Psalm 130

1 Aus den Tiefen rufe ich zu Dir, Jehovah.

A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2 Herr, höre auf meine Stimme, es mögen Deine Ohren aufmerken auf die Stimme meines Flehens.

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 Wenn Du, Jah, Missetaten behältst, wer wird, o Herr, bestehen?

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4 Doch ist bei Dir Vergebung, daß man Dich fürchte.

But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5 Ich hoffe auf Jehovah, meine Seele hofft, und Seines Wortes warte ich.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6 Meine Seele ist auf den Herrn, mehr als die Hüter auf den Morgen.

My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.

7 Warte auf Jehovah, Israel; denn bei Jehovah ist Barmherzigkeit und mit Ihm viel Erlösung.

Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is] mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption.

8 Und Er wird Israel lösen von allen seinen Missetaten.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
