< Luka 18 >

He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray and not give up,
2 O den yedi: “O bujialo den ye u dogu nni kaa jie U Tienu, kaa fangi niloba mo.
saying, “There was a judge in a certain city who didn’t fear God and didn’t respect man.
3 Li kpepuoli moko den ye u dogu yeni niinni ki yen kpendi ki miadi o ki tua: 'Han tu npo n koaginkoa n panli.'
A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, ‘Defend me from my adversary!’
He wouldn’t for a while; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,
yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”
6 O Diedo den pugini ki yedi: “Yi gbadi o bujiabiado yeni n yedi yaala.
The Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.
Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?
I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
He also spoke this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others:
10 O den yedi: “Niba lie den gedi U Tienu diegu nni ki baa jaandi. O yendo den tie Falisieni, o lielo mo lubigaalo.
“Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
11 Falisieni yeni den sedi ki jaandi o pali nni ki yedi: 'U Tienu, n tuondi a kelima mii ta leni ya niba n sieni ki tie sugida, leni bi nibiadiba, leni mi conconma danba, n tuondi a ke mii taa leni ya lubigaalo n tie na moko.
The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
12 Dana lele siiga kuli n luo bu ñoabu dana lie. N ñandi n dim n bonbaakaala kuli nni.'
I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’
But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
14 Jesu den pugini ki yedi: “N waani yi i moamoani ke wani n den kuni o denpo ke U Tienu saa opo i moamoani ke o tiegi, ama Falisieni yeni wani ki den baa. Kelima yua n fiini o yuli kuli, U Tienu baa jiini o, yua n jiini o yuli mo U Tienu baa fiini o.”
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
15 Bi niba den kpendi nni a canpanda Jesu kani ke wan sii ba. O ŋoadikaaba n den laa lani bi den fu leni yaaba n kpendi nni ba.
They were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
16 Ama Jesu den teni ke bi cuani ba ki yedi: “Cedi mani a biwaala n cua n kani ki da deli ba, kelima U Tienu diema tie yaaba n tie nani a biwaala yene po.
Yeshua summoned them, saying, “Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.
17 N waani yi i moamoani ke yua n kaa tuo U Tienu diema nani ki biwaaga yeni kan kua lienni.”
Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
A certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good Rabbi, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
19 Jesu den goa ki yedi o: “Be yaapo ke a yini nni niŋama? U Tienu bebe yaaka oba kuli ki ŋani.
Yeshua asked him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one: God.
You know the commandments: ‘Don’t commit adultery,’ ‘Don’t murder,’ ‘Don’t steal,’ ‘Don’t give false testimony,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”
21 O joa yeni den goa ki yedi: “N kubi lankuli ŋali n biwaama nni.”
He said, “I have observed all these things from my youth up.”
22 Jesu n den gbadi lani o den yedi o: “Bonyenla n da go poadi a po. Han kuadi ŋan pia yaala ki boagidi a luoda li ligi, lane a baa pia ŋalimani tanpoli po. Lani ŋan cua ki ŋoadi nni.”
When Yeshua heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”
23 O joa n den gbadi laa maama, o pali den biidi kelima o piama den yaba.
But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.
Yeshua, seeing that he became very sad, said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!
For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”
27 O den goa ki yedi: “Bi nisaaliba n kan fidi yaala U Tienu wani baa fidi la.”
But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
28 Lani, Pieli den yedi o: “Diidi ki le, tinba ti den fii ki ŋa tin pia yaala kuli ki ŋua ŋa.”
Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”
He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,
Ya yogunu n kpenda mo, o baa baa ya miali n kan gbeni.” (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.”
He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.
For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.
33 ki pua o i baliji ki yuandi ki kpa o. Ama li dataali daali o baa fii bi tinkpiba siiga.”
They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”
They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they didn’t understand the things that were said.
35 Jesu n den nagini Jeliko, li sua ke o juamo ka u sankunu ki miadi.
As he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.
36 O den gbadi ke ku niligu pendi ke o den buali lan tie yaala.
Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant.
They told him that Yeshua of Nazareth was passing by.
38 O den kpaani: “Jesu, Dafidi Bijua, gbadi npo mi niŋima.”
He cried out, “Yeshua, you son of David, have mercy on me!”
Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”
40 Jesu den sedi ki yedi ban cuani o o kani. O juamo n den nagini, Jesu den buali o ki yedi:
Standing still, Yeshua commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him,
41 “A bua min tieni apo be?” O den goa ki yedi: “N daano, n bua ŋan teni min go ya nua.”
“What do you want me to do?” He said, “Lord, that I may see again.”
42 Jesu den yedi o: “A nuni n go ya nua, a dandanli paagi a.”
Yeshua said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you.”
43 Lanyogunu o nuni go den noadi, ke o ŋoadi Jesu ki pagi U Tienu.
Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.
