Lukas 22
1 Es nahte aber das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote, genannt das Pascha.
Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
2 Und die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten trachteten danach, wie sie Ihn umbrächten; denn sie fürchteten sich vor dem Volk.
And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
3 Es fuhr aber der Satan ein in Judas, der Iskariot hieß, der aus der Zahl der Zwölfe war.
Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
4 Und er ging hin und unterredete sich mit den Hohenpriestern und den Hauptleuten, wie er Ihn ihnen überantworten wollte.
And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
5 Und sie freuten sich und kamen überein, ihm Silber zu geben.
And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
6 Und er sagte zu und suchte eine gute Gelegenheit, Ihn ohne Gedränge zu überantworten.
And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
7 Es kam aber der Tag der ungesäuerten Brote, an dem das Pascha geschlachtet werden sollte.
Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
8 Und Er sandte Petrus und Johannes und sprach: Ziehet hin, bereitet uns das Pascha, auf daß wir es essen.
And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
9 Sie aber sagten zu Ihm: Wo willst Du, daß wir es bereiten?
And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10 Er aber sagte zu ihnen: Siehe, wenn ihr in die Stadt hineinkommt, wird euch ein Mensch begegnen, der einen Krug mit Wasser trägt. Dem folgt nach in das Haus, da er hineingeht.
And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11 Und ihr sollt dem Hausherrn des Hauses sagen: Der Lehrer läßt dir sagen: Wo ist die Herberge, da Ich mit Meinen Jüngern das Pascha essen kann?
And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12 Und er wird euch einen großen bepolsterten Obersaal zeigen. Dort bereitet es!
And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
13 Sie aber gingen hin und fanden es, wie Er ihnen gesagt hatte, und bereiteten das Pascha.
And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
14 Und da die Stunde kam, ließ Er Sich nieder und mit Ihm die zwölf Apostel.
And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15 Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Mit Verlangen habe Ich begehrt, dies Pascha mit euch zu essen, ehe denn Ich leide.
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16 Denn Ich sage euch, daß Ich nicht mehr davon essen werde, bis es erfüllt wird im Reiche Gottes.
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 Und Er empfing den Kelch, dankte und sprach: Nehmet dies und verteilet es unter euch.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide [it] among yourselves:
18 Denn Ich sage euch, daß Ich von dem Gewächse des Weinstocks nicht mehr trinken werde, bis das Reich Gottes komme.
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 Und Er nahm Brot, dankte, brach es und gab es ihnen und sprach: Dies ist Mein Leib, der für euch gegeben wird, das tut zu Meinem Gedächtnisse.
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Desselbigen gleichen auch den Kelch, nach dem Abendmahl, und sprach: Dieser Kelch ist der neue Bund in Meinem Blute, das für euch vergossen wird.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
21 Doch siehe, die Hand dessen, der Mich verrät, ist mit Mir über Tisch.
But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me [is] with me on the table.
22 Und zwar geht des Menschen Sohn hin, wie es bestimmt ist; doch wehe demselbigen Menschen, durch den Er verraten wird.
And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
23 Sie aber fingen an, untereinander sich zu befragen, wer es wohl wäre unter ihnen, der solches tun würde?
And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24 Es ward aber auch ein Wettstreit unter ihnen, welcher von ihnen für den Größten zu halten wäre.
And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
25 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Die Könige der Völkerschaften herrschen über sie, und die Gewalt haben über sie, heißen sie Wohltäter.
And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
26 Ihr aber nicht also; sondern der Größte unter euch werde wie der Jüngste; und der Leiter wie der Diener.
But ye [shall] not [be] so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27 Denn welcher ist der größere? der zu Tische liegt, oder der bedient? Ist es nicht der, so zu Tische liegt? Ich aber bin in eurer Mitte, wie einer, der dient.
For whether [is] greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? [is] not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
28 Ihr aber seid es, die in Meinen Versuchungen bei Mir geblieben seid.
Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
29 Und so bescheide Ich euch das Reich, wie Mir es Mein Vater beschieden hat.
And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 Daß ihr essen und trinken sollt an Meinem Tisch in Meinem Reich, und sitzen auf Thronen und richten die zwölf Stämme Israels.
That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 Der Herr aber sprach: Simon, Simon, siehe, der Satan hat sich auch ausgebeten, um euch zu sichten, wie den Weizen.
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired [to have] you, that he may sift [you] as wheat:
32 Ich aber habe für dich gefleht, damit dein Glaube nicht zu Ende gehe; und wenn du dereinst dich bekehrst, so festige du deine Brüder.
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 Er aber sprach zu Ihm: Herr, ich bin bereit, mit Dir ins Gefängnis und in den Tod zu gehen.
And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34 Er aber sprach: Ich sage dir, Petrus, der Hahn wird heute nicht krähen, ehe denn du dreimal verleugnet hast, daß du Mich kennst.
And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
35 Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Wenn Ich euch aussandte ohne Beutel und Tasche und Schuhe, hat euch je etwas gemangelt? Sie aber sprachen: Nichts.
And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 Da sprach Er zu ihnen: Nun aber, wer einen Beutel hat, der nehme ihn, desgleichen auch die Tasche. Und wer keine hat, der verkaufe sein Kleid und kaufe ein Schwert.
Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take [it], and likewise [his] scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
37 Denn Ich sage euch: Es muß auch das noch an Mir vollendet werden, das geschrieben steht: Und Er ist unter die Missetäter gerechnet! Denn das, was Mich angeht, hat ein Ende.
For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
38 Sie sprachen aber: Herr, siehe, hier sind zwei Schwerter. Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Es ist genug!
And they said, Lord, behold, here [are] two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
39 Und Er ging hinaus und nach Seiner Gewohnheit ging Er hin an den Ölberg; es folgten Ihm aber auch Seine Jünger nach.
And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
40 Als Er aber an den Ort kam, sprach Er zu ihnen: Betet, daß ihr nicht in Versuchung kommt.
And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41 Und Er riß Sich los von ihnen bei einem Steinwurf, fiel auf die Knie und betete.
And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 Und Er sprach: Vater, bist Du willens, so laß diesen Kelch an Mir vorübergehen! Doch nicht Mein Wille, sondern der Deinige geschehe!
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 Es erschien Ihm aber ein Engel vom Himmel und stärkte Ihn.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 Und es geschah, daß Er mit dem Tode rang, und betete insbrünstiger. Sein Schweiß aber ward wie Blutstropfen, die zur Erde hinabfallen.
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45 Und Er stand auf vom Gebet und kam zu Seinen Jüngern und fand sie schlummernd vor Betrübnis.
And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,
46 Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Was schlummert ihr? Steht auf und betet, auf daß ihr nicht in Versuchung kommt.
And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
47 Da Er aber noch redete, siehe, da kam ein Gedränge, und einer von den Zwölfen, Judas genannt, ging vor ihnen her und nahte sich Jesus, Ihn zu küssen.
And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
48 Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Judas, verrätst du des Menschen Sohn mit einem Kuß?
But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
49 Da aber die, so um Ihn waren, sahen, was da werden wollte, sprachen sie zu Ihm: Herr, sollen wir mit dem Schwert dreinschlagen?
When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
50 Und einer von ihnen schlug des Hohenpriesters Knecht und hieb ihm das rechte Ohr ab.
And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51 Jesus aber antwortete und sprach: Lasset es so weit sein! Und Er berührte sein Ohr und heilte ihn.
And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
52 Jesus aber sprach zu den Hohenpriestern und den Hauptleuten des Heiligtums und den Ältesten, die über Ihn hergekommen waren: Wie gegen einen Räuber seid ihr mit Schwertern und Knitteln ausgezogen.
Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
53 Täglich war Ich bei euch im Heiligtum, und ihr habt keine Hand gegen Mich ausgereckt. Aber dies ist eure Stunde und die Gewalt der Finsternis.
When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54 Sie nahmen Ihn aber und führten Ihn und brachten Ihn in das Haus des Hohenpriesters hinein. Petrus aber folgte nach von weitem.
Then took they him, and led [him], and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.
55 Sie hatten aber mitten im Hof ein Feuer angezündet, und setzten sich zusammen, und Petrus setzte sich in ihre Mitte.
And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 Als ihn aber eine Magd beim Lichte sitzen sah, sah sie ihn fest an und sprach: Dieser war auch mit Ihm!
But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57 Er aber verleugnete Ihn und sprach: Weib, ich kenne Ihn nicht.
And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 Und nach einer Weile sah ihn ein anderer und sagte: Auch du bist einer von ihnen! Petrus aber sprach: Mensch, ich bin es nicht.
And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 Und nach Verlauf von etwa einer Stunde bekräftigte es ein anderer und sprach: Wahrhaftig, der da ist auch mit Ihm gewesen; denn er ist ja auch ein Galiläer.
And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this [fellow] also was with him: for he is a Galilæan.
60 Petrus aber sprach: Mensch, ich weiß nicht, was du sagst. Und sogleich, da er noch redete, krähte der Hahn.
And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
61 Und der Herr wandte Sich und blickte Petrus an, und Petrus gedachte an das Wort des Herrn, als Er zu ihm gesprochen: Ehe der Hahn kräht, wirst du Mich dreimal verleugnen.
And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
62 Und Petrus ging hinaus und weinte bitterlich.
And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
63 Und die Männer, die Jesus festhielten, verspotteten und stäupten Ihn;
And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote [him].
64 Und sie umhüllten Ihn, schlugen Ihn ins Angesicht, und fragten ihn und sagten: Weissage, wer ist es, der Dich schlug?
And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?
65 Und vieles andere sprachen sie lästernd wider Ihn.
And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.
66 Und als es Tag ward, versammelten sich die Ältesten des Volkes, die Hohenpriester und Schriftgelehrten, führten Ihn hinauf in ihren Rat,
And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
67 Und sprachen: Bist Du Christus, so sage es uns! Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Sage Ich es euch, so glaubet ihr nicht;
Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
68 Wenn Ich euch auch fragte, so würdet ihr Mir nicht antworten, noch Mich losgeben.
And if I also ask [you], ye will not answer me, nor let [me] go.
69 Von nun wird des Menschen Sohn sitzen zur Rechten der Kraft Gottes.
Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.
70 Sie aber sprachen alle: So bist Du den Gottes Sohn? Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ihr sagt es; denn Ich bin.
Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
71 Sie aber sprachen: Was bedürfen wir weiter Zeugnis? Denn wir selbst haben es aus Seinem Mund gehört!
And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
