< Luka 16 >

He was saying now also to the disciples (of him: *k) A man certain there was rich who had a manager, and he was accused unto him as wasting the possessions of him.
2 O den yini o ki yedi o: 'N gba ke bi maadi apo be n yeni? Doagidi ki waani nni a ŋalimankubili tuonli fuuli, kelima a kan go baa ki ya tie n ŋalimanikubilo.'
And having called him he said to him; What [is] this I hear concerning you? do give the account of the stewardship of you; not for (you are able *N+kO) any longer to manage.
3 O ŋalimankubilo yeni den yedi o pali nni: 'N canbaa baa ñani nni li ŋalimankubili tuonli nni. N baa tieni lede? Ki ko bu kpaabu? N kan fidi. ki ya miadi? Bu miabu pia nni i fe.
Said then within himself the manager; What shall I do, for the master of me is taking away the management from me? To dig not I am able, to beg I am ashamed.
4 N bani min baa tieni maama ke o ya ti ñani nni li ŋalimankubili tuonli nni, ke n gedi ki cani yaaba kuli, ban ga n cangu.'
I know what I may do so that when I may have been removed (from *no) the management they may receive me into the homes (of them. *NK+o)
5 Lani o den yini o canbaa pandanba kuli yendo yendo. O den yedi yua n kpa cua: 'A pia n canbaa po i ŋa yo?'
And having called to [him] one each of the debtors of the master his own he was saying to the first; How much owe you to the master of me?
6 O den goa ki yedi o:' kpaboba kobiga.' O ŋalimankubilo den yedi o: 'Ga a panli tili ki kali ki diani tontoni kpaboba piimuu.'
(then *NK+o) he said; A hundred baths of oil. (then *N+kO) he said to him; do take your (the bills *N+kO) and having sat down soon do write fifty.
7 O den yedi toa mo: 'A pia n can baa po i ŋa yo?' O den goa ki yedi: 'Halikama kpalipadi kobiga.' O ŋalimanbilo den yedi o: 'Ga a panli tili ki diani kpapadi piinii.'
Then to another he said; You yourself now how much owe? And he said; A hundred cors of wheat. (and *k) He says to him; do take your (bills *N+kO) and do write eighty.
8 O canbaa den pagi laa ŋalimankubilo yua n kaa tiegi, kelima o den tieni u fanu.”
And praised the master the manager unrighteous because shrewdly he had acted, For the sons of the age this more shrewd than the sons of the light in the generation their own are. (aiōn g165)
9 N yedi yi ke yin taa mani ŋanduna ŋalimani yi n joagini yeni, ki baa danlinba, ke yi yaa ti pia yi ŋalimani ya yogunu, ban n ga yi cangu naani ki pia juodima nni. (aiōnios g166)
and I myself to you say; for yourselves do make friends by the wealth of unrighteousness, that when (it may fail *N+KO) they may receive you into the eternal dwellings.
The [one] faithful with very little also with much faithful is, and the [one] with very little unrighteous also with much unrighteous is.
11 Lanwani bi yaa fidi ki dugi yipo leni yin kubi ŋanduna ŋalimani maama yi n pia i boandi, ŋme baa piani yi o ŋalimanmoano?
If therefore in the unrighteous wealth faithful not you have been, the true [riches] who to you will entrust?
12 Bi yaa fidi ki dugi yipo leni yin kubi nitoa ŋalimano maama, ŋme baa teni yi ya ŋalimano n tie yi yua?
And if in that which [is] of another faithful not you have been, that which ([is] yours *NK+O) who to you will give
No servant is able to two masters to serve; either for the one he will hate and the other he will love, or to one he will be devoted and the other he will despise. Not you are able God to serve and money.
14 Falisieninba yaaba n den bua i ligi ke likandi den gbadi lankuli ki ñuadi Jesu.
Were listening to now these things all (and *k) the Pharisees lovers of money being and they were ridiculing Him.
15 O den yedi ba: “yinba yi moandi ke bi niba n ya nua ke yi tiegi, ama U Tienu wani n bani yi pala. Bi niba n nua ke yaala n pia ti kpiagidi yeni tie caginde U Tienu po.
And He said to them; You yourselves are those justifying themselves before men, but God knows the hearts of you for that which among men [is] exalted an abomination before God (is. *k)
The law and the prophets [were] (until *N+kO) John; from that time the kingdom of God is evangelised [about], and everyone into it forces his way.
17 Tanpoli leni ki tinga pendima dingi ki cie li balimaama nni ba dianfuudi yenga n bodi ki kan tieni.
Easier for however it is the heaven and the earth to pass away than of the law one stroke of a pen to fail.
18 Yua n ñani o pua ki go taa potoa kuli conbi. Yua mo n taa ban ñani yaa pua kuli, o conbi.
Everyone who is putting away the wife of him and marrying another commits adultery, And (everyone *k) who separated her from a husband marrying commits adultery.
A man now certain there was rich and he was clothed in purple and fine linen making good cheer every day in splendor.
20 O luodo moko den ye ke bi yi o Lasala. O den yen dua o piado yeni diegu buliñoajabu nni ke o gbanandi kuli tie nala.
A poor man now certain (was *k) named Lazarus (who *k) had been laid at the gate of him full of sores
Baa i sangbanli den kpendi ki liadi o nala moko.
and desiring to be fed from (crumbs *KO) that falling from the table of the rich man; but even the dogs coming were licking the sores of him.
22 To, o luodo den kpe ke malekinba taa o ki geni Abalaŋama kani. O piado moko den ti kpe ke bi piino.
It came to pass that then to die the poor man and to be carried away he by the angels into the bosom of Abraham; Died then also the rich man and was buried.
23 O den laadi fala bi tinkpiba n ye naankani. O den yaadi ki diidi ŋalifoagima, ki ban laa Abalaŋama leni Lasala ke o ye Abalaŋama kani. (Hadēs g86)
And in Hades having lifted up the eyes of him, being in torment he sees Abraham from afar and Lazarus in the bosom of him.
And he himself having cried out said; Father Abraham, do have mercy on me and do send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of the finger of him in water and may cool the tongue of mine, for I am suffering in flame this.
25 Abalaŋama den goa ki yedi o: 'N biga, Tiadi ke a den baa yaala n ŋani boncianla ŋan den ye ya yogunu, ke Lasala mo den laadi fala boncianla. Moala, o ye ne ke bi baagidi o, a mo laadi fala.
Said then Abraham; Child, do remember that you did fully receive (you yourself *k) the [things] good of you in the lifetime of you, and Lazarus likewise the [things] harmful. Now however (here *N+kO) he is comforted, you yourself now are suffering.
And (besides *N+kO) all these things between us and you a chasm great has been fixed so that those desiring to pass (from here *N+kO) to you not may be able nor (those *k) from there to us they shall pass.
27 O piado den yedi: 'Lanwani n nan mia ŋa, `ŋan soani Lasala n baa den denpo.
He said then; I implore you then father, that you may send him to the house of the father of mine —
I have for five brothers — so that he may warn to them that not also they themselves may come to place this of torment.
Says (however *no) (to him *ko) Abraham; They have Moses and the prophets; they should listen to them.
And he said; No, father Abraham, but if one from [the] dead shall go to them, they will repent.
He said however to him; If to Moses and the prophets not they listen, (not even *N+kO) if one out from [the] dead shall rise will they be persuaded.
