Jeremia 44
1 Das Wort, das an Jirmejahu geschah, über alle Juden, so im Lande Ägypten wohnen, die so in Migdol und in Thachpanches und in Noph und im Lande Pathros wohnen, sprechend:
The worde that came to Ieremiah concerning all the Iewes, which dwell in the lande of Egypt, and remained at Migdol and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the coutry of Pathros, saying,
2 So spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Ihr habt gesehen all das Böse, das Ich über Jerusalem und über alle Städte Jehudahs kommen ließ und seht, eine Öde sind sie dieses Tages und niemand wohnt darin;
Thus sayeth the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Yee haue seene all the euill that I haue brought vpon Ierusalem, and vpon all the cities of Iudah: and beholde, this day they are desolate, and no man dwelleth therein,
3 Ob ihrer Bosheit, die sie taten, daß sie Mich reizten, daß sie hingingen zu räuchern, zu dienen anderen Göttern, die sie nicht kannten, weder sie, noch ihr, noch eure Väter.
Because of their wickednes which they haue comitted, to prouoke me to anger in that they went to burne incense, and to serue other gods, who they knew not, neither they nor you nor your fathers.
4 Und Ich sandte zu euch alle Meine Knechte, die Propheten, fing früh an und sandte sie und sprach: Tut doch solchen Greuel nicht, den Ich hasse.
Howbeit I sent vnto you all my seruats the Prophets rising earely, and sending them, saying, Oh doe not this abominable thing that I hate.
5 Aber sie hörten nicht und sie neigten nicht ihr Ohr, daß sie umkehrten von ihrer Bosheit, daß sie anderen Göttern nicht räucherten.
But they would not heare nor incline their eare to turne from their wickednes, and to burne no more incense vnto other gods.
6 Und es ergoß sich Mein Grimm und Mein Zorn und brannte in den Städten Jehudahs und in den Gassen Jerusalems, und sie wurden zur Öde, zur Verwüstung, wie an diesem Tag.
Wherefore my wrath, and mine anger was powred foorth and was kindled in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, and they are desolate, and wasted, as appeareth this day.
7 Und nun spricht also Jehovah, der Gott der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Warum tut ihr großes Böse wider eure Seelen, daß ihr für euch ausrottet, Mann und Weib, Kindlein und Säugling, aus Jehudahs Mitte, daß euch kein Überrest mehr übrigbleibt?
Therefore now thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel, Wherfore commit ye this great euill against your soules, to cut off from you man and woman, childe and suckling out of Iudah, and leaue you none to remaine?
8 Daß ihr Mich reizet durch eurer Hände Werk, da ihr anderen Göttern räuchert im Lande Ägypten, in das ihr kamt, um allda zu weilen, daß ihr euch ausrottet, und daß ihr zum Fluch und zur Schmach unter allen Völkerschaften der Erde werdet?
In that yee prouoke mee vnto wrath with the woorkes of your hands, burning incense vnto other Gods in the lande of Egypt whither yee be gone to dwell: that yee might bring destruction vnto your selues, and that ye might be a curse and a reproch among all nations of the earth.
9 Habt ihr vergessen die Bosheiten eurer Väter, und die Bosheiten der Könige Jehudahs, und die Bosheiten ihrer Weiber und eure Bosheiten, und die Bosheiten eurer Weiber, die sie im Lande Jehudahs taten, und auf den Gassen Jerusalems?
Haue yee forgotten the wickednes of your fathers, and the wickednesse of the Kings of Iudah and the wickednesse of their wiues and your owne wickednes and the wickednes of your wiues, which they haue committed in the land of Iudah and in the streetes of Ierusalem?
10 Noch sind sie nicht zerknirscht bis auf diesen Tag, und fürchten sich nicht und wandeln nicht in Meinem Gesetz und in Meinen Satzungen, die Ich vor euch und eure Väter gegeben habe!
They are not humbled vnto this day, neither haue they feared nor walked in my lawe nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
11 Darum, so spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Siehe, Ich setze Mein Angesicht wieder euch zum Bösen, und zur Ausrottung von ganz Jehudah.
Therefore thus sayeth the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Beholde, I will set my face against you to euill and to destroy all Iudah,
12 Und Ich werde den Überrest von Jehudah nehmen, die, so ihr Angesicht gesetzt haben in das Land Ägypten einzuziehen, da zu weilen; sie alle sollen umkommen im Lande Ägypten, sie sollen fallen durch das Schwert und durch Hunger umkommen, vom Kleinen bis zum Großen. Durch das Schwert und durch Hunger sollen sie sterben und zur Verwünschung, zum Erstaunen und zum Fluch und zur Schmach werden.
And I will take the remnant of Iudah, that haue set their faces to goe into the lande of Egypt there to dwell, and they shall all bee consumed and fall in the lande of Egypt: they shall euen bee consumed by the sworde and by the famine: they shall die from the least vnto the most, by the sworde, and by the famine, and they shall be a detestation and an astonishment and a curse and a reproche.
13 Und die so im Lande Ägypten wohnen, will Ich heimsuchen, wie Ich Jerusalem durch das Schwert, durch Hunger und durch Pest habe heimgesucht.
For I will visite them that dwel in the land of Egypt, as I haue visited Ierusalem, by ye sworde, by the famine, and by the pestilence,
14 Und soll kein Entkommen noch Rest sein für den Überrest Jehudahs, die gekommen sind, dort im Land Ägypten zu weilen, und um in das Land Jehudah zurückzukehren, wohin sie ihre Seele erhoben, dahin zurückzukehren, um allda zu wohnen; denn sie werden nicht zurückkehren, es sei denn die Entkommenen.
So that none of the remnant of Iudah, which are gone into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shall escape or remaine, that they shoulde returne into the land of Iudah to the which they haue a desire to returne to dwell there: for none shall returne, but such as shall escape.
15 Und es antworteten dem Jirmejahu alle Männer, die da wußten, daß ihre Weiber anderen Göttern räucherten und alle Weiber, die in großer Versammlung standen, und alles Volk, die, so im Land Ägypten, in Pathros wohnten und sprachen:
Then all the men which knewe that their wiues had burnt incense vnto other gods and all the women that stoode by, a great multitude, euen all the people that dwelt in the lande of Egypt in Pathros, answered Ieremiah, saying,
16 Das Wort, das du zu uns im Namen Jehovahs geredet hast, darin hören wir nicht auf dich.
The worde that thou hast spoken vnto vs in the Name of the Lord, wee will not heare it of thee,
17 Sondern lasset uns tun jedes Wort, das aus unserem Munde ausging, der Königin der Himmel räuchern und ihr Trankopfer ausgießen, wie wir getan, wir und unsere Väter, unsere Könige und unsere Obersten in Jehudahs Städten und in den Gassen Jerusalems. Und wir wurden satt am Brot und hatten es gut und sahen nichts Böses.
But wee will doe whatsoeuer thing goeth out of our owne mouth, as to burne incense vnto the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings vnto her, as we haue done, both we and our fathers, our Kings and our princes in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem: for then had wee plentie of vitailes and were well and felt none euill.
18 Und seit wir aufhörten, der Königin der Himmel zu räuchern und ihr Trankopfer auszugießen, mangelt es uns an allem, und wir kamen um durch das Schwert und durch den Hunger.
But since wee left off to burne incense to the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings vnto her, we haue had scarcenesse of all things, and haue beene consumed by the sworde and by the famine.
19 Und wenn wir der Königin der Himmel räuchern und ihr Trankopfer ausgießen, machen wir ihr ohne unsere Männer Kuchen, sie zu verehren, und gießen ihr Trankopfer aus.
And when we burnt incense to ye Queene of heauen, and powred out drinke offerings vnto her, did wee make her cakes to make her glad, and powre out drinke offerings vnto her without our husbands?
20 Und Jirmejahu sprach zum ganzen Volke, zu den Männern und zu den Weibern und zu allem Volke, zu denen, die ihm das Wort antworteten, sprechend:
Then said Ieremiah vnto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had giuen him that answere, saying,
21 Hat nicht eurer Räucherungen, mit denen ihr in Jehudahs Städten und in den Gassen Jerusalems, ihr und eure Väter, eure Könige und eure Obersten und das Volk des Landes räucherten, hat nicht ihrer Jehovah gedacht, und stieg es nicht auf in Sein Herz?
Did not the Lord remember the incense, that yee burnt in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, both you, and your fathers, your Kinges, and your princes, and the people of the land, and hath he not considered it?
22 Und Jehovah vermochte es nicht mehr zu tragen vor der Bosheit eurer Handlungen, vor den Greueln, die ihr tatet, so daß euer Land zur Öde und zum Erstaunen und zum Fluche ward, daß niemand wohnt darin, wie an diesem Tag?
So that the Lord could no longer forbeare, because of the wickednes of your inuentions, and because of the abominations, which ye haue committed: therefore is your lande desolate and an astonishment, and a curse and without inhabitant, as appeareth this day.
23 Davor, daß ihr geräuchert und daß ihr wider Jehovah gesündigt und auf Jehovahs Stimme nicht gehört habt, und in Seinem Gesetz und in Seinen Satzungen und in Seinen Zeugnissen nicht wandeltet, darum ist euch dieses Böse begegnet, wie an diesem Tage.
Because ye haue burnt incense and because ye haue sinned against the Lord, and haue not obeyed the voyce of the Lord, nor walked in his Lawe, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies, therefore this plague is come vpon you, as appeareth this day.
24 Und Jirmejahu sprach zu allem Volk und zu allen Weibern: Hört das Wort Jehovahs, ganz Jehudah, die ihr im Land Ägypten seid.
Moreouer Ieremiah saide vnto all the people and to all the women, Heare the word of the Lord, all Iudah that are in the land of Egypt.
25 So spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels, sprechend: Ihr und eure Weiber habt mit eurem Mund geredet und erfüllt mit euren Händen was ihr sprachet: Wir wollen nach unseren Gelübden, die wir gelobt, tun, daß wir räuchern der Königin der Himmel und ihr Trankopfer ausgießen. Bestätigt eure Gelübde und tut eure Gelübde!
Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Ye and your wiues haue both spoken with your mouthes, and fulfilled with your hande, saying, We will performe our vowes that we haue vowed to burne incense to the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings to her: yee will perfourme your vowes and doe the things that yee haue vowed.
26 Darum höret das Wort Jehovahs, ganz Jehudah, die ihr im Land Ägypten wohnt: Siehe, Ich schwöre es bei Meinem großen Namen, spricht Jehovah: Nie mehr soll Mein Name angerufen werden mit dem Munde irgendeines Mannes aus Jehudah, daß er spreche: Es lebt der Herr Jehovah! im ganzen Land Ägypten.
Therefore heare the word of the Lord, all Iudah that dwel in the land of Egypt. Beholde, I haue sworne by my great Name, sayeth the Lord, that my Name shall no more be called vpon by the mouth of any man of Iudah, in all the lande of Egypt, saying, The Lord God liueth.
27 Siehe, Ich wache über sie zum Bösen und nicht zum Guten, daß jeder Mann aus Jehudah im Land Ägypten umkomme, durch das Schwert und durch den Hunger, bis sie alle sind.
Behold, I wil watch ouer them for euil and not for good, and all men of Iudah that are in the land of Egypt, shalbe consumed by the sword, and by the famine, vntill they be vtterly destroied.
28 Und die dem Schwert entkommen, werden aus dem Lande Ägypten in das Land Jehudah zurückkommen, in geringer Zahl; und wird erkennen aller Überrest Jehudahs, so zum Lande Ägypten gekommen war, dort zu weilen, wessen Wort besteht, das von Mir oder das ihrige.
Yet a small nomber that escape the sworde, shall returne out of the lande of Egypt into the lande of Iudah: and all the remnant of Iudah that are gone into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose words shall stad, mine or theirs.
29 Und dies sei euch das Zeichen, spricht Jehovah, daß Ich euch heimsuche an diesem Ort, auf daß ihr erkennt, daß Ich Meine Worte über euch bestätige zum Bösen.
And this shall be a signe vnto you, saith the Lord, whe I visit you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for euill.
30 So spricht Jehovah: Siehe, Ich gebe den Pharao Chophra, Ägyptens König, in seiner Feinde Hand und in die Hand derer, die ihm nach der Seele trachten, wie Ich Zidkijahu, Jehudahs König, gab in die Hand Nebuchadrezzars, des Königs von Babel, seines Feindes, und dessen, der ihm nach der Seele trachtete.
Thus sayth the Lord, Beholde, I will giue Pharaoh Hophra King of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seeke his life: as I gaue Zedekiah King of Iudah into the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel his enemie, who also sought his life.
