Lukas 7
1 Nachdem er aber alle diese Reden vollendet hatte vor dem zuhörenden Volk, ging er hinein nach Kapernaum.
When hee had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entred into Capernaum.
2 Und eines Hauptmanns Knecht, der ihm wert war, lag krank, und war am Sterben.
And a certaine Ceturions seruant was sicke and readie to die, which was deare vnto him.
3 Da er aber von Jesus hörte, sandte er zu ihm Älteste der Juden, und bat ihn, daß er komme, und seinem Knechte helfe.
And when he heard of Iesus, hee sent vnto him the Elders of the Iewes, beseeching him that he would come, and heale his seruant.
4 Als sie aber zu Jesus kamen, ermahnten sie ihn mit Fleiß, und sprachen: Er ist es wert, daß du ihm das erzeigst;
So they came to Iesus, and besought him instantly, saying that hee was worthy that hee should doe this for him:
5 Denn er liebt unser Volk, und die Synagoge hat er uns erbaut.
For he loueth, said they, our nation, and he hath built vs a Synagogue.
6 Jesus aber ging mit ihnen hin. Da er aber schon nicht mehr weit von dem Hause weg war, sandte der Hauptmann Freunde zu ihm, und ließ ihm sagen: Herr, bemühe dich nicht; ich bin nicht wert, daß du unter mein Dach kommst;
Then Iesus went with them: but when he was now not farre from the house, the Centurion sent friendes to him, saying vnto him, Lord, trouble not thy selfe: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter vnder my roofe:
7 Darum habe ich mich auch selbst nicht würdig geachtet, zu dir zu kommen, sondern sprich mit einem Wort, und mein Knecht wird geheilt werden.
Wherefore I thought not my selfe worthy to come vnto thee: but say the word, and my seruant shalbe whole:
8 Denn auch ich bin ein von Höheren abhängiger Mensch, und doch habe ich Soldaten unter mir; und sage ich diesem: Gehe hin, so geht er; und einem andern: Komm, so kommt er; und meinem Knecht: tue das, so tut er´s.
For I likewise am a man set vnder authoritie, and haue vnder mee souldiers, and I say vnto one, Goe, and he goeth: and to another, Come, and hee commeth: and to my seruant, Doe this, and he doeth it.
9 Als aber Jesus das hörte, verwunderte er sich über ihn, und wandte sich um zu dem Volkshaufen, der ihm nachfolgte, und sprach: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: nicht einmal in Israel habe ich solchen Glauben gefunden.
When Iesus heard these things, he marueiled at him, and turned him, and said to the people, that followed him, I say vnto you, I haue not found so great faith, no not in Israel.
10 Und die gesandt waren, kehrten zurück in das Haus, und fanden den kranken Knecht gesund.
And when they that were sent, turned backe to the house, they founde the seruant that was sicke, whole.
11 Und es geschah am folgenden Tag, daß er in eine Stadt zog, genannt Main; und es zogen mit ihm viele seiner Jünger und ein großer Volkshaufe.
And it came to passe the day after, that he went into a citie called Nain, and many of his disciples went with him, and a great multitude.
12 Als er sich aber dem Stadttor näherte, siehe, da ward ein Verstorbener herausgetragen, ein eingeborener Sohn seiner Mutter, und sie war Witwe; und ein großer Volkshaufe von der Stadt war bei ihr.
Nowe when hee came neere to the gate of the citie, behold, there was a dead man caried out, who was the onely begotten sonne of his mother, which was a widowe, and much people of the citie was with her.
13 Und als der Herr sie sah, erbarmte er sich über sie, und sprach zu ihr: Weine nicht!
And when the Lord sawe her, he had compassion on her, and said vnto her, Weepe not.
14 Und ging hin, und berührte den Sarg. Die Träger aber standen stille. Und er sprach: Jüngling, ich sage dir, steh auf!
And he went and touched the coffin (and they that bare him, stoode still) and he said, Yong man, I say vnto thee, Arise.
15 Und der Tote setzte sich in die Höhe, und fing an zu reden. Und er gab ihn seiner Mutter.
And he that was dead, sate vp, and began to speake, and he deliuered him to his mother.
16 Und Furcht ergriff alle, und sie priesen Gott, und sprachen: Ein großer Prophet ist unter uns aufgestanden, und Gott hat sein Volk angesehen.
Then there came a feare on them all, and they glorified God, saying, A great Prophet is risen among vs, and God hath visited his people.
17 Und dies Wort von ihm ging aus in ganz Judäa und in die ganze Umgegend.
And this rumour of him went foorth throughout all Iudea, and throughout all the region round about.
18 Und es berichteten dem Johannes seine Jünger von all dem.
And the disciples of Iohn shewed him of all these things.
19 Und Johannes rief zwei seiner Jünger zu sich, und sandte sie zum Herrn, und sprach: Bist du, der da kommt, oder erwarten wir einen andern?
So Iohn called vnto him two certaine men of his disciples, and sent them to Iesus, saying, Art thou hee that should come, or shall we waite for another?
20 Da aber die Männer zu ihm kamen, sprachen sie: Johannes der Täufer hat uns zu dir gesandt, und sagt: Bist du, der da kommt, oder erwarten wir einen andern?
And when the men were come vnto him, they said, Iohn Baptist hath sent vs vnto thee, saying, Art thou hee that should come, or shall we waite for another?
21 In jener Stunde aber heilte er viele von Krankheiten und Plagen und bösen Geistern, und vielen Blinden schenkte er das Gesicht.
And at that time, he cured many of their sickenesses, and plagues, and of euill spirites, and vnto many blinde men he gaue sight freely.
22 Und Jesus antwortete, und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet hin, und verkündiget Johannes, was ihr gesehen und gehört habt, daß Blinde sehen, Lahme wandeln, Aussätzige gereinigt werden, Taube hören, Tote auferweckt werden, Armen die frohe Botschaft verkündigt wird.
And Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, Goe your wayes and shewe Iohn, what things ye haue seene and heard: that the blinde see, the halt goe, the lepers are cleansed, the deafe heare, the dead are raised, and the poore receiue the Gospel.
23 Und selig ist, wer nicht an mir irre wird.
And blessed is hee, that shall not be offended in me.
24 Als aber die Boten des Johannes fortgegangen waren, fing er an zu den Volkshaufen von Johannes zu sagen: Was seid ihr hinausgegangen in die Wüste zu sehen? Ein Rohr vom Winde bewegt (Nein.)
And when the messengers of Iohn were departed, hee began to speake vnto the people, of Iohn, What went ye out into the wildernes to see? A reede shaken with the winde?
25 Sondern was seid ihr hinausgegangen zu sehen? Einen Menschen mit weichlichen Kleidern angetan? Siehe, die in herrlicher Kleidung und Üppigkeit Lebenden sind in den Königspalästen.
But what went ye out to see? A man clothed in soft rayment? beholde, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and liue delicately, are in Kings courtes.
26 Sondern was seid ihr hinausgegangen zu sehen? Einen Propheten? Ja, ich sage euch, der auch mehr ist, als ein Prophet.
But what went ye foorth to see? A Prophet? yea, I say to you, and greater then a Prophet.
27 Dieser ist es, von dem geschrieben steht: Siehe, ich sende meinen Engel vor dir her, welcher deinen Weg bereiten wird vor Dir her.
This is he of whom it is written, Beholde, I sende my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
28 Denn ich sage euch: Unter denen, die von Weibern geboren sind, ist keiner ein größerer Prophet, als Johannes der Täufer; aber der Kleinste in der Gottesherrschaft ist größer, als er.
For I say vnto you, there is no greater Prophet then Iohn, among them that are begotten of women: neuerthelesse, hee that is the least in the kingdome of God, is greater then he.
29 Und alles Volk, das ihn hörte, und die Zöllner gaben Gott recht, indem sie sich taufen ließen mit der Taufe Johannis,
Then all the people that heard, and the Publicanes iustified God, being baptized with the baptisme of Iohn.
30 Aber die Pharisäer und Gesetzeslehrer vereitelten den Rat Gottes für sie, indem sie sich nicht von ihm taufen ließen.
But the Pharises and the expounders of the Law despised the counsell of God against themselues, and were not baptized of him.
31 Wem nun soll ich die Menschen dieses Geschlechts vergleichen, und wem sind sie gleich?
And the Lord saide, Whereunto shall I liken the men of this generation? and what thing are they like vnto?
32 Gleich sind sie den Kindern, die am Markte sitzen und rufen einander zu, und sagen: Wir haben euch gepfiffen, und ihr habt nicht getanzt; wir haben eine Klage angestimmt, und ihr habt nicht geweint.
They are like vnto litle children sitting in the market place, and crying one to another, and saying, We haue piped vnto you, and ye haue not daunced: we haue mourned to you, and ye haue not wept.
33 Denn Johannes der Täufer ist gekommen, und aß weder Brot, noch trank er Wein, und ihr sagtet: Er hat einen Dämon.
For Iohn Baptist came, neither eating bread, nor drinking wine: and ye say, He hath the deuil.
34 Der Menschensohn ist gekommen, und ißt und trinkt, und ihr saget: Siehe, ein Fresser und Weinsäufer, der Zöllner- und Sünderfreund!
The Sonne of man is come, and eateth and drinketh: and ye say, Beholde, a man which is a glutton, and a drinker of wine, a friend of Publicanes and sinners:
35 Doch die Weisheit ist gerechtfertigt worden von allen ihren Kindern.
But wisdome is iustified of all her children.
36 Es bat ihn aber einer der Pharisäer, daß er mit ihm äße; und er ging hinein in das Haus des Pharisäers, und lag zu Tische.
And one of the Pharises desired him that hee would eate with him: and hee went into the Pharises house, and sate downe at table.
37 Und siehe, ein Weib in der Stadt, die eine Sünderin war, erfuhr, daß er in dem Hause des Pharisäers zu Tische lag, und brachte ein Alabasterfläschchen mit Salbe,
And beholde, a woman in the citie, which was a sinner, when she knewe that Iesus sate at table in the Pharises house, shee brought a boxe of oyntment.
38 Und stund hinter zu seinen Füßen weinend, und fing an, ihm die Füße zu netzen mit ihren Tränen, und trocknete sie mit den Haaren ihres Hauptes, und küßte seine Füße, und salbte sie mit der Salbe.
And shee stoode at his feete behinde him weeping, and began to wash his feete with teares, and did wipe them with the heares of her head, and kissed his feete, and anoynted them with the oyntment.
39 Als das der Pharisäer, der ihn eingeladen hatte, sah, sprach er bei sich selbst, und sagte: Wenn dieser ein Prophet wäre, so wüßte er, wer und was für ein Weib das ist, die ihn anrührt, denn sie ist eine Sünderin.
Nowe when the Pharise which bade him, saw it, he spake within himselfe, saying, If this man were a Prophet, hee woulde surely haue knowen who, and what maner of woman this is which toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40 Und Jesus antwortete, und sprach zu ihm: Simon, ich habe dir etwas zu sagen. Er aber sprach: Lehrer, sage an!
And Iesus answered, and saide vnto him, Simon, I haue somewhat to say vnto thee. And he said, Master, say on.
41 Ein Gläubiger hatte zwei Schuldner; der eine schuldete ihm fünfhundert Denare, der andere fünfzig.
There was a certaine lender which had two detters: the one ought fiue hundreth pence, and the other fiftie:
42 Da sie aber nicht hatten zu bezahlen, so schenkte er es beiden. Wer nun von ihnen, sprich, wird ihn mehr lieben?
When they had nothing to pay, he forgaue them both: Which of them therefore, tell mee, will loue him most?
43 Simon aber antwortete, und sprach: Ich vermute der, dem er am meisten geschenkt hat. Er sprach zu ihm: du hast recht geurteilt.
Simon answered, and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgaue most. And he said vnto him, Thou hast truely iudged.
44 Und sich gegen das Weib wendend, sprach er zu Simon: Siehst du dies Weib? Ich bin in dein Haus gekommen, und Wasser auf meine Füße hast du mir nicht gegeben; diese aber hat mit Tränen meine Füße benetzt, und mit ihren Haaren abgetrocknet.
Then he turned to the woman, and said vnto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entred into thine house, and thou gauest mee no water to my feete: but she hath washed my feete with teares, and wiped them with the heares of her head.
45 Einen Kuß hast du mir nicht gegeben; diese aber, seit ich hereingekommen bin, hat nicht abgelassen meine Füße zu küssen.
Thou gauest me no kisse: but she, since the time I came in, hath not ceased to kisse my feete.
46 Mit Öl hast du mein Haupt nicht gesalbt; diese aber hat mit Salbe meine Füße gesalbt.
Mine head with oyle thou didest not anoint: but she hath anoynted my feete with oyntment.
47 Deshalb sage ich dir: Vergeben sind ihre vielen Sünden, denn sie hat viel geliebt; wem aber wenig vergeben ist, der liebt wenig.
Wherefore I say vnto thee, many sinnes are forgiuen her: for she loued much. To whom a litle is forgiuen, he doeth loue a litle.
48 Und er sprach zu ihr: Vergeben sind deine Sünden.
And he saide vnto her, Thy sinnes are forgiuen thee.
49 Da fingen die Tischgenossen an bei sich zu sagen: Wer ist dieser, der auch Sünden vergibt?
And they that sate at table with him, began to say within themselues, Who is this that euen forgiueth sinnes?
50 Er aber sprach zu dem Weibe: Dein Glaube hat dir geholfen; gehe hin im Frieden!
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saued thee: goe in peace.
