2 Johannes 1
1 Der Älteste an die auserwählte Kyria und an ihre Kinder, die ich liebe in Wahrheit, und nicht allein ich, sondern auch alle, welche die Wahrheit erkannt haben,
The Elder, unto an elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not, I, alone, but all those also who understand the truth, —
For the sake of the truth that abideth in us, and, with us, shall be unto times age-abiding, (aiōn g165)
3 Gnade, Barmherzigkeit, Friede von Gott dem Vater und von dem Herrn Jesus Christus, dem Sohn des Vaters, in Wahrheit und Liebe sei mit dir.
Favour, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
4 Ich freute mich sehr, daß ich von deinen Kindern solche gefunden habe, die in der Wahrheit wandeln, wie wir das Gebot vom Vater empfangen haben.
I rejoiced exceedingly, in that I had found, from among thy children, such as were walking in truth, even as, a commandment, we received from the Father.
5 Und nun bitte ich dich, Kyria, nicht als ob ich dir ein neu Gebot schriebe, sondern eines, das wir von Anfang an hatten, daß wir einander lieben sollen.
And, now, I request thee, lady, not as writing, a new commandment, unto thee, but one which we were holding from the beginning—That we should be loving one another.
6 Und das ist die Liebe, daß wir wandeln nach Seinen Geboten. Das ist das Gebot, wie ihr von Anfang angehört habt, daß ihr darin wandeln sollt.
And, this, is love, that we should be walking according to his commandments: This, is, the commandment, even as ye heard from the beginning, that, therein, ye should be walking.
7 Denn viele Verführer sind in die Welt gekommen, die Jesus Christus nicht bekennen als in das Fleisch gekommen. Dies ist der Verführer und der Widerchrist.
Because, many deceivers, have gone out into the world, they who do not confess Jesus Christ coming in flesh: This, is the deceiver and the antichrist.
8 Seht euch vor, daß wir nicht verlieren, was wir erarbeitet haben, sondern vollen Lohn empfangen.
Be taking heed unto yourselves, lest ye lose what things we earned, —but, a full reward, ye may duly receive.
9 Wer darüber hinaus will und nicht bei der Lehre Christi bleibt, der hat Gott nicht; wer aber bei der Lehre Christi bleibt, der hat sowohl den Vater als den Sohn.
Every one that taketh a lead, and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not, God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same, hath, both the Father and the Son.
10 Wenn einer zu euch kommt und diese Lehre nicht bringt, den nehmt nicht in das Haus und grüßt ihn auch nicht.
If anyone cometh unto you and, this teaching, doth not bring, be not receiving him home, and, Joy to thee! do not say;
11 Denn wer ihn begrüßt, der nimmt Teil an seinen bösen Werken.
For, he that biddeth him rejoice, hath fellowship with his wicked works.
12 Ich hätte euch noch viel zu schreiben, aber ich wollte nicht mit Papier und Tinte, hoffe aber zu euch zu kommen und mündlich davon zu reden, auf daß unsere Freude vollkommen sei.
Though I had many things, unto you, to write, I was not minded [to say them] with paper and ink; but I hope to come unto you, and, mouth to mouth, to talk, —that your joy may be made full.
13 Es grüßen dich die Kinder deiner Schwerster, der Auserwählten. Amen.
The children of thy chosen sister salute thee.
