Βασιλειῶν Γʹ 22
1 Παρήλθον δε τρία έτη άνευ πολέμου αναμέσον της Συρίας και του Ισραήλ.
And they remained three years there not [was] war between Aram and between Israel.
2 Κατά δε το τρίτον έτος κατέβη Ιωσαφάτ ο βασιλεύς του Ιούδα προς τον βασιλέα του Ισραήλ.
And it was in the year third and he went down Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Israel.
3 Και είπεν ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ προς τους δούλους αυτού, Εξεύρετε ότι η Ραμώθ-γαλαάδ είναι ημών, και ημείς σιωπώμεν εις το να λάβωμεν αυτήν εκ της χειρός του βασιλέως της Συρίας;
And he said [the] king of Israel to servants his ¿ do you know that [belongs] to us Ramoth Gilead and we [are] inactive from taking it from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram.
4 Και είπε προς τον Ιωσαφάτ, Έρχεσαι μετ' εμού διά να πολεμήσωμεν την Ραμώθ-γαλαάδ; Και είπεν ο Ιωσαφάτ προς τον βασιλέα του Ισραήλ, Εγώ είμαι καθώς συ, ο λαός μου καθώς ο λαός σου, οι ίπποι μου καθώς οι ίπποι σου.
And he said to Jehoshaphat ¿ will you go with me for battle Ramoth Gilead and he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel as me as you as people my as people your as horses my as horses your.
5 Και είπεν ο Ιωσαφάτ προς τον βασιλέα του Ισραήλ, Ερώτησον, παρακαλώ, τον λόγον του Κυρίου σήμερον.
And he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel seek please as the day [the] word of Yahweh.
6 Και συνήθροισεν ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ τους προφήτας, περίπου τετρακοσίους άνδρας, και είπε προς αυτούς, να υπάγω εναντίον της Ραμώθ-γαλαάδ να πολεμήσω, ή να απέχω; οι δε είπον, Ανάβα, και ο Κύριος θέλει παραδώσει αυτήν εις την χείρα του βασιλέως.
And he gathered [the] king of Israel the prophets about four hundred man and he said to them ¿ will I go on Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I refrain and they said go up so he may give [it] [the] Lord in [the] hand of the king.
7 Και είπεν ο Ιωσαφάτ, Δεν είναι ενταύθα έτι προφήτης του Κυρίου, διά να ερωτήσωμεν δι' αυτού;
And he said Jehoshaphat ¿ [is] there not here a prophet of Yahweh still so we may enquire from him.
8 Και είπεν ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ προς τον Ιωσαφάτ, Είναι έτι άνθρωπός τις, Μιχαίας, ο υιός του Ιεμλά, διά του οποίου δυνάμεθα να ερωτήσωμεν τον Κύριον· πλην μισώ αυτόν· διότι δεν προφητεύει καλόν περί εμού, αλλά κακόν. Και είπεν ο Ιωσαφάτ, Ας μη λαλή ο βασιλεύς ούτως.
And he said [the] king of Israel - to Jehoshaphat still a man one to consult Yahweh from him and I I hate him for not he prophesies on me good that except evil Micaiah [the] son of Imlah and he said Jehoshaphat may not he speak the king thus.
9 Και εκάλεσεν ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ ένα ευνούχον και είπε, Σπεύσον να φέρης Μιχαίαν τον υιόν του Ιεμλά.
And he summoned [the] king of Israel a court-official one and he said bring quickly! Micaiah [the] son of Imlah.
10 Ο δε βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ και Ιωσαφάτ ο βασιλεύς του Ιούδα εκάθηντο, έκαστος επί του θρόνου αυτού, ενδεδυμένοι στολάς, εν τόπω ανοικτώ κατά την είσοδον της πύλης της Σαμαρείας· και πάντες οι προφήται προεφήτευον έμπροσθεν αυτών.
And [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah [were] sitting each on throne his clothed garments at [the] threshing floor [the] entrance of [the] gate of Samaria and all the prophets [were] prophesying before them.
11 Και Σεδεκίας ο υιός του Χαναανά είχε κάμει εις εαυτόν σιδηρά κέρατα· και είπεν, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος· Διά τούτων θέλεις κερατίσει τους Συρίους, εωσού συντελέσης αυτούς.
And he made for himself Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah horns of iron and he said thus he says Yahweh with these you will gore Aram until destroy them.
12 Και πάντες οι προφήται προεφήτευον ούτω, λέγοντες, Ανάβα εις Ραμώθ-γαλαάδ και ευοδού· διότι ο Κύριος θέλει παραδώσει αυτήν εις την χείρα του βασιλέως.
And all the prophets [were] prophesying thus saying go up Ramoth Gilead and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
13 Και ο μηνυτής, όστις υπήγε να καλέση τον Μιχαίαν, είπε προς αυτόν, λέγων, Ιδού τώρα, οι λόγοι των προφητών φανερόνουσιν εξ ενός στόματος καλόν περί του βασιλέως· ο λόγος σου λοιπόν ας ήναι ως ο λόγος ενός εξ εκείνων, και λάλησον το καλόν.
And the messenger who he had gone - to summon Micaiah he spoke to him saying here! please [the] words of the prophets a mouth one [is] good to the king let it be please (word your *QK) like [the] word of one from them and you will speak good.
14 Ο δε Μιχαίας είπε, Ζη Κύριος, ό,τι μοι είπη ο Κύριος, τούτο θέλω λαλήσει.
And he said Micaiah [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [that] which he will say Yahweh to me it I will speak.
15 Ήλθε λοιπόν προς τον βασιλέα. Και είπεν ο βασιλεύς προς αυτόν, Μιχαία, να υπάγωμεν εις Ραμώθ-γαλαάδ διά να πολεμήσωμεν, ή να απέχωμεν; Ο δε απεκρίθη προς αυτόν, Ανάβα και ευοδού· διότι ο Κύριος θέλει παραδώσει αυτήν εις την χείρα του βασιλέως.
And he came to the king and he said the king to him O Micaiah ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will we refrain and he said to him go up and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
16 Και είπε προς αυτόν ο βασιλεύς, Έως ποσάκις θέλω σε ορκίζει, να μη λέγης προς εμέ παρά την αλήθειαν εν ονόματι Κυρίου;
And he said to him the king until how many? times [will] I make swear you that not you must speak to me only truth in [the] name of Yahweh.
17 Ο δε είπεν, είδον πάντα τον Ισραήλ διεσπαρμένον επί τα όρη, ως πρόβατα μη έχοντα ποιμένα. Και είπε Κύριος, Ούτοι δεν έχουσι κύριον· ας επιστρέψωσιν έκαστος εις τον οίκον αυτού εν ειρήνη.
And he said I saw all Israel scattered to the mountains like flock which not [belongs] to them a shepherd and he said Yahweh not masters [belong] to these let them return each to house his in peace.
18 Και είπεν ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ προς τον Ιωσαφάτ, Δεν σοι είπα έτι δεν θέλει προφητεύσει καλόν περί εμού, αλλά κακόν;
And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat ¿ not did I say to you not he prophesies on me good that except evil.
19 Και ο Μιχαίας είπεν, Άκουσον λοιπόν τον λόγον του Κυρίου. Είδον τον Κύριον καθήμενον επί του θρόνου αυτού, και πάσαν την στρατιάν του ουρανού παρισταμένην περί αυτόν, εκ δεξιών αυτού και εξ αριστερών αυτού.
And he said therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh I saw Yahweh sitting on throne his and all [the] host of the heavens [was] standing at him from right his and from left his.
20 Και είπε Κύριος, Τις θέλει απατήσει τον Αχαάβ, ώστε να αναβή και να πέση εν Ραμώθ-γαλαάδ; Και ο μεν είπεν ούτως, ο δε είπεν ούτως.
And he said Yahweh who? will he deceive Ahab so he may go up and he may fall at Ramoth Gilead and it said this [one] by thus and this [one] [was] saying by thus.
21 Και εξήλθε το πνεύμα και εστάθη ενώπιον Κυρίου και είπεν, Εγώ θέλω απατήσει αυτόν.
And it came forth the spirit and it stood before Yahweh and it said I I will deceive him
22 Και είπε Κύριος προς αυτό, Τίνι τρόπω; Και είπε, Θέλω εξέλθει και θέλω είσθαι πνεύμα ψεύδους εν τω στόματι πάντων των προφητών αυτού. Και είπε Κύριος, Θέλεις απατήσει και έτι θέλεις κατορθώσει· έξελθε και κάμε ούτω.
and he said Yahweh to it how? And it said I will go out and I will be a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets his and he said you will deceive and also you will prevail go out and do thus.
23 Τώρα λοιπόν, ιδού, ο Κύριος έβαλε πνεύμα ψεύδους εν τω στόματι πάντων τούτων των προφητών σου, και ο Κύριος ελάλησε κακόν επί σε.
And therefore here! he has put Yahweh a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets your these and Yahweh he has spoken on you evil.
24 Τότε πλησιάσας Σεδεκίας ο υιός του Χαναανά, ερράπισε τον Μιχαίαν επί την σιαγόνα και είπε, Διά ποίας οδού επέρασε το Πνεύμα του Κυρίου απ' εμού, διά να λαλήση προς σε;
And he drew near Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah and he struck Micaiah on the cheek and he said where? this did it pass on [the] spirit of Yahweh from with me to speak with you.
25 Και είπεν ο Μιχαίας, Ιδού, θέλεις ιδεί, καθ' ην ημέραν θέλεις εισέρχεσθαι από ταμείου εις ταμείον διά να κρυφθής.
And he said Micaiah there you [are] about to see on the day that when you will go a room in a room to hide yourself.
26 Και είπεν ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ, Πιάσατε τον Μιχαίαν και επαναφέρετε αυτόν προς Αμών τον άρχοντα της πόλεως και προς Ιωάς τον υιόν του βασιλέως·
And he said [the] king of Israel take Micaiah and take back him to Amon [the] official of the city and to Joash [the] son of the king.
27 και είπατε, Ούτω λέγει ο βασιλεύς· Βάλετε τούτον εις την φυλακήν και τρέφετε αυτόν με άρτον θλίψεως και με ύδωρ θλίψεως, εωσού επιστρέψω εν ειρήνη.
And you will say thus he says the king put this [one] [the] house of imprisonment and feed him bread oppression and water oppression until come I in peace.
28 Και είπεν ο Μιχαίας, Εάν τωόντι επιστρέψης εν ειρήνη, ο Θεός δεν ελάλησε δι' εμού. Και είπεν, Ακούσατε σεις, πάντες οι λαοί.
And he said Micaiah certainly [if] you will return in peace not he has spoken Yahweh by me and he said listen O peoples all of them.
29 Και ανέβη ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ και Ιωσαφάτ ο βασιλεύς του Ιούδα εις Ραμώθ-γαλαάδ.
And he went up [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah Ramoth Gilead.
30 Και είπεν ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ προς τον Ιωσαφάτ, Εγώ θέλω μετασχηματισθή και εισέλθει εις την μάχην· συ δε ενδύθητι την στολήν σου. Και μετεσχηματίσθη ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ και εισήλθεν εις την μάχην.
And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat I will disguise myself and I will go in the battle and you wear own clothes your and he disguised himself [the] king of Israel and he went in the battle.
31 Ο δε βασιλεύς της Συρίας είχε προστάξει τους τριάκοντα δύο αμαξάρχας αυτού, λέγων, Μη πολεμείτε μήτε μικρόν μήτε μέγαν, αλλά μόνον τον βασιλέα του Ισραήλ.
And king of Aram he had commanded [the] commanders of the chariotry which [belonged] to him thirty and two saying not you must do battle with [the] small and with [the] great that except with [the] king of Israel to only him.
32 Και ως είδον οι αμαξάρχαι τον Ιωσαφάτ, τότε αυτοί είπον, Βεβαίως ούτος είναι ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ. Και περιεστράφησαν διά να πολεμήσωσιν αυτόν· αλλ' ο Ιωσαφάτ ανεβόησεν.
And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry Jehoshaphat and they they said surely [is] [the] king of Israel he and they turned aside on him to do battle and he cried out Jehoshaphat.
33 Ιδόντες δε οι αμαξάρχαι ότι δεν ήτο ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ, επέστρεψαν από της καταδιώξεως αυτού.
And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry that not [was] [the] king of Israel he and they turned back from after him.
34 Άνθρωπος δε τις, τοξεύσας ασκόπως, εκτύπησε τον βασιλέα του Ισραήλ μεταξύ των αρθρώσεων του θώρακος· ο δε είπε προς τον ηνίοχον αυτού, Στρέψον την χείρα σου και έκβαλέ με εκ του στρατεύματος· διότι επληγώθην.
And someone he drew on the bow to innocence his and he struck [the] king of Israel between the joints and between the body armor and he said to charioteer his turn around hand your and take out me from the camp for I have been wounded.
35 Και η μάχη εμεγαλύνθη εν τη ημέρα εκείνη· ο δε βασιλεύς ίστατο επί της αμάξης αντικρύ των Συρίων, και προς το εσπέρας απέθανε· και το αίμα έρρεεν εκ της πληγής εις τον κόλπον της αμάξης.
And it went up the battle on the day that and the king he was placed in the chariot opposite to Aram and he died in the evening and it flowed [the] blood of the wound into [the] bottom of the chariot.
36 Και περί την δύσιν του ηλίου έγεινε διακήρυξις εν τω στρατοπέδω, λέγουσα, Έκαστος εις την πόλιν αυτού και έκαστος εις τον τόπον αυτού.
And it passed the cry in the camp when went the sun saying everyone to city his and everyone to land his.
37 Και απέθανεν ο βασιλεύς και εκομίσθη εις Σαμάρειαν· και ενεταφίασαν τον βασιλέα εν Σαμαρεία.
And he died the king and he came Samaria and people buried the king in Samaria.
38 Και έπλυναν την άμαξαν εις το υδροστάσιον της Σαμαρείας· έπλυναν έτι και τα όπλα αυτού· και έγλειψαν οι κύνες το αίμα αυτού, κατά τον λόγον του Κυρίου, τον οποίον ελάλησεν.
And someone washed off the chariot at - [the] pool of Samaria and they licked up the dogs blood his and the prostitutes they bathed according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken.
39 Αι δε λοιπαί των πράξεων του Αχαάβ και πάντα όσα έκαμε, και ο ελεφάντινος οίκος τον οποίον ωκοδόμησε και πάσαι αι πόλεις, τας οποίας έκτισε, δεν είναι γεγραμμένα εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ;
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahab and all that he did and [the] house of ivory which he built and all the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
40 Και εκοιμήθη ο Αχαάβ μετά των πατέρων αυτού, και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού Οχοζίας ο υιός αυτού.
And he lay down Ahab with ancestors his and he became king Ahaziah son his in place of him.
41 Ο δε Ιωσαφάτ ο υιός του Ασά εβασίλευσεν επί τον Ιούδα, το τέταρτον έτος του Αχαάβ βασιλέως του Ισραήλ.
And Jehoshaphat [the] son of Asa he became king over Judah in year four of Ahab [the] king of Israel.
42 Ο Ιωσαφάτ ήτο τριάκοντα πέντε ετών ηλικίας ότε εβασίλευσε· και εβασίλευσεν εικοσιπέντε έτη εν Ιερουσαλήμ· το δε όνομα της μητρός αυτού ήτο Αζουβά, θυγάτηρ του Σιλεΐ.
Jehoshaphat [was] a son of thirty and five year[s] when became king he and twenty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Azubah [the] daughter of Shilhi.
43 Και περιεπάτησεν εις πάσας τας οδούς Ασά του πατρός αυτού· δεν εξέκλινεν απ' αυτών, πράττων το ευθές ενώπιον του Κυρίου. Οι υψηλοί όμως τόποι δεν αφηρέθησαν· ο λαός εθυσίαζεν έτι και εθυμίαζεν εν τοις υψηλοίς τόποις.
And he walked in all [the] way of Asa father his not he turned aside from it to do the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh. Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and making smoke at the high places.
44 Και είχεν ειρήνην ο Ιωσαφάτ μετά του βασιλέως του Ισραήλ.
And he made peace Jehoshaphat with [the] king of Israel.
45 Αι δε λοιπαί των πράξεων του Ιωσαφάτ, και τα κατορθώματα αυτού όσα έκαμε, και οι πόλεμοι αυτού, δεν είναι γεγραμμένα εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ιούδα;
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoshaphat and might his which he did and which he waged war ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
46 Και το υπόλοιπον των σοδομιτών, το εναπολειφθέν εν ταις ημέραις Ασά του πατρός αυτού, αυτός εξήλειψεν από της γης.
And [the] rest of the cult prostitute[s] which it remained in [the] days of Asa father his he destroyed from the land.
47 Τότε δεν υπήρχε βασιλεύς εν Εδώμ· διοικητής ήτο βασιλεύς.
And [was] a king there not in Edom a deputy [was] king.
48 Ο Ιωσαφάτ έκαμε πλοία εν Θαρσείς, διά να πλεύσωσιν εις Οφείρ διά χρυσίον· πλην δεν υπήγον, διότι τα πλοία συνετρίφθησαν εν Εσιών-γάβερ.
Jehoshaphat (he made *QK) ships of Tarshish to go Ophir towards for gold and not it went for (they were broken *QK) [the] ships at Ezion Geber.
49 Τότε είπεν Οχοζίας ο υιός του Αχαάβ προς τον Ιωσαφάτ, Ας υπάγωσιν οι δούλοί μου μετά των δούλων σου εις τα πλοία· ο Ιωσαφάτ όμως δεν ηθέλησε.
Then he said Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab to Jehoshaphat let them go servants my with servants your in [the] ships and not he was willing Jehoshaphat.
50 Και εκοιμήθη ο Ιωσαφάτ μετά των πατέρων αυτού και ετάφη μετά των πατέρων αυτού εν τη πόλει Δαβίδ του πατρός αυτού· εβασίλευσε δε αντ' αυτού Ιωράμ ο υιός αυτού.
And he lay down Jehoshaphat with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoram son his in place of him.
51 Οχοζίας ο υιός του Αχαάβ εβασίλευσεν επί τον Ισραήλ εν Σαμαρεία, το δέκατον έβδομον έτος του Ιωσαφάτ βασιλέως του Ιούδα· και εβασίλευσε δύο έτη επί τον Ισραήλ.
Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab he became king over Israel in Samaria in year seven-teen of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.
52 Και έπραξε τα πονηρά ενώπιον του Κυρίου, και περιεπάτησεν εις την οδόν του πατρός αυτού και εις την οδόν της μητρός αυτού και εις την οδόν του Ιεροβοάμ υιού του Ναβάτ, όστις έκαμε τον Ισραήλ να αμαρτήση·
And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in [the] way of mother his and in [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat who he caused to sin Israel.
53 διότι ελάτρευσε τον Βάαλ και προσεκύνησεν αυτόν, και παρώργισε Κύριον τον Θεόν του Ισραήλ, κατά πάντα όσα έπραξεν ο πατήρ αυτού.
And he served Baal and he bowed down to it and he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel according to all that he had done father his.
