< 1 Timote 6 >

1 Yaaba n ye ti yonbdi cacagma nni ń ya nua bi yonbdanba nani yaaba n dagdi yeni ti kpiagdi, ke ban da ti fanbi U Tienu yeli yeni o bangima.
Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine may not be blasphemed.
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 Nilo ya pia bangtianma ke maa taa yeni a yaama, bii kaa tuo U Tienu bangima yaama n ŋua ti Diedo Jesu Kiristi ñɔmaama yeni mi yenŋɔdma bangima,
If any man teacheth otherwise, and agreeth not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 O tie yuondaano, ki naa bani libakuli. Yaali n pugdi, o pia ku ñɔniagu yeni mi niama yianu, uni n cuoni yeni ki nanga, a kɔnkɔna, ti sugdi, ku tuotabgu,
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, from which cometh envy, strife, railings, evil suspicions,
5 Nufanu nunfandanba ñɔniama yaama n ki pia gbenma. Bi tudi i mɔmɔni sanu, ki maali ke mi yenŋɔdma tie ŋalmani tuonli i.
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 Lani n yeni mi yenŋɔdma yeni li pamanli n tie ya ŋalmani n yabi ñiali.
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
Ti go kan gedi yeni libakuli mo.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 Lanwani ii, ti ya pia tin ba di yaali yeni tin ba ŋagni ti gbanu yeni yaali, li dagdi ti.
And having food and raiment with these let us be content.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 Kelima, mi ligibuama n tie ti tuonbiadi kuli jiinjali; nitianba ba i ligi, ki ji bodi ki fagdi yeni U Tienu sanu, ki kuani bi yuli ti yanyagdi nni.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But thou, O man of God, flee from these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 ŋan kɔni ti dudugdi kɔkɔnmɔnli, ŋan cuo ban yini a ya miali n ki pia gbenma ya po, yaali ya po ke a tieni kasiedimɔno a dudugdi po bi nib boncianli nintuali. (aiōnios g166)
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
13 N miadi a U Tienu yua n tieni bonlikuli li miali nintuali yeni Jesu Kiristi yua waani kasiedmɔno o dudugdi po Pɔnsi Pilati kani,
I command thee in the sight of God, who maketh alive all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 ke ŋan kubi U Tienu ñɔmaama bonŋanla ki ŋɔdi ya yema n ki pia taglibakuli, haliyeni ti Diedo Jesu Kiristi ń ba dɔgdi.
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 Yua n ba kadi ki waani ti kpiagdi yudaano, u paaciamu daano, bi badcianba ya badciamo, bi diediba ya diedo, yua n kubi ya miali n ki pia gbenma, li yogu ya pundi,
Who in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 Yua n ye ban kan nandi ya yenma kani, yua ke niloba kuli ki kpeli ki la, ki go kan la halibada, yua n yeni ti yudandi yeni u paaciamu. Ami! (aiōnios g166)
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn g165)
18 ŋan tundi ba, ban ya tie yaali n ŋani, bi piama ń ya yabi a tuadŋama, ti bulcindi yeni ya nuu n tiani yama nni.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to share;
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 Timote, ŋan ŋanbi ki guudi ban teni a yaali ki nan ŋa ya maacianma n ki tie maamɔnma, kaa pia mayuli, yeni u nufanu bancianma n̄ɔniagu
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 yaagu ke yaaba n tudi ki fagdi yeni ti dudugdi taa ke gu tua bi tuonli. U Tienu ŋanbli ń ya ye yeni a.
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. The first to Timothy was written from Laodicea, which is the chiefest city of Phrygia Pacatiana.
