1 Li danpiili jaanma n pundi, Jesu ŋoadikaaba kuli den ta ki ye kaanyendu.
And when the day of Pentecost was now accomplishing, they were all together in one place.
2 Lanyogunu lanyogunu ku fuugu den ñani tanpoli po ki naani leni ku faciangu, ki gbieni ban ka ya dieli nni.
And there came suddenly a sound out of heaven as of a violent impetuous blowing, and filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 Bi den laa ya landi naani leni mi fatanlanma ke yi paadipaadi ki maani yua kuli po.
And there appeared to them parted tongues, as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them.
4 Bikuli den gbie leni U Tienu fuoma ki cili ki maadi mabotoe nni nani mi fuoma n puni ba ban maadi maama.
And they were all filled with [the] Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave to them to speak forth.
5 Li sua ke ya Jufinba n fangin U Tienu ki ye ŋanduna nibuoli kuli siiga da den cua ki ye Jelusalema.
Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, pious men, from every nation of those under heaven.
6 Ban den gbadi ku fuugu yeni, bi den taani ki yaba. Li den paki ba boncianla kelima yua kuli den gba ke bi maadi o mabocele nni.
But the rumour of this having spread, the multitude came together and were confounded, because each one heard them speaking in his own dialect.
7 Ki yanlidiga leni li pakili den cuo ba ke bi tua: yaaba n maadi ne baa tie Galile yaaba kaa?
And all were amazed and wondered, saying, Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galilaeans?
8 Li nan tie lede ke ti gba ke bi maadi yua kuli mabocele nni?
and how do we hear [them] each in our own dialect in which we have been born,
9 Tinba yaaba Pati leni Medi yaaba, leni Elama yaaba, ki go tie yaaba n tie Mesopotami, leni Jude, leni Kapadosi leni Ponita leni Asi.
Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and those who inhabit Mesopotamia, and Judaea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
10 leni Filiji, Panfili, Ejibiti leni Silena ya tin buoli kuli, leni ti siiga yaaba n ñani Loma ki cua ke bi tianba tie Jufinba, bi tianba mo tie nilanba yaaba n lebidi ki ŋoadi U Tienu, leni Kileta yaaba leni Alabi yaaba.
both Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya which adjoin Cyrene, and the Romans sojourning [here], both Jews and proselytes,
11 Li ga lede ke tikuli yua kuli gba ke bi maadi o mabuolu ki togidi U Tienu n tieni ya bancianma.
Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking in our own tongues the great things of God?
12 Li pakili den cuo bikuli ke baa bani ban maadi yaala. Bi den buali biyaba line bua ki yedi be?
And they were all amazed and in perplexity, saying one to another, What would this mean?
13 Bi tianba mo den ñuadi ba ki tua: Bi ñuni duven ki gaadi.
But others mocking said, They are full of new wine.
14 Lani, Pieli den sedi leni bi piiga tondiyendiba ki kpaani ki yedi: yinba Jufinba leni yaaba n ye Jelusalema ne kuli cengi mani n maama boŋanla ki bandi line:
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke forth to them, Men of Judaea, and all ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give heed to my words:
15 duven kaa cuo ya jaba n tiena nani yin tama maama. Kelima u yienu daa paagi.
for these are not full of wine, as ye suppose, for it is the third hour of the day;
16 Line tie o sawalipualo joeli n den maadi yaala ya maama ki yedi:
but this is that which was spoken through the prophet Joel,
17 U Tienu yedi daa: a juodi dana yogunu n baa teni n fuoma n jiidi ki yayadi bi nisaaliba kuli po. Yi bijaba leni yi bisiaba baa pua sawali, yi jawaaba baa ba li bonlekaala, yi jakpela mo baa dangi ti dangidi.
And it shall be in the last days, saith God, [that] I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your elders shall dream with dreams;
18 Yeni de, laa dana nni n baa teni n fuoma jiidi, ki yayadi n naacenba leni n potuada po, ke ban pua sawali.
yea, even upon my bondmen and upon my bondwomen in those days will I pour out of my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
19 N ba tieni li bonlidinkaala tanpoli, ki go tieni sinankeeninba ki tinga nni. Mi soama, mi fantama leni a muñijuana.
And I will give wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 U yienu baa lebidi ki biigi, o ŋmaalo moko baa lebidi ki moandi nani mi soama yeni. Hali ke O diedo daali ya dacianli npia ti kpiagidi yeni daa cua.
the sun shall be changed to darkness and the moon to blood, before the great and gloriously appearing day of [the] Lord come.
21 Lani yua n jaandi ki mia O diedo yeli nni kuli baa faabi.
And it shall be that whosoever shall call upon the name of [the] Lord shall be saved.
22 Yin Isalele yaaba, cengi mani mi naa maama. Nasaleti yua Jesu, U Tienu n den tieni yua yaapo seedi yi kuli nintuali kelima wan den tieni yaa bancianma leni yaa bonlidinkaala leni yaa sinankeeninba yi siiga yeni, nani yinba yiba n bani maama.
Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus the Nazaraean, a man borne witness to by God to you by works of power and wonders and signs, which God wrought by him in your midst, as yourselves know
23 Bi den laa joa ki teni o yi nuu nni nani U Tienu n den jagi ki bili maama ki tuodi ki bani ke li baa tieni yeni. Yi den kpa o ki teni ke yaaba n kaa fangi U Tienu den joani o li dapoapoanli po.
— him, given up by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye, by [the] hand of lawless [men], have crucified and slain.
24 U Tienu den fiini o bi tinkpiiba siiga, ki faabi o leni mi kuuma lolima, li kan den tuo mi kuuma n yaa muubi o moko.
Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death, inasmuch as it was not possible that he should be held by its power;
25 Kelima Dafidi den yedi opo line: N den nua o Diedo n kani yogunu kuli. O ye n jienu ke n yama n da yagini.
for David says as to him, I foresaw the Lord continually before me, because he is at my right hand that I may not be moved.
26 Lani n teni ke n pali mani, ke n lanbu maadi li pamanli maama, n gbannandi mo baa ye leni mi suginma.
Therefore has my heart rejoiced and my tongue exulted; yea more, my flesh also shall dwell in hope,
27 Kelima fini U Tienu kan ŋa nni bi tinkpiba diema nni. A kan tuo ke a nigagidiŋamo n la mi bedima. (Hadēs g86)
for thou wilt not leave my soul in hades, nor wilt thou give thy gracious one to see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
28 A teni ke n bandi li miali sanu, a go baa teni n pali n yaa mani boncianla kelima a ye leni nni.
Thou hast made known to me [the] paths of life, thou wilt fill me with joy with thy countenance.
29 Pieli go den yedi: N kpiiba n baa fidi ki kadi ki waani yi ti yaaja Dafidi maama. O den kpe ke bi piini o, o kuli mo ye ti siiga ŋali dinla.
Brethren, let it be allowed to speak with freedom to you concerning the patriarch David, that he has both died and been buried, and his monument is amongst us unto this day.
30 Kelima o den tie sawalipualo ki pua sawali, ki bani ke U Tienu niani o o ñoanianu ki poli ke o baa teni o puoliŋuani siiga yendo n ti kali o gbandi po.
Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn to him with an oath, of the fruit of his loins to set upon his throne;

he, seeing [it] before, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither has he been left in hades nor his flesh seen corruption. (Hadēs g86)
32 U Tienu den fiini o bi tinkpiba siiga. Ti kuli tie lipo seedinba.
This Jesus has God raised up, whereof all we are witnesses.

Having therefore been exalted by the right hand of God, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which ye behold and hear.
34 Dafidi naa den doni ki gedi tanpoli po ama o nan yedi: O Diedo U Tienu den yedi n Diedo: Kali n jienu po,
For David has not ascended into the heavens, but he says himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand
35 ŋali min baa guli a yibalinba ŋan ŋma ba.
until I have put thine enemies [to be] the footstool of thy feet.
36 Pieli go den yedi: Lani yaa po yinba Isalele yaaba kuli, yin bandi mani boŋanla ke U Tienu teni ke Jesu, yin den joani yua li dapoanli po, tie o Diedo leni U Tienu n gandi yua.
Let the whole house of Israel therefore know assuredly that God has made him, this Jesus whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Ban den gbadi mi naa maama mi den cuo bi pala ke bi yedi pieli leni o tondilieba: Ti kpiiba, ti baa tieni lede?
And having heard [it] they were pricked in heart, and said to Peter and the other apostles, What shall we do, brethren?
38 Pieli den goa yedi ba: Lebidi mani yi yama, yi siiga yua kuli n batisi leni Jesu Kilisiti yeli nni, ke yin baa sugili yi tuonbiadi po. Lani yi baa ba U Tienu paabu yaabu n tie U Tienu Fuoma Yua.
And Peter said to them, Repent, and be baptised, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for remission of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 Kelima U Tienu ñoanianu yeni tie yinba yaapo leni yi bila yaa po, ki go tie yaaba n ye ŋali foagima yaa po, o Diedo ti Tienu n baa yini yaaba kuli.
For to you is the promise and to your children, and to all who [are] afar off, as many as [the] Lord our God may call.
40 Pieli den maadi matoama boncianla ki pugini, ki tiendi seedi Jesu po ki tundi ba ki yedi ba: Sani mani ki faabi yi yula leni bi naa nibiadiba.
And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, Be saved from this perverse generation.
41 Bi den batisi yaaba n den ga o maama. Laa daali yaaba n den pugini bi ŋoadikaaba po den bua ki pundi niba tudata.
Those then who had accepted his word were baptised; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.
42 Bi den kuani bi yama ki gaani Jesu tondiba bangima, ki taagi li dandanli yaaba taanli nni, ki taandi ki taani dupen ki go jaandi yogunu kuli kaa cedi.
And they persevered in the teaching and fellowship of the apostles, in breaking of bread and prayers.
43 Li fangili den cuo nilo kuli. Jesu tondiba den tiendi mi bancianma leni li bonlidinkaala boncianla.
And fear was upon every soul, and many wonders and signs took place through the apostles' means.
44 Yaaba n den daani Jesu kuli den ye kaanyendu, ki taani bi bonpiakaala ke li tie bi kuli yaala.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common,
45 Bi den yen kuadi bi kuani leni bi loagi, ki boagidi laa ligi bi siiga nani yua kuli n luo maama.
and sold their possessions and substance, and distributed them to all, according as any one might have need.
46 Daali kuli bi den taagi U Tienu diegu nni leni yanyenma kaa cedi, ki caa bi yaba deni ki taandi ki taani dupen, ki boagi bi jiema leni biyaba leni li pamanli leni li padingili,
And every day, being constantly in the temple with one accord, and breaking bread in [the] house, they received their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
47 ki pagi U Tienu ki baadi li seli bi niba kuli nuntuali. Daali kuli o Diedo go den faabidi nitoaba ki pugidi Kilisiti n yini yaaba.
praising God, and having favour with all the people; and the Lord added [to the assembly] daily those that were to be saved.
