Psalm 131

1 Jehovah, mein Herz ist nicht hoffärtig, meine Augen sind nicht erhöht, und ich gehe nicht mit Dingen um, die zu groß und wunderbarlich für mich sind.

2 Habe ich nicht meine Seele gesetzt und stille gehalten wie ein von der Mutter Entwöhntes; wie ein Entwöhntes ist bei mir meine Seele.

Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3 Israel warte auf Jehovah von nun an und bis in Ewigkeit.
