Apostelgeschichte 2
1 Und als der Tag der Pfingsten erfüllt ward, waren sie alle einmütig beisammen.
And in the day of the Pentecost being fulfilled, they were all with one accord at the same place,
2 Da geschah plötzlich ein Brausen vom Himmel wie eines gewaltig daherfahrenden Windes, und erfüllte das ganze Haus, wo sie saßen.
and there came suddenly out of the sky a sound as of a violent rushing wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting,
3 Und es erschienen ihnen Zungen wie Feuer, die sich verteilten, und er setzte sich auf jeden von ihnen, und alle wurden vom Heiligen Geiste erfüllt.
and there appeared to them divided tongues, as it were of fire; it also sat on each one of them,
4 Und fingen an mit anderen Zungen zu reden, je nachdem der Geist sie antrieb zu sprechen.
and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, according as the Spirit was giving them to declare.
5 Es hielten sich aber Juden in Jerusalem auf, gottesfürchtige Männer aus allerlei Volk, das unter dem Himmel ist.
And there were Jews dwelling in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation of those under the heaven,
6 Als nun dieses Sausen geschah, kam die Menge zusammen und sie waren erstaunt, da jeder sie seine eigene Mundart sprechen hörte.
and the rumor of this having come, the multitude came together, and was confounded, because they were, each one, hearing them speaking in his proper dialect,
7 Und sie entsetzten sich alle und fragten einander verwundert: Siehe, sind nicht alle, die da sprechen, Galiläer?
and they were all amazed, and wondered, saying to one another, “Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?
8 Und wie hören denn wir sie sprechen ein jeglicher in seiner Sprache, in der er geboren ist,
And how do we hear, each in our proper dialect, in which we were born?
9 Parther und Meder und Elamiter und die wir wohnen in Mesopotamien und Judäa und Kappadozien, Pontus und Asien,
Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and those dwelling in Mesopotamia, in Judea also, and Cappadocia, Pontus, and Asia,
10 Und Phrygien und Pamphylien, Ägypten und den Gegenden Libyens um Cyrene und die Ausländer von Rom,
Phrygia also, and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya that [are] along Cyrene, and the strangers of Rome, both Jews and proselytes,
11 Juden und Judengenossen, Kreter und Araber? Wir hören sie mit unseren Zungen die großen Taten Gottes preisen.
Cretes and Arabians, we heard them speaking the great things of God in our tongues.”
12 Sie entsetzten sich alle und wußten nicht es zu deuten, indem einer zum anderen sprach: Was will das werden?
And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying to one another, “What would this wish to be?”
13 Andere aber hatten ihren Spott und sagten: Sie sind voll süßen Weines.
And others mocking said, “They are full of sweet wine”;
14 Da trat Petrus auf mit den Elfen, erhob seine Stimme und redete zu ihnen: Männer von Judah, und ihr alle, die ihr in Jerusalem wohnt, das sei euch kundgetan und schenkt Gehör meinen Worten.
and Peter having stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice and declared to them: “Men—Jews, and all those dwelling in Jerusalem! Let this be known to you, and listen to my sayings,
15 Die da sind fürwahr nicht, wie ihr wähnt, betrunken, sintemal es die dritte Stunde am Tage ist.
for these are not drunken, as you take it up, for it is the third hour of the day.
16 Vielmehr tritt ein, was durch den Propheten Joel gesagt worden ist;
But this is that which has been spoken through the prophet Joel:
17 In den letzten Tagen wird geschehen, spricht Gott, daß Ich von Meinen Geist ausgießen werde über alles Fleisch, und weissagen werden eure Söhne und Töchter, und eure Jünglinge Gesichte sehen, und die Alten Traumgesichte haben.
And it will be in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh, And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, And your young men will see visions, And your old men will dream dreams;
18 Und auf Meine Knechte und Mägde werde Ich in jenen Tagen von Meinem Geist ausgießen, daß sie weissagen werden.
And also on My menservants, and on My maidservants, In those days, I will pour out of My Spirit, And they will prophesy;
19 Und Ich werde Wunder tun am Himmel oben, und Zeichen unten auf Erden mit Blut, Feuer und Rauchdampf.
And I will give wonders in the sky above, And signs on the earth beneath—Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke,
20 Die Sonne soll sich in Finsternis verkehren und der Mond in Blut, ehe denn der große und herrliche Tag des Herrn kommt.
The sun will be turned to darkness, And the moon to blood, Before the coming of the Day of the LORD—the great and conspicuous;
21 Und soll geschehen, daß, wer den Namen des Herrn anruft, gerettet wird.
And it will be, everyone who, if he may have called on the Name of the LORD, will be saved.
22 Ihr Männer von Israel, hört diese Worte: Jesus von Nazareth, den Mann von Gott unter euch beglaubigt mit Taten, Wundern und Zeichen, die Gott durch Ihn in eurer Mitte tat, wie denn ihr selbst es wisset.
Men, Israelites! Hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man approved of God among you by mighty works, and wonders, and signs, that God did through Him in the midst of you, according as also you yourselves have known,
23 Diesen habt ihr, als Er euch durch Gottes Ratschluß und Vorhersehung in eure Gewalt gegeben worden, durch gottlose Hände ans Kreuz geschlagen und zum Tode gebracht.
this One, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, being given out, having been taken by lawless hands, having been crucified—you slew,
24 Ihn hat Gott auferweckt, und gelöst die Schmerzen des Todes, wie es denn nicht möglich war, daß Er von ihnen sollte gehalten werden.
whom God raised up, having loosed the travails of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it;
25 Denn David sagt von Ihm: Ich sah den Herrn vor mir immerdar; denn Er ist mir zur Rechten, auf daß ich nicht wanke.
for David says in regard to Him: I foresaw the LORD always before me—Because He is on my right hand—That I may not be moved;
26 Deshalb freute sich mein Herz und frohlockte meine Zunge; zudem wird auch mein Fleisch in Hoffnung ruhen;
Because of this was my heart cheered, And my tongue was glad, And yet—my flesh will also rest on hope,
27 Du wirst meine Seele nicht in der Hölle lassen, nicht zugeben, daß Dein Heiliger Verwesung sehe. (Hadēs g86)
Because You will not leave my soul to Hades, Nor will You give Your Holy One to see corruption; (Hadēs g86)
28 Du hast mir kund getan die Wege des Lebens, und erfüllst mich mit Freuden vor Deinem Angesicht.
You made known to me ways of life, You will fill me with joy with Your countenance.
29 Männer, Brüder! sintemal ich mit allem Freimut zu euch von unserem Erzvater David reden darf, daß er gestorben und begraben worden, und seine Grabstätte bei uns sich findet bis auf diesen Tag.
Men, brothers! It is permitted to speak with freedom to you concerning the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is among us to this day;
30 Da er nun ein Prophet war und eingedenk, daß ihm Gott mit einem Eide verheißen hatte, daß von der Frucht seiner Lenden Einer auf seinem Throne sitzen werde;
therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God swore to him with an oath, out of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, to raise up the Christ, to sit on his throne,
31 Hat er vorhergesehen und geredet von Christus Auferstehung, daß Seine Seele nicht in der Hölle gelassen und Sein Fleisch die Verwesung nicht sehen würde. (Hadēs g86)
having foreseen, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left to Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
32 Diesen Jesus hat Gott auferweckt, dessen wir alle Zeugen sind.
God raised up this Jesus, of which we are all witnesses;
33 Nun Er zur Rechten Gottes erhöht ist, und die Verheißung des Heiligen Geistes vom Vater empfangen hat, hat Er ausgegossen das, was ihr seht und hört.
then having been exalted at the right hand of God—also having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father—He poured forth this which you now see and hear;
34 Denn David ist nicht in den Himmel aufgestiegen; er selbst aber spricht: Der Herr sprach zu meinem Herrn: Setze Dich zu Meiner Rechten,
for David did not go up into the heavens, and he says himself: The LORD says to my Lord, Sit at My right hand,
35 Bis daß Ich Deine Feinde Dir als Schemel zu Füßen lege.
Until I make Your enemies Your footstool;
36 So erkenne denn das ganze Haus Israel mit Gewißheit, daß Gott diesen Jesus, Den ihr gekreuzigt, zum Herrn und Christus gemacht hat.
assuredly, therefore, let all the house of Israel know that God made Him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified.”
37 Da sie das hörten, ging es ihnen durch das Herz, und sie sprachen zu Petrus und den anderen Aposteln: Was sollen wir tun, ihr Männer und Brüder?
And having heard, they were pricked to the heart; they also say to Peter and to the rest of the apostles, “What will we do, men, brothers?”
38 Petrus aber sprach zu ihnen: Tut Buße und lasse sich ein jeder von euch taufen auf den Namen von Jesus Christus zur Vergebung der Sünden, so werdet ihr die Gabe des Heiligen Geistes empfangen.
And Peter said to them, “Convert, and each of you be immersed on the Name of Jesus Christ, for forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit,
39 Denn für euch und eure Kinder ist diese Verheißung, und für alle, die noch ferne sind, so viel ihrer der Herr, unser Gott, herzurufen wird.
for the promise is to you and to your children, and to all those far off, as many as the LORD our God will call.”
40 Und mit vielen anderen Worten bezeugte er und ermahnte sie, indem er sprach: Rettet euch von diesem verkehrten Geschlecht!
Also with many more other words he was testifying and exhorting, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation”;
41 Sie nahmen seine Rede bereitwillig an und ließen sich taufen, und an jenem Tage wurden bei dreitausend Seelen hinzugetan.
then those, indeed, who gladly received his word were immersed, and there were added on that day, as it were, three thousand souls,
42 Sie hielten aber an der Lehre der Apostel und an der Gemeinschaft und am Brotbrechen und am Gebet.
and they were continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the apostles, and the fellowship, and the breaking of the bread, and the prayers.
43 Es kam aber über alle Seelen eine Furcht, und viele Wunder und Zeichen geschahen durch die Apostel.
And fear came on every soul, also many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles,
44 Alle aber, die gläubig geworden waren, hielten zusammen und hatten alle Dinge gemein.
and all those believing were at the same place, and had all things common,
45 Güter und Habe verkauften sie und verteilten an alle, je wie einer dessen bedürftig war.
and they were selling the possessions and the goods, and were parting them to all, according as anyone had need.
46 Alltäglich beharrten sie einmütig im Tempel, brachen hin und wieder das Brot in den Häusern,
Also continuing daily with one accord in the temple, also breaking bread at every house, they were partaking of food in gladness and simplicity of heart,
47 Hielten ihre Mahle in Fröhlichkeit und Einfalt des Herzens, lobpreisten Gott und hatten Gunst bei dem ganzen Volk. Der Herr aber mehrte täglich die Zahl der Geretteten in der Gemeinde.
praising God, and having favor with all the people, and the LORD was adding those being saved every day to the Assembly.
