની ઓળખાણ આપી છે; તેમણે ન્યાય કર્યો છે; દુષ્ટો પોતાના હાથના કામમાં પોતે ફસાઈ ગયા છે. (સેલાહ)

Adonai has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Higgayon (Meditation, Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.

17 ૧૭ દુષ્ટો, એટલે ઈશ્વરને ભૂલનાર સર્વ લોકો શેઓલમાં જશે. (Sheol h7585)

The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol ·Place of the dead·, even all the nations that forget God. (Sheol h7585)

18 ૧૮ કેમ કે દરિદ્રીને હંમેશા ભૂલી જવામાં આવશે નહિ, ગરીબોની આશા હંમેશ માટે નિષ્ફળ જશે નહિ.

For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever.

19 ૧૯ હે યહોવાહ, ઊઠો; માણસને અમારા પર વિજયી ન થવા દો; તમારી સમક્ષ રાષ્ટ્રોનો ન્યાય થાય.

Arise, Adonai! Don’t let man prevail. Let the nations be judged in your sight.

20 ૨૦ હે યહોવાહ, તેઓને ભયભીત કરો; જેથી રાષ્ટ્રો જાણે કે તેઓ માણસો જ છે. (સેલાહ)

Put them in fear, Adonai. Let the nations know that they are only men. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
