< Luka 5 >

Now it happened, while the crowd pressed on him and heard the word of God, that he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret.
He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
He entered into one of the boats, which was Shimon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the crowds from the boat.
4 Wan den maadi ki gbeni o den yedi Simono: “Suagi ki pundi mi ñima n ñua naani, ki lu i taali ki kpaani i jami.”
When he had finished speaking, he said to Shimon, "Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch."
5 Simono den goa ki yedi o: “Canbaa, ti den dua tuuni ñamungu kuli, tii baa pu, ama ŋan yedi yeni n baa lu i taali.”
Shimon answered him, "Master, we worked all night, and took nothing; but at your word I will let down the nets."
6 Ban den luni, bi den cuo i jami boncianla ŋali ke bi taali cenli,
When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.
They beckoned to their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. They came, and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.
8 Simono Pieli n den laa lani, o den gbaani Jesu nintuali ki yedi o: “N daano foagidi n kani kelima n tie tuonbiadi daano.”
But Shimon Kipha, when he saw it, fell down at Yeshua's knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord."
9 O den maadi yeni kelima ti jawaandi den cuo o, wani leni yaaba n ye leni o kuli, kelima ban den cuo i jami boncianla maama.
For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;
10 Li go den tie yeni Sebede bijaba Jaka leni Jan po, bani Simono jankpaanlieba. Jesu den yedi Simono: “Da jie liba. Nani ŋan lingi i jami maama, dinla liiga a baa lingi bi niba U Tienu po.”
and so also were Yaquv and Yukhanan, sons of Zabedai, who were partners with Shimon. Yeshua said to Shimon, "Do not be afraid. From now on you will be catching people."
When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.
12 Jesu n den ye doyendu nni, o joa den ye li kani ke o gbannandi kuli tie gbaadima. Wan den laa Jesu, o den labini o kani ki mia o ki yedi: “N daano a ya bua a baa fidi ki ŋanbi nni.”
It happened, while he was in one of the cities, look, there was a man full of leprosy. When he saw Yeshua, he fell on his face, and begged him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean."
13 Jesu den tandi o nuu ki sii o ki yedi: “N bua ŋanbi.” Lanyogunu mi gbaadima den gbeni opo.
And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I am willing. Be cleansed." Immediately the leprosy left him.
And he commanded him, "Do not tell anyone, but go your way, and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing according to what Mushe commanded, for a testimony to them."
But the report concerning him spread much more, and large crowds came together to hear, and to be healed of their infirmities.
But he withdrew himself into the desert, and prayed.
17 Dayenli Jesu den bangi bi niba U Tienu maama, Falisieninba leni li balimaama bangikaaba bi tianba den ka likani. Bi den ñani Galile dogu nni leni Jude ya dogu nni kuli leni Jelusalema moko. O Diedo paalu den ye leni Jesu ke o paagidi a yiama.
It happened on one of those days, that he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the Law sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galila, Yehuda, and Urishlim. The power of the Lord was with him to heal.
And look, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before him.
Not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the midst before Yeshua.
20 Jesu n den laa bi dandanli, o den yedi o joa yeni: “A baa a tuonbiadi sugili.”
Seeing their faith, he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven you."
The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"
22 Jesu den bani ban bungi yaala, ki goa yedi ba: “Be n teni ke yi bungi yi pala nni yeni?
But Yeshua, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, "Why are you reasoning so in your hearts?
Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you;' or to say, 'Arise and walk?'
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" (he said to the paralyzed man), "I tell you, arise, and take up your cot, and go to your house."
Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God.
26 Li pakili leni li fangi den cuo bikuli ke bi kpiagi U Tienu ki tua biyaba: “Dinla ti laa yaala n pia ki lidiga.”
Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."
After these things he went out, and saw a tax collector named Lewi sitting at the tax office, and said to him, "Follow me."
28 O den fii ki ŋa li kuli ki ŋoadi o.
He left everything, and rose up and followed him.
Lewi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.
30 Falisieninba leni bi siiga yaaba n tie li balimaama bangi kaaba den jaligi Jesu ŋoadikaaba ki tua: “Be yaapo ke yi di ki go ñu leni bi lubigaaba leni i tagibiadi danba?”
The Pharisees and their scribes grumbled at his disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"
31 Jesu den goa ki yedi ba: “Ya niba n pia laafia kaa bua lotoli, ama a yiama.
Yeshua answered them, "Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.
32 Mii cua ki baa yini yaaba n tiegi ka, kali ti tuonbiadi danba ke ban lebidi bi yama.”
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
33 Bi niba den yedi Jan ŋoadikaaba leni tinba falisienba ya yaaba kuli yen luo bu ñoabu ki go jaandi, ama a ya yaaba wani nan di ki go ñu.”
They said to him, "The disciples of Yukhanan often fast and pray, likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink."
He said to them, "Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in those days."
He also told a parable to them. "No one having torn a piece from a new garment puts it on an old garment, or else he will tear the new, and also the piece from the new will not match the old.
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.
38 Tiladi ban piagi duvenpaano ti dayuapandi nni.
But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.
No one having drunk old wine desires new, for he says, 'The old is good.'"
