Κατα Μαρκον 3
1 Και εισήλθε πάλιν εις την συναγωγήν· και ήτο εκεί άνθρωπος έχων εξηραμμένην την χείρα.
And again, he entered into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered hand.
2 Και παρετήρουν αυτόν αν εν τω σαββάτω θέλη θεραπεύσει αυτόν, διά να κατηγορήσωσιν αυτόν.
And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him.
3 Και λέγει προς τον άνθρωπον τον έχοντα εξηραμμένην την χείρα· Σηκώθητι εις το μέσον.
And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up in the middle.”
4 Και λέγει προς αυτούς· Είναι συγκεχωρημένον εν σαββάτω να αγαθοποιήση τις ή να κακοποιήση; να σώση ψυχήν ή να θανατώση; οι δε εσιώπων.
And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent.
5 Και περιβλέψας αυτούς μετ' οργής, λυπούμενος διά την πώρωσιν της καρδίας αυτών, λέγει προς τον άνθρωπον· Έκτεινον την χείρα σου. Και εξέτεινε, και αποκατεστάθη η χειρ αυτού υγιής ως η άλλη.
And looking around at them with anger, being very saddened over the blindness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and his hand was restored to him.
6 Και εξελθόντες οι Φαρισαίοι συνεβουλεύθησαν ευθύς μετά των Ηρωδιανών κατ' αυτού, διά να απολέσωσιν αυτόν.
Then the Pharisees, going out, immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him.
7 Και ο Ιησούς ανεχώρησε μετά των μαθητών αυτού προς την θάλασσαν· και ηκολούθησαν αυτόν πολύ πλήθος από της Γαλιλαίας και από της Ιουδαίας
But Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed him from Galilee and Judea,
8 και από Ιεροσολύμων και από της Ιδουμαίας και από πέραν του Ιορδάνου και οι περί Τύρον και Σιδώνα, πλήθος πολύ, ακούσαντες όσα έπραττεν, ήλθον προς αυτόν.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and across the Jordan. And those around Tyre and Sidon, upon hearing what he was doing, came to him in a great multitude.
9 Και είπε προς τους μαθητάς αυτού να μένη πλησίον αυτού εν πλοιάριον εξ αιτίας του όχλου, διά να μη συνθλίβωσιν αυτόν·
And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him.
10 διότι εθεράπευσε πολλούς, ώστε έπιπτον επ' αυτόν διά να εγγίσωσιν αυτόν όσοι είχον αρρωστίας·
For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him.
11 και τα πνεύματα τα ακάθαρτα, ότε εθεώρουν αυτόν, προσέπιπτον εις αυτόν και έκραζον, λέγοντα ότι συ είσαι ο Υιός του Θεού.
And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying,
12 Και πολλά επετίμα αυτά διά να μη φανερώσωσιν αυτόν.
“You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known.
13 Και αναβαίνει εις το όρος και προσκαλεί όσους αυτός ήθελε, και υπήγον προς αυτόν.
And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him.
14 Και εξέλεξε δώδεκα, διά να ήναι μετ' αυτού και διά να αποστέλλη αυτούς να κηρύττωσι
And he acted so that the twelve would be with him, and so that he might send them out to preach.
15 και να έχωσιν εξουσίαν να θεραπεύωσι τας νόσους και να εκβάλλωσι τα δαιμόνια·
And he gave them authority to cure infirmities, and to cast out demons:
16 Σίμωνα, τον οποίον επωνόμασε Πέτρον,
and he imposed on Simon the name Peter;
17 και Ιάκωβον τον του Ζεβεδαίου και Ιωάννην τον αδελφόν του Ιακώβου· και επωνόμασεν αυτούς Βοανεργές, το οποίον σημαίνει Υιοί βροντής·
and also he imposed on James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, the name ‘Boanerges,’ that is, ‘Sons of Thunder;’
18 και Ανδρέαν και Φίλιππον και Βαρθολομαίον και Ματθαίον και Θωμάν και Ιάκωβον τον του Αλφαίου και Θαδδαίον και Σίμωνα τον Κανανίτην
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 και Ιούδαν τον Ισκαριώτην, όστις και παρέδωκεν αυτόν.
and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
20 Και έρχονται εις οίκον τινά· και συναθροίζεται πάλιν όχλος, ώστε αυτοί δεν ηδύναντο μηδέ να φάγωσιν άρτον.
And they went to a house, and the crowd gathered together again, so much so that they were not even able to eat bread.
21 Και ότε ήκουσαν οι συγγενείς αυτού, εξήλθον διά να πιάσωσιν αυτόν· διότι έλεγον ότι είναι έξω εαυτού.
And when his own had heard of it, they went out to take hold of him. For they said: “Because he has gone mad.”
22 Και οι γραμματείς, οίτινες κατέβησαν από Ιεροσολύμων, έλεγον ότι έχει Βεελζεβούλ, και ότι διά του άρχοντος των δαιμονίων εκβάλλει τα δαιμόνια.
And the scribes who had descended from Jerusalem said, “Because he has Beelzebub, and because by the prince of demons does he cast out demons.”
23 Και προσκαλέσας αυτούς, έλεγε προς αυτούς διά παραβολών· Πως δύναται Σατανάς να εκβάλλη Σατανάν;
And having called them together, he spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 και εάν βασιλεία διαιρεθή καθ' εαυτής, η βασιλεία εκείνη δεν δύναται να σταθή·
For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.
25 και εάν οικία διαιρεθή καθ' εαυτής, η οικία εκείνη δεν δύναται να σταθή.
And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.
26 Και αν ο Σατανάς εσηκώθη καθ' εαυτού και διηρέθη, δεν δύναται να σταθή, αλλ' έχει τέλος.
And if Satan has risen up against himself, he would be divided, and he would not be able to stand; instead he reaches the end.
27 Ουδείς δύναται να αρπάση τα σκεύη του δυνατού, εισελθών εις την οικίαν αυτού, εάν πρώτον δεν δέση τον δυνατόν, και τότε θέλει διαρπάσει την οικίαν αυτού.
No one is able to plunder the goods of a strong man, having entered into the house, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he shall plunder his house.
28 Αληθώς σας λέγω ότι πάντα τα αμαρτήματα θέλουσι συγχωρηθή εις τους υιούς των ανθρώπων και αι βλασφημίαι, όσας βλασφημήσωσιν·
Amen I say to you, that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies by which they will have blasphemed.
30 διότι έλεγον, Πνεύμα ακάθαρτον έχει.
For they said: “He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Έρχονται λοιπόν οι αδελφοί και η μήτηρ αυτού, και σταθέντες έξω απέστειλαν προς αυτόν και έκραζον αυτόν.
And his mother and brothers arrived. And standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
32 Και εκάθητο όχλος περί αυτόν· είπον δε προς αυτόν· Ιδού, η μήτηρ σου και οι αδελφοί σου έξω σε ζητούσι.
And the crowd was sitting around him. And they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.”
33 Και απεκρίθη προς αυτούς, λέγων· Τις είναι η μήτηρ μου ή οι αδελφοί μου;
And responding to them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers?”
34 Και περιβλέψας κύκλω προς τους καθημένους περί αυτόν, λέγει· Ιδού η μήτηρ μου και οι αδελφοί μου·
And looking around at those who were sitting all around him, he said: “Behold, my mother and my brothers.
35 διότι όστις κάμη το θέλημα του Θεού, ούτος είναι αδελφός μου και αδελφή μου και μήτηρ.
For whoever has done the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.”
