ગણના 15

1 ૧ પછી યહોવાહ મૂસા સાથે બોલ્યા. તેમણે કહ્યું,

Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,

2 ૨ ઇઝરાયલી લોકોને કહે કે, તમારા વસવાટ માટેનો જે દેશ યહોવાહ તમને આપે છે તેમાં જયારે તમે પ્રવેશો ત્યારે,

“Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,

3 ૩ અને જ્યારે તમે અર્પણ માટે ઐચ્છિકાર્પણ તરીકે તમારા નક્કી કરેલા પર્વોમાં યહોવાહને સારુ સુવાસને અર્થે ઘેટાંબકરાંનો કે અન્ય જાનવરોના હોમયજ્ઞ તથા દહનીયાર્પણ અથવા યજ્ઞ ચઢાવો.

and will make an offering by fire to Adonai, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a free will offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Adonai, of the herd, or of the flock;

4 ૪ ત્યારે પોતાનું અર્પણ કરતી વખતે અર્પણ ચઢાવનારે એની સાથે પા હિન ચોથા ભાગના તેલથી મોહેલા એક દશાંશ એફાહ મેંદાનું ખાદ્યાર્પણ યહોવાહને અર્પણ કરવું.

then he who offers his offering shall offer to Adonai a meal offering of one tenth of an ephah [an omer; 2.3 q; 2.2 L] of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.2 L] of oil.

5 ૫ અને દરેક હલવાનને સારુ દહનીયાર્પણ સાથે કે યજ્ઞ સાથે પા હિન દ્રાક્ષારસનું પેયાર્પણ તું તૈયાર કર.

You shall prepare wine for the drink offering, the fourth part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.2 L], with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

6 ૬ જો તું ઘેટાંનું અર્પણ ચઢાવે તો, એક તૃતીયાંશ હિન તેલથી મોહેલા બે દશાંશ એફાહ મેંદાનું ખાદ્યાપર્ણ તૈયાર કર.

“‘Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a meal offering one tenth of an ephah [two omers; 4.6 q; 4.4 L] of fine flour mixed with the third part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.24 L] of oil;

7 ૭ અને એક તૃતીયાંશ હિન દ્રાક્ષારસનું સુવાસિત પેયાર્પણ યહોવાહને ચઢાવ.

and for the drink offering you shall offer the third part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.24 L] of wine, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai.

8 ૮ અને જ્યારે તું દહનીયાર્પણ કે પ્રતિજ્ઞા પૂર્ણ કરવાના યજ્ઞને માટે અથવા યહોવાહને માટે શાંત્યર્પણોને સારુ બળદ તૈયાર કરે,

When you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings to Adonai;

9 ૯ ત્યારે તે બળદ સાથે અડધા હિન તેલથી મોહેલા ત્રણ દશાંશ એફાહ મેંદાનું ખાદ્યાર્પણ ચઢાવે.

then shall he offer with the bull a meal offering of three tenths of an ephah [three omers; 6.9 q; 6.6 L] of fine flour mixed with half a hin [5.2 qt; 2.4 L] of oil:

10 ૧૦ અને યહોવાહને માટે સુવાસિત પેયાર્પણ તરીકે અર્ધો હિન દ્રાક્ષારસ હોમયજ્ઞ તરીકે ચઢાવ.

and you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin [5.2 qt; 2.4 L] of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai.

11 ૧૧ પ્રત્યેક બળદ વિષે, કે પ્રત્યેક ઘેટા વિષે કે પ્રત્યેક નર હલવાન વિષે, કે પ્રત્યેક બકરીના બચ્ચા વિષે આ પ્રમાણે કરવું.

Thus shall it be done for each bull, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the young goats.

12 ૧૨ પ્રત્યેક બલિદાન જે તું તૈયાર કરી અને અર્પણ કરે તેના સંબંધમાં અહીં દર્શાવ્યાં મુજબ કરવું.

According to the number that you shall prepare, so you shall do to everyone according to their number.

13 ૧૩ યહોવાહ પ્રત્યે સુવાસિત હોમયજ્ઞ ચઢાવવામાં જે સર્વ ઇઝરાયલના વતનીઓ છે, તેઓએ તે કાર્યો આ રીતે કરવા.

“‘All who are native-born shall do these things in this way, in offering an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai.

14 ૧૪ અને જો કોઈ પરદેશી તમારી સાથે રહેતો હોય, અથવા તમારા લોકની પેઢીનું જે કોઈ તમારી વચ્ચે રહેતું હોય અને જો તે યહોવાહને સારુ સુવાસિત હોમયજ્ઞ ચઢાવવા ઇચ્છે તો તે જેમ તમે કરો છો તે મુજબ કરે.

If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, or whoever may be among you throughout all your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai; as you do, so he shall do.

15 ૧૫ આ નિયમ તમારે માટે તથા તમારી સાથે રહેતા વિદેશીઓ માટે સમાન છે અને તે નિયમ સદાને માટે તમારા લોકના વંશજોને સારુ હોય. જેમ તમે છો તેમ યહોવાહ સમક્ષ વિદેશી પણ હોય.

For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner, a statute forever throughout all your generations. As you are, so shall the foreigner be before Adonai.

16 ૧૬ તમારે સારુ તથા તમારી સાથે રહેતા વિદેશી માટે એક જ નિયમ તથા એક જ કાનૂન હોય.’”

One Torah ·Teaching· and one judgement shall be for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner with you.’”

17 ૧૭ પછી યહોવાહ મૂસા સાથે બોલ્યા. તેમણે કહ્યું કે,

Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,

18 ૧૮ ઇઝરાયલપુત્રોને એમ કહે કે, જે દેશમાં હું તમને લઈ જાઉં છું ત્યાં તમે આવો પછી,

“Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘When you come into the land where I bring you,

19 ૧૯ જ્યારે તમે એ દેશનું અનાજ ખાઓ ત્યારે તમારે યહોવાહને અર્પણ ચઢાવવું.

then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Adonai.

20 ૨૦ ઉચ્છાલીયાર્પણને માટે પ્રથમ બાંધેલા લોટની પૂરી ચઢાવવી. જેમ ખળીનું ઉચ્છાલીયાર્પણ કરો છો તેમ તમારે તેને ઉપર ઉઠાવવી.

Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering. As the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.

21 ૨૧ તમે બાંધેલા લોટમાંથી પ્રથમ ભાગ તમારે યહોવાહ માટે ઉચ્છાલીયાર્પણ કરવું.

Of the first of your dough, you shall give to Adonai a wave offering throughout all your generations.

22 ૨૨ જ્યારે તમે અજાણતામાં આવી સરતચૂક કરો અને મારા હસ્તક મૂસાને કહેલી આજ્ઞાઓનું પાલન ન કરો.

“‘If by mistake you fail to observe all these mitzvot ·instructions·, which Adonai has spoken to Moses [Drawn out],

23 ૨૩ એટલે જે સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓ યહોવાહે મૂસા મારફતે તમને આપી છે તે યહોવાહે જે દિવસે આજ્ઞા આપી ત્યારથી માંડીને પેઢી દરપેઢી પાલન નહિ કરો.

even all that Adonai has enjoined you by Moses [Drawn out], from the day that Adonai gave commandment, and onward throughout all your generations;

24 ૨૪ અને જો આખા સમાજે અજાણતામાં ભૂલ કરી હોય, તો આખી પ્રજા યહોવાહને સુવાસને અર્થે દહનીયાર્પણ તરીકે એક વાછરડો અને તેની સાથે ખાદ્યાર્પણ તથા પેયાર્પણ શુધ્ધા વિધિ મુજબ ચઢાવે. આ સાથે પાપાર્થાર્પણ તરીકે એક બકરાનું પણ અર્પણ કરે.

then it shall be, if it was done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma to Adonai, with its meal offering, and its drink offering, according to the judgement, and one male goat for a sin offering.

25 ૨૫ યાજક સમગ્ર ઇઝરાયલ સમાજ માટે પ્રાયશ્ચિત કરે અને તેઓને માફ કરવામાં આવશે. કેમ કે એ સરતચૂક હતી અને તેઓ પોતાનું અર્પણ એટલે તેમને માટે હોમયજ્ઞ તથા પોતાની ભૂલને લીધે પાપાર્થાર્પણ લાવ્યા છે.

The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel [God prevails], and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Adonai, and their sin offering before Adonai, for their error.

26 ૨૬ તેથી સમગ્ર ઇઝરાયલ સમાજને અને તેમની સાથે વસતા વિદેશીઓને પણ માફ કરવામાં આવશે, કારણ કે સઘળા લોકથી અજાણતામાં એ પાપ થયું હતું.

All the congregation of the children of Israel [God prevails] shall be forgiven, as well as the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them; for with regard to all the people, it was done unwittingly.

27 ૨૭ જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ અજાણતામાં પાપ કરે, તો તેણે એક વર્ષની બકરી પાપાર્થાર્પણ તરીકે ચઢાવવી.

“‘If one person sins unwittingly, then he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.

28 ૨૮ અને અજાણતામાં પાપ કરનારને યાજક યહોવાહ સમક્ષ પ્રાયશ્ચિત કરે તો તે વ્યક્તિને તેની ભૂલ માફ કરવામાં આવશે.

The priest shall make atonement for the soul who errors, when he sins unwittingly before Adonai, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.

29 ૨૯ અજાણતામાં પાપ કરનાર પ્રત્યેક માટે, એટલે કે ઇઝરાયલના વતની માટે અને તેઓ મધ્યે વસનાર વિદેશી માટે આ એક જ નિયમ રાખવો.

You shall have one Torah ·Teaching· for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel [God prevails], and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them.

30 ૩૦ પણ જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ પછી તે ઇઝરાયલનાં વતની હોય કે વિદેશી હોય પણ જાણી જોઈને ઇરાદાપૂર્વક તે પાપ કરે તો તે મારું અપમાન કરે છે. તે માણસ પોતાના લોકોમાંથી અલગ કરાય.

“‘But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes Adonai. That soul shall be cut off from among his people.

31 ૩૧ તેણે મારું વચન ગણકાર્યું નથી અને મારી આજ્ઞા તોડી છે. તેથી એ માણસનો સંપૂર્ણ બહિષ્કાર કરવો. તેનો અન્યાય તેના માથે.’”

Because he has despised Adonai’s word, and has broken his order, that soul shall utterly be cut off. His iniquity shall be on him.’”

32 ૩૨ જ્યારે ઇઝરાયલી લોકો અરણ્યમાં હતા, ત્યારે તેઓએ એક માણસને વિશ્રામવારે લાકડાં વીણતા જોયો.

While the children of Israel [God prevails] were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath ·To cease· day.

33 ૩૩ જેઓએ તેને જોયો તેઓ તેને મૂસા, હારુન અને સમગ્ર સમાજ પાસે લાવ્યા.

Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer], and to all the congregation.

34 ૩૪ તેઓએ તેને બંદીખાનામાં રાખ્યો કેમ કે તેઓને શું કરવું તે હજી નક્કી થયું નહોતું.

They put him in custody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.

35 ૩૫ પછી યહોવાહે મૂસાને કહ્યું, “તે માણસ નક્કી માર્યો જાય. સમગ્ર સમાજ એને છાવણી બહાર લાવી પથ્થરે મારે.”

Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “The man shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.”

36 ૩૬ તેથી યહોવાહે મૂસાને આજ્ઞા કરી હતી તે મુજબ સમગ્ર સમાજ તેને છાવણીની બહાર લઈ ગયા અને પથ્થરે માર્યો.

All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].

37 ૩૭ વળી, યહોવાહ મૂસા સાથે બોલ્યા. તેમણે કહ્યું કે,

Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,

38 ૩૮ “ઇઝરાયલ લોકોને તું કહે અને આજ્ઞા કર કે, વંશપરંપરા પોતાના વસ્ત્રને કિનારીઓ લગાડે દરેક કિનારીઓની કોર પર ભૂરા રંગની પટ્ટીઓ કિનારી લગાડે.

“Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them that they should make themselves fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe of each border a cord of blue:

39 ૩૯ તે જોઈને તમને યહોવાહની સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓનું સ્મરણ થશે અને તમે એનું પાલન કરશો તથા તમારું અંતઃકરણ તથા તમારી પોતાની આંખો કે, જે ગણિકાઓની પાછળ ભટકી જવાની તમને ટેવ પડી છે તેઓની પાછળ ખેંચાશો નહિ.

and it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look on it, and remember all Adonai’s mitzvot ·instructions·, and do them; and that you not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute;

40 ૪૦ જેથી તમે મારી સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓ પાળવાનું યાદ રાખો અને તમારા ઈશ્વરની આગળ પવિત્ર બનો.

that you may remember and do all my mitzvot ·instructions·, and be holy to your God.

41 ૪૧ હું યહોવાહ તમારો ઈશ્વર છું. કે જે તમને મિસર દેશમાંથી તમારો ઈશ્વર થવાને બહાર લાવ્યો છે. હું યહોવાહ તમારો ઈશ્વર છું.”

I am Adonai your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to be your God: I am Adonai your God.”
