1 Johannes 1
1 Was von Anfang war, was wir gehört, was wir mit unsren Augen gesehen haben, was wir beschaut und was unsre Hände betastet haben, vom Wort des Lebens
That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with the eyes of us, that which we have gazed upon and the hands of us handled concerning the Word of life —
2 und das Leben ist erschienen, und wir haben gesehen und bezeugen und verkündigen euch das ewige Leben, welches bei dem Vater war und uns erschienen ist; (aiōnios g166)
and the life was made manifest, and we have seen and bear witness and we proclaim to you the life eternal which was with the Father and was revealed to us — (aiōnios g166)
3 was wir gesehen und gehört haben, das verkündigen wir euch, damit auch ihr Gemeinschaft mit uns habet. Und unsere Gemeinschaft ist mit dem Vater und mit seinem Sohne Jesus Christus.
that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim (also *no) to you so that also you yourselves fellowship may have with us; Indeed the fellowship now our own [is] with the Father and with the Son of Him Jesus Christ.
4 Und solches schreiben wir euch, damit eure Freude vollkommen sei.
And these things write (we ourselves *N+KO) so that the joy of us may be completed.
5 Und das ist die Botschaft, die wir von ihm gehört haben und euch verkündigen, daß Gott Licht ist und in ihm gar keine Finsternis ist.
And is this the (message *NK+O) that we have heard from Him and we preach to you that God light is and darkness in Him not is none.
6 Wenn wir sagen, daß wir Gemeinschaft mit ihm haben, und [doch] in der Finsternis wandeln, so lügen wir und tun nicht die Wahrheit;
If we shall say that fellowship we have with Him and yet in the darkness may walk, we lie and not we do practice the truth;
7 wenn wir aber im Lichte wandeln, wie er im Lichte ist, so haben wir Gemeinschaft miteinander, und das Blut Jesu Christi, seines Sohnes, reinigt uns von aller Sünde.
If now in the light we shall walk as He himself is in the light, fellowship we have with one another and the blood of Jesus (Christ *K) the Son of Him cleanses us from all sin.
8 Wenn wir sagen, wir haben keine Sünde, so verführen wir uns selbst, und die Wahrheit ist nicht in uns;
If we shall say that sin not we have, ourselves we deceive and the truth not is in us.
9 wenn wir aber unsere Sünden bekennen, so ist er treu und gerecht, daß er uns die Sünden vergibt und uns reinigt von aller Ungerechtigeit.
If we shall confess the sins of us, faithful He is and just that He may forgive us [our] sins and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 Wenn wir sagen, wir haben nicht gesündigt, so machen wir ihn zum Lügner, und sein Wort ist nicht in uns.
If we shall say that not we have sinned, a liar we make Him and the word of Him not is in us.
