Mica 6
1 Höret doch, was Jehovah spricht: Stehe auf, hadere mit den Bergen, und laß die Hügel deine Stimme hören!
Listen now to what the LORD says: "Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear what you have to say.
2 Höret, ihr Berge, Jehovahs Hader, und ihr starken Grundfesten der Erde; denn Hader hat Jehovah mit Seinem Volk und rügt Israel.
Hear, you mountains, the LORD's controversy, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for the LORD has a controversy with his people, and he will contend with Israel.
3 Mein Volk, was habe Ich dir getan? Womit habe Ich dich ermüdet? antworte wider Mich!
My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me.
4 Daß Ich dich aus dem Lande Ägypten heraufgebracht, und aus dem Haus der Knechte dich habe eingelöst, und Moses, Aharon und Mirjam vor dir hergesandt?
For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage. I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
5 Gedenke doch, Mein Volk, was Balak, Moabs König, beriet, und was ihm Bileam, Beors Sohn, antwortete, von Schittim bis Gilgal; daß man erkenne die Gerechtigkeit Jehovahs.
My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the righteous acts of the LORD."
6 Womit soll ich zuvorkommen dem Jehovah, mich beugen vor dem Gott der Höhe? Soll ich Ihm zuvorkommen mit Brandopfern, mit einjährigen Kälbern?
How shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
7 Hat Jehovah Wohlgefallen an tausenden von Widdern, an zehntausenden von Bächen Öls? Soll meinen Erstgeborenen ich geben für meine Übertretung, für meiner Seele Sünde meines Leibes Frucht?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams? With tens of thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 Er hat dir angesagt, o Mensch, was gut ist. Und was fordert Jehovah von dir, als das Recht zu tun und Barmherzigkeit zu lieben, und in Demut zu wandeln vor deinem Gott.
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the LORD require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
9 Jehovahs Stimme ruft der Stadt, und Weisheit ist es, zu fürchten Deinen Namen. Hört auf den Stab und Ihn, Der ihn bestellt.
The LORD's voice calls to the city, and wisdom sees your name: "Listen to the rod, and he who appointed it.
10 Sind nicht noch im Haus des Ungerechten der Ungerechtigkeit Schätze, und das magere Ephah, das verfluchte?
Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and a short ephah that is accursed?
11 Sollte Ich lautersprechen sie mit der ungerechten Waage und mit dem Beutel, mit Gewichten des Betrugs?
Shall I be pure with dishonest scales, and with a bag of deceitful weights?
12 Wo die Reichen voll sind von Gewalttat, und deren Einwohner Lüge reden, und deren Zunge Trug ist in ihrem Munde?
Her rich men are full of violence, her inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their speech.
13 Und auch Ich bin müde, dich zu schlagen, dich zu verwüsten ob deinen Sünden.
Therefore I also have struck you with a grievous wound. I have made you desolate because of your sins.
14 Du sollst essen und nicht satt werden, und dein Heißhunger wird in deinem Inneren sein. Und was du entrückst, sollst du nicht sichern, und was du sicherst, gebe Ich dem Schwerte.
You shall eat, but not be satisfied. Your humiliation will be in your midst. You will store up, but not save; and that which you save I will give up to the sword.
15 Säen wirst du und nicht ernten, wirst Oliven treten und nicht mit Öl dich salben, und Most und doch nicht Wein trinken!
You will sow, but won't reap. You will tread the olives, but won't anoint yourself with oil; and crush grapes, but won't drink the wine.
16 Und ihr haltet zu Omris Satzungen und allem Tun des Hauses Achab, und wandelt nach ihren Ratschlägen, auf daß Ich euch hingebe der Verwüstung, und die, so in ihr wohnen, dem Gezisch, und ihr die Schmach Meines Volkes tragt.
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab; and you walk in their counsels. Therefore I will make you a desolation, and her inhabitants an object of contempt; and you will bear the scorn of the nations."
