Offenbarung 6
1 Und ich sah, wie das Lamm das erste der Siegel auftat, und hörte eines von den Tieren wie mit des Donners Stimme sagen: Komm und siehe!
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 Und ich sah, und siehe! ein weißes Pferd, und der darauf saß, hatte einen Bogen, und ihm ward eine Krone gegeben, und er zog aus als Überwinder, und um zu überwinden.
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 Und da es das zweite Siegel auftat, hörte ich das zweite Tier sagen: Komm und siehe!
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 Und es ging ein anderes, feuerrotes Pferd hervor, und dem darauf Sitzenden ward gegeben, den Frieden von der Erde zu nehmen, daß sie einander erschlugen; und es ward ihm ein großes Schwert gegeben.
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 Und da es das dritte Siegel auftat, hörte ich das dritte Tier sagen: Komm und siehe! Und ich sah, und siehe! ein schwarzes Pferd, und der darauf saß, hatte eine Waage in seiner Hand.
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 Und ich hörte eine Stimme inmitten der vier Tiere sagen: Ein Maß Weizen um einen Denar und drei Maß Gerste um einen Denar. Und das Öl und den Wein sollst du nicht schädigen.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 Und da es das vierte Siegel auftat, hörte ich die Stimme des vierten Tieres sagen: Komm und siehe!
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 Und ich sah, und siehe! ein fahles Pferd, und der Name dessen, der darauf saß, war der Tod, und die Hölle folgte mit ihm nach. Und ihm ward Gewalt gegeben über den vierten Teil der Erde, zu töten durch das Schwert und durch Hunger und durch Tod und durch die wilden Tiere der Erde. (Hadēs g86)
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (Hadēs g86)
9 Und als es das fünfte Siegel auftat, sah ich unterhalb des Altars die Seelen derer, die um des Wortes Gottes und um des Zeugnisses willen, das sie hatten, erschlagen wurden.
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 Und sie schrien mit großer Stimme und sagten: Wie lange, o Herr, Du Heiliger und Wahrhaftiger, richtest Du nicht und rächst unser Blut an den Bewohnern der Erde?
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 Und es ward ihnen, einem jeglichen, weißes Gewand gegeben und ihnen gesagt, sie sollten noch eine kleine Zeit ruhen, bis auch vollzählig würden ihre Mitknechte, und ihre Brüder, die auch wie sie sollten getötet werden.
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
12 Und ich sah, da es das sechste Siegel auftat, und siehe! da ward ein großes Erdbeben, und die Sonne ward schwarz, wie ein härener Sack, und der Mond ward wie Blut,
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 Und die Sterne des Himmels fielen auf die Erde, wie der Feigenbaum seine unreifen Feigen abwirft, wenn er von einem großen Winde geschüttelt wird.
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 Und der Himmel entwich wie ein zusammengerolltes Buch, und jeder Berg und Insel wurden von ihren Orten gerückt.
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 Und die Könige der Erde und die Großen und die Reichen und die Kriegsobersten, und die Mächtigen, und jeder Knecht, und jeder Freie verbargen sich in die Höhlen und in die Felsen der Berge;
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 Und sprachen zu den Bergen und den Felsen: Fallet über uns, und verberget uns vor dem Angesichte Dessen, Der auf dem Throne sitzt, und vor dem Zorne des Lammes!
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 Denn gekommen ist der große Tag Seines Zornes. Und wer kann bestehen?
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
