Lukas 21
1 Als Er aber aufblickte, sah Er, wie die Reichen ihre Gaben in den Schatzkasten einlegten.
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 Er sah aber auch eine dürftige Witwe, die legte zwei Scherflein ein.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 Und Er sprach: Wahrlich, Ich sage euch, diese arme Witwe hat mehr denn alle eingelegt.
And he said, Truthfully I say unto you, that this poor widow has cast in more than they all:
4 Denn diese alle haben von ihrem Überflusse zu den Gaben Gottes eingelegt. Sie aber hat von ihrem Mangel allen ihren Unterhalt, den sie hatte, eingelegt.
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her destitution has cast in all the living that she had.
5 Und als einige vom Heiligtum sagten, daß es mit schönen Steinen und Weihgeschenken geschmückt wäre, sprach Er:
And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 Was ihr schaut: Da werden Tage kommen, in denen nicht Stein auf Stein gelassen wird, der nicht niedergerissen würde.
As for these things which all of you behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 Sie fragten Ihn aber und sagten: Lehrer, wann wird dies nun sein? Und welches ist das Zeichen, wann das geschehen wird?
And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 Er aber sprach: Seht zu, daß ihr nicht irre geführt werdet; denn viele werden kommen auf Meinen Namen und sprechen: Ich bin es, und die bestimmte Zeit hat sich genaht. Geht ihnen nicht nach!
And he said, Take heed that all of you be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: go all of you not therefore after them.
9 Wenn ihr aber von Kriegen und Zerrüttungen hört, so erschreckt nicht; denn solches muß erst geschehen; aber das Ende ist nicht alsbald da.
But when all of you shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Dann sprach Er zu ihnen: Völkerschaft wird wider Völkerschaft und Reich wider Reich auftreten.
Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 Große Erdbeben an Orten und Teuerungen und Pestilenzen werden sein, und große Schrecknisse und Zeichen vom Himmel geschehen.
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 Vor alle dem aber werden sie ihre Hände an euch legen, und euch verfolgen, indem sie euch an Synagogen und in Gefängnisse überantworten, und ihr vor Könige und Landpfleger geführt werdet um Meines Namens willen.
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 Es wird aber euch zu einem Zeugnisse geraten,
And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Nehmt es euch nun zu Herzen, daß ihr nicht voraussorgt, wie ihr euch verantworten möget.
Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what all of you shall answer:
15 Denn Ich will euch Mund und Weisheit geben, der alle eure Widersacher nicht werden widersprechen, noch widerstehen können.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 Ihr werdet aber auch überantwortet werden von Eltern und Brüdern, und Verwandten und Freunden, und sie werden euer etliche zum Tode bringen.
And all of you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 Und ihr werdet gehaßt werden von allen um Meines Namens willen.
And all of you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 Und kein Haar von eurem Haupte soll verloren gehen.
But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In eurer Geduld besitzt ihr eure Seelen.
In your patience possess all of you your souls.
20 Wenn ihr aber Jerusalem von Heerlagern umringt seht, dann erkennt, daß seine Verwüstung sich genaht hat.
And when all of you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Dann sollen die, so in Judäa sind, fliehen auf die Berge, und die mitten darin sind, entweichen von dannen; und die in den Landschaften sind, gehen nicht hinein!
Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter therein.
22 Denn das sind die Tage der Rache, auf daß erfüllt werde alles, was geschrieben ist.
For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 Wehe aber den Schwangeren und den Säugenden in jenen Tagen! denn große Not wird sein auf Erden, und Zorn wider dieses Volk.
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 Und durch des Schwertes Schärfe werden sie fallen und gefangen geführt unter alle Völkerschaften, und zertreten werden wird Jerusalem von den Völkerschaften, bis auch der Völkerschaften bestimmte Zeiten erfüllt werden.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 Und es werden Zeichen sein in Sonne und Mond und Sternen und auf Erden wird sein Bedrängnis der Völkerschaften mit Verzweiflung ob des brausenden Meeres und den Wogen.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Die Menschen werden entseelt vor Furcht und Erwartung der Dinge, die da über den Erdkreis kommen werden; denn der Himmel Kräfte werden erschüttert werden.
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 Und dann werden sie des Menschen Sohn kommen sehen in einer Wolke mit Kraft und großer Herrlichkeit.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Wenn dies anfängt zu geschehen, so richtet euch auf und erhebet eure Häupter, denn eure Erlösung naht.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh.
29 Und Er sagte ihnen eine Gleichnis: Seht den Feigenbaum und alle Bäume.
And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 Wenn sie jetzt hervorknospen, seht ihr von euch selber und erkennt, daß bereits der Sommer nahe ist.
When they now shoot forth, all of you see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So auch ihr: Wenn ihr seht, daß dies geschieht, so erkennt, daß das Reich Gottes nahe ist.
So likewise all of you, when all of you see these things come to pass, know all of you that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Wahrlich, Ich sage euch: Dieses Geschlecht wird nicht vergehen, bis alles dies geschieht.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Himmel und Erde werden vergehen, aber Meine Worte werden nicht vergehen.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words (logos) shall not pass away.
34 Aber habt Acht auf euch, daß eure Herzen nicht beschwert werden mit Völlerei und Trunkenheit und Sorgen um den Unterhalt, und jener Tag nicht plötzlich dastehe über euch!
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with worldly excess, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unexpectedly.
35 Denn wie ein Fallstrick wird er über alle kommen, die auf dem Angesicht der ganzen Erde wohnen.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 So wachet denn alle Zeit, und flehet, daß ihr gewürdigt werdet, diesem allem, das da geschehen soll, zu entfliehen und zu stehen vor des Menschen Sohn.
Watch all of you therefore, and pray always, that all of you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 Er war aber die Tage über im Heiligtum und lehrte, nachts aber ging Er hinaus und übernachtete auf dem Berge, so man den Ölberg heißt.
And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 Und alles Volk kam frühe zu Ihm ins Heiligtum, um Ihn zu hören.
And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, in order to hear him.
