Lukas 6
1 Es geschah aber auf einen Sabbath, den zweiten nach dem ersten, daß Er durch das Saatfeld hindurchging, und Seine Jünger rauften die Ähren aus und aßen sie und zerrieben dieselben mit den Händen.
Now it came to pass for him to be going through the grain fields on a particular sabbath, and his disciples were plucking the ears and were eating, rubbing them in their hands.
2 Etliche aber der Pharisäer sprachen zu ihnen: Was tut ihr, das nicht erlaubt ist, an den Sabbathen zu tun?
But some of the Pharisees said to them, Why do ye what is not permitted to do on the sabbath day?
3 Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Habt ihr nicht auch das gelesen, was David tat, da ihn hungerte und die mit ihm waren.
And having answered them, Jesus said, Have ye not read even this, what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him,
4 Wie er in das Haus Gottes einging und die Schaubrote nahm und aß, und auch denen, die mit ihm waren, gab, die doch niemandem als den Priestern allein erlaubt ist zu essen?
how he entered into the house of God, and took and ate the loaves of the presentation, and also gave to those who were with him, which is not permitted to eat, except the priests alone?
5 Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Des Menschen Sohn ist Herr auch des Sabbaths.
And he said to them, The Son of man is lord also of the sabbath.
6 An einem anderen Sabbath aber geschah, daß Er in die Synagoge einging und lehrte. Und da war ein Mensch, und dessen rechte Hand war verdorrt.
And it also came to pass on another sabbath for him to enter into the synagogue and teach. And a man was there, and his right hand was withered.
7 Die Schriftgelehrten und die Pharisäer aber hielten auf Ihn, ob Er am Sabbathe heilen würde, auf daß sie eine Anklage gegen Ihn fänden.
And the scholars and the Pharisees watched if he would heal on the sabbath, so that they might find an accusation against him.
8 Er aber wußte ihre Gedanken und sprach zu dem Menschen, der die verdorrte Hand hatte: Richte dich auf und stelle dich in die Mitte! Und er stand auf und stand da.
But he knew their thoughts, and he said to the man who had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And having risen, he stood up.
9 Nun sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Ich frage euch: Was ist erlaubt an Sabbathen zu tun, Gutes tun oder Böses tun, das Leben zu retten oder zu verderben?
Then Jesus said to them, I will question you. What? Is it permitted on the sabbath to do good, or to do harm, to save life, or to kill?
10 Und Er blickte auf sie alle umher und sprach zu dem Menschen: Strecke deine Hand aus! Er aber tat also, und seine Hand war wiederhergestellt, gesund, wie die andere.
And having looked around on them all, he said to him, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did, and his hand was restored whole as the other.
11 Sie aber waren ganz von Sinnen, und besprachen sich untereinander, was sie mit Jesus tun wollten.
But they were filled with fury, and deliberated with each other what they might do to Jesus.
12 In diesen Tagen aber geschah es, daß Er auf den Berg hinausging, zu beten; und Er war die ganz Nacht hindurch im Gebete zu Gott.
And he happened in these days to go out onto the mountain to pray, and he was continuing all night in prayer to God.
13 Und da es Tag ward, rief Er Seine Jünger zu Sich und erwählte aus ihnen zwölf, die Er auch Apostel benannte.
And when it became day, he called his disciples, and chose twelve from them, whom he also named apostles:
14 Simon, den Er auch Petrus benannte, und seinen Bruder Andreas, Jakobus und Johannes, Philippus und Bartholomäus;
Simon, whom he also named Peter, and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
15 Matthäus und Thomas, Jakobus, den Sohn des Alphäus, und Simon, den man Zelotes hieß;
Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot,
16 Judas, des Jakobus Sohn, und Judas Iskarioth, der auch zum Verräter wurde.
Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot who also became a traitor.
17 Und mit ihnen stieg Er hinab und stand auf einem ebenen Platz, und ein Gedränge Seiner Jünger und eine große Menge des Volkes aus ganz Judäa und Jerusalem und der Meeresküste von Tyrus und Sidon,
And having come down with them, he stood on a level place. And a company of his disciples, and a large number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the maritime Tyre and Sidon, were those who came to hear him, and to be healed from their diseases,
18 Die gekommen waren, Ihn zu hören und von ihren Krankheiten zu gesunden, und die von unreinen Geistern bedrängt waren, und sie wurden geheilt.
also those who were afflicted with unclean spirits. And they were healed.
19 Und all das Gedränge suchte Ihn zu berühren; denn es ging eine Kraft von Ihm aus und machte alle gesund.
And all the multitude sought to touch him, because power came forth from him, and healed them all.
20 Und Er hob Seine Augen auf über Seine Jünger und sprach: Selig seid ihr Armen; denn das Reich Gottes ist euer.
And having lifted up his eyes on his disciples, he said, Blessed are the poor, because the kingdom of God is what belongs to you.
21 Selig seid ihr, die ihr jetzt hungert; denn ihr sollt gesättigt werden. Selig seid ihr, die ihr jetzt weinet; denn ihr sollt lachen.
Blessed are those who hunger now, because ye will be filled. Blessed are those who weep now, because ye will laugh.
22 Selig seid ihr, wenn euch die Menschen hassen und wenn sie euch von sich ausscheiden und schmähen und euren Namen als übel verwerfen um des Menschen Sohnes willen.
Blessed are ye, when men will hate you, and when they will exclude you, and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, because of the Son of man.
23 Freuet euch am selbigen Tage und hüpfet; denn siehe, eures Lohnes ist viel in dem Himmel; denn also haben ihre Väter den Propheten getan.
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap, for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for their fathers did in the same way to the prophets.
24 Wehe dagegen euch Reichen; denn ihr habt euren Trost dahin.
However, woe to you the rich, because ye have received your consolation.
25 Wehe euch, ihr jetzt völlig Gesättigten; denn ihr werdet hungern. Wehe euch, die ihr jetzt lachet; denn ihr werdet trauern und weinen.
Woe to you who are filled now, because ye will hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, because ye will mourn and weep.
26 Wehe euch, wenn alle Menschen schön von euch sprechen; denn so taten ihre Väter den falschen Propheten.
Woe when men will speak well of you, for their fathers did in the same way to the false prophets.
27 Euch aber sage Ich, die ihr höret: Liebet eure Feinde; tut wohl denen, die euch hassen;
But I say to you, to those who hear, love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you.
28 Segnet, die euch fluchen. Betet für die, so euch beleidigen.
Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who mistreat you.
29 Dem, der dich schlägt auf den Backen, biete den andern auch dar; und dem, der dir das Oberkleid nimmt, wehre auch den Rock nicht!
To him who strikes thee on the cheek offer the other also, and from him who takes away thy cloak, also do not withhold thy coat.
30 Gib jedem, der dich bittet. Und nimmt dir einer das Deine, so fordere es nicht wieder ab.
Give to every man who asks thee, and from him who takes away thy personal things do not demand them back.
31 Und wie ihr wollet, daß euch die Menschen tun, tut auch ihr ihnen desgleichen.
And as ye desire that men would do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32 Und so ihr liebet, die euch lieben, was für Dank habt ihr davon? Denn auch die Sünder lieben die, so sie lieben.
And if ye love those who love you, what credit is for you? For even sinners love those who love them.
33 Und so ihr Gutes tut denen, die euch Gutes tun, was für Dank habt ihr davon? Dasselbe tun ja auch die Sünder.
And if ye do good to those who do good to you, what credit is for you? For even sinners do the same.
34 Und so ihr leihet denen, von denen ihr es wieder zu empfangen hoffet, was für Dank habt ihr? Denn auch die Sünder leihen den Sündern, auf daß sie das gleiche wieder empfangen.
And if ye lend to whom ye hope to receive, what credit is for you? For even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 Liebet vielmehr eure Feinde und tut Gutes und leihet, wo ihr nichts dafür hoffet, und eures Lohnes wird viel sein, und ihr werdet Söhne des Höchsten sein; denn Er ist gütig auch gegen die Undankbaren und Schlechten.
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, despairing nothing, and your reward will be great. And ye will be sons of the Most High, because he is good toward the ungrateful and bad.
36 Darum seid mitleidig, wie auch euer Vater mitleidig ist.
Become ye therefore merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
37 Und richtet nicht, so werdet ihr auch nicht gerichtet. Verurteilt nicht, so werdet ihr auch nicht verurteilt. Erlasset, so wird auch euch erlassen.
And do not criticize, and ye will, no, not be criticized. And do not condemn, and ye will, no, not be condemned. Forgive, and ye will be forgiven.
38 Gebet, so wird euch gegeben. Ein gut, gedrückt und gerüttelt und überflüssig Maß wird man in den Schoß euch geben; denn mit demselben Maß, womit ihr messet, wird man euch wieder messen.
Give, and it will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, they will give into your bosom. For with the same measure with which ye measure, it will be measured again to you.
39 Er sagte ihnen aber ein Gleichnis: Kann auch ein Blinder einem Blinden den Weg weisen? Werden nicht beide in die Grube fallen?
And he spoke a parable to them. Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a ditch?
40 Ein Jünger ist nicht über seinem Lehrer; ist er aber ganz unterrichtet, so wird er sein gleich wie sein Lehrer.
A disciple is not above his teacher, but every disciple who is fully developed will be as his teacher.
41 Was blickst du aber auf den Splitter in deines Bruders Auge, gewahrst aber nicht des Balkens im eigenen Auge?
And why do thou see the speck in thy brother's eye, but do not perceive the beam in thine own eye?
42 Oder wie kannst du zu deinem Bruder sagen: Bruder, laß mich, ich will dir den Splitter in deinem Auge herausziehen, und du erblickst den Balken in deinem Auge nicht? Du Heuchler, ziehe zuvor den Balken aus deinem Auge heraus, und dann wirst du recht sehen, wie du den Splitter aus deines Bruders Auge herausziehst.
Or how can thou say to thy brother, Brother, allow me to take out the speck that is in thine eye, when thou thyself do not see the beam in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first take out the beam from thine own eye, and then thou will see clearly to take out the speck in thy brother's eye.
43 Denn es ist kein guter Baum, der faule Frucht bringt, noch ein fauler Baum, der gute Frucht bringt.
For a good tree is not producing corrupt fruit, nor a corrupt tree producing good fruit.
44 Denn ein jeglicher Baum wird an seiner eigenen Frucht erkannt; denn von Dornen sammelt man nicht Feigen, noch liest man Trauben vom Dornbusch.
For each tree is known from its own fruit. For they do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they harvest grapes from a bramble bush.
45 Der gute Mensch bringt Gutes hervor aus dem guten Schatz seines Herzens, und der schlechte Mensch bringt Schlechtes hervor aus dem schlechten Schatz seines Herzens; denn aus dem Überfließen des Herzens redet der Mensch.
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth the good, and the bad man out of the bad treasure of his heart brings forth the bad, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
46 Was heißet ihr Mich aber: Herr, Herr! und tuet nicht, was Ich sage?
And why do ye call me, Lord, Lord, and not do the things that I say?
47 Wer zu Mir kommt und höret Meine Worte und tut sie, von dem will Ich euch zeigen, wem er ähnlich ist.
Every man who comes to me, and hears my sayings, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like.
48 Er ist ähnlich einem Menschen, der ein Haus baute, der ausgrub und tief ging und legte den Grund auf den Felsen. Da aber eine Überschwemmung ward und der Strom sich an selbigem Hause brach, vermochte er es nicht zu erschüttern; denn es war auf den Felsen gegründet.
He is like a man who builds a house, who dug and excavated, and laid a foundation upon the rock. And when a flood developed, the stream beat upon that house, and could not shake it, for it had been founded upon the rock.
49 Wer aber hört und nicht tut, der ist ähnlich einem Menschen, der sein Haus ohne Grund auf die Erde baute. An ihm brach sich der Strom, und es fiel alsobald, und der Bruch selbigen Hauses ward groß.
But he who heard, and not having done, is like a man who built a house upon the soil without a foundation, on which the stream beat, and straightaway it fell. And the ruin of that house became great.
