Jesaja 57
1 Der Gerechte vergeht, und niemand ist, der es sich zu Herzen nehme, und Männer der Heiligkeit werden weggerafft, ohne daß man einsieht, daß vor dem Bösen der Gerechte wird hingerafft.
The righteous perish, but no one considers it, and the people of covenant faithfulness are gathered away, but no one understands that the righteous is gathered away from the evil.
2 Es geht ein im Frieden, es ruht auf seinem Lager, wer geradeaus wandelt.
He enters into peace; they rest in their beds, those who walk in their uprightness.
3 Und ihr, nahet euch hierher, ihr Söhne der Zeichendeuterin, ihr Same des Ehebrechers und ihrer, die gebuhlt.
But come here, you sons of the sorceress, children of the adulterer and the woman who has prostituted herself.
4 An wem labet ihr euch? Ob wem sperrt ihr weit auf den Mund, recket lang die Zunge aus? Seid ihr nicht Kinder der Übertretung, der Lüge Samen?
Whom are you merrily mocking? Against whom are you opening the mouth and sticking out the tongue? Are you not children of rebellion, children of deceit?
5 Die ihr euch erhitzt für die Götzen unter jedem grünen Baum, die ihr schlachtet die Kinder in die Bäche unter den Klüften der Felsenklippen.
You heat yourselves up sleeping together under the oaks, under every green tree, you who kill your children in the dry riverbeds, under the rocky overhangs.
6 Im Glatten des Bachtales ist dein Teil, sie, sie sind dein Los, auch hast du ihnen ein Trankopfer ausgegossen und ein Speiseopfer dargebracht. Soll Ich Mich dessen trösten?
Among the smooth things of the river valley are the things that have been assigned to you. They are the object of your devotion. You pour out your drink offering to them and raise up a grain offering. In these things should I take pleasure?
7 Auf hohem und erhabenem Berg setzest du dein Lager, auch steigst du dort hinauf ein Schlachtopfer zu opfern.
You prepared your bed on a high mountain; you also went up there to offer sacrifices.
8 Und hinter Tür und Pfosten setzest du dein Andenken. Denn hinweg von Mir deckst du dich auf und steigst hinauf, du machst dein Lager weit, und schließest ab mit ihnen, deren Lager du liebst, so du eine Hand erschaust.
Behind the door and the doorposts you set up your symbols; you deserted me, made yourselves naked, and went up; you made your bed wide. You made a covenant with them; you loved their beds; you saw their private parts.
9 Du bringst eine Spende dem König in Öl und mehrst deine Würzen, und sendest deine Botschafter in die Ferne und erniedrigst dich zur Hölle. (Sheol h7585)
You went to Molech with oil; you multiplied perfumes. You send your ambassadors far away; you went down to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
10 Du bist ermüdet von deinem vielen Wege; du sprichst nicht: Es ist verzweifelt. Du findest das Leben deiner Hand, darum erkrankst du nicht.
You were tired from your long journey, but you never said, “It is hopeless.” You found life in your hand; therefore you did not weaken.
11 Und vor wem bist du besorgt und fürchtest du dich, daß du falsch bist? Und du gedenkst Meiner nicht, du nimmst dir es nicht zu Herzen. Ich schweige, und von Ewigkeit her, und Mich fürchtest du nicht.
“Whom are you worried about? Whom do you fear so much that has caused you to act so deceitfully, so much that you would not remember me or think about me? Because I was silent for so long, you are no longer afraid of me.
12 Ich will deine Gerechtigkeit ansagen und deine Gemächte, sie werden dich nichts nützen.
I will proclaim all your righteous acts and tell all that you have done, but they will not help you.
13 Wenn du schreist, werden deine Zusammengekommenen dich erretten? Sie alle erhebt ein Wind und nimmt fort ein Hauch. Wer aber auf Mich sich verläßt, der erbt das Land, und besitzt erblich den Berg Meiner Heiligkeit.
When you cry out, let your collection of idols rescue you. Instead the wind will carry them all away, a breath will carry them all away. Yet he who takes refuge in me will inherit the land and will take possession of my holy mountain.
14 Und Er spricht: Bahnet, bahnet, räumt den Weg, hebt weg allen Anstoß aus dem Wege Meines Volkes.
He will say, 'Build, build! Clear a way! Remove all the stumbling blocks from the path of my people!'”
15 Denn also spricht der Hohe und Erhabene, Der wohnt immerfort, und der Heilige ist Sein Name: Hoch und heilig wohne Ich und bei dem zerknirschten und erniedrigten Geiste, daß Ich belebe den Geist der Niedrigen und belebe das Herz der Zerknirschten.
For this is what the high and elevated One says, who lives eternally, whose name is holy, “I live in the exalted and holy place, with him also that is of a crushed and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble ones, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 Denn Ich will nicht ewiglich hadern und nicht entrüstet sein immerdar. Denn der Geist könnte vor Mir verzagen, und die Atmenden habe Ich gemacht.
For I will not accuse forever, nor will I be angry forever, for then man's spirit would faint before me, the lives that I have made.
17 Ob der Missetat seiner Gewinnsucht war Ich entrüstet, und schlug ihn, verbarg Mich und war entrüstet; er aber ging abwendig auf dem Wege seines Herzens.
Because of the sin of his violent gain, I was angry, and I punished him; I hid my face and was angry, but he went backward in the way of his heart.
18 Ich sah seine Wege und heilte ihn, und führte ihn und gewährte Tröstungen ihm und seinen Trauernden.
I have seen his ways, but I will heal him. I will lead him and comfort and console those who mourn for him,
19 Ich schaffe Frucht der Lippen. Friede, Friede dem Fernen und dem Nahen, spricht Jehovah, und Ich heile ihn.
and I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to those who are far off and to those who are near—says Yahweh—I will heal them.
20 Aber die Ungerechten sind wie ein aufgewühltes Meer, das sich zu beruhigen nicht vermag, und seine Wasser wühlen Schmutz und Kot auf.
But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, and its waters churn up mire and mud.
21 Die Ungerechten haben keinen Frieden, spricht mein Gott.
There is no peace for the wicked one—says God.”
