Lukas 21
1 Da er aber aufblickte, sah er die Reichen, wie sie ihre Gaben in den Schatzkasten warfen.
And, looking up, he saw the, rich, who were casting their gifts into the treasury, —
2 Er sah aber auch eine dürftige Witwe, die warf zwei Scherflein hinein.
and he saw a certain poor widow, casting in thither two mites;
3 Und er sprach: Wahrhaftig, ich sage euch: Diese arme Witwe hat mehr als sie alle hineingeworfen.
and he said—Of a truth, I say unto you—This destitute widow, more than they all, hath cast in;
4 Denn diese alle haben aus ihrem Überfluß hineingeworfen zu den Gottesgaben, diese aber aus ihrem Mangel hat hineingeworfen alles, was sie zu ihrem Lebensunterhalt hatte.
For, all these, out of their superfluity, have cast in among the gifts, but, she, out of her deficiency, all the living that she had, hath cast in.
5 Und als etliche sagten von dem Tempel, daß er mit schönen Steinen und Weihegeschenken geschmückt sei, sprach er:
And, certain saying, of the temple—With beautiful stones and offerings, hath it been adorned! he said—
6 Es werden Tage kommen, in welchen von allem, was ihr sehet, nicht ein Stein auf dem andern gelassen wird, der nicht abgebrochen wird.
As to these things, which ye are looking upon, There will come days, in which there will not be left here, stone upon stone, which will not be taken down.
7 Sie frugen ihn aber, und sprachen: Lehrer, wann wird denn das sein? Und was ist das Zeichen, wann dieses geschehen soll?
And they questioned him, saying—Teacher! when, therefore, will these things be? And, what the sign, when these things shall be about to come to pass?
8 Er aber sprach: Sehet zu, daß ihr nicht verführt werdet; denn viele werden kommen in meinem Namen, und sagen: Ich bin es, und die Zeit ist herbeigekommen. Gehet aber nicht hinter ihnen drein.
And, he, said—Be taking heed ye be not deceived; for, many, will come upon my name, saying—I, am he, —and—The season, hath drawn near! Do not go after them.
9 Wenn ihr aber hören werdet von Kriegen und Aufständen, so zaget nicht, denn das muß alles zuerst geschehen, aber das Ende ist noch so bald da.
But, whensoever ye shall hear of wars and revolutions, be not terrified, —for these things, must needs, come to pass first, but, not immediately, is the end.
10 Alsdann sprach er zu ihnen: Ein Volk wird sich erheben wider das andere, und ein Königreich wider das andere.
Then, said he unto them—There will rise up, nation against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
11 Und es werden große Erdbeben allerorten, und Hungersnöte, und Seuchen sein, und Schreckensbilder und große Zeichen vom Himmel werden sein.
As well great earthquakes, as also, in places, pestilences and famines, will there be, as well objects of terror, as also, from heaven, great signs, will there be.
12 Aber vor diesem allem werden sie ihre Hände an euch legen, und euch verfolgen und in Synagogen und Gefängnisse überliefern, und euch hinführen vor Könige und Landpfleger, um meines Namens willen.
And before, all these things, they will thrust upon you their hands, and persecute you, delivering you up into the synagogues and prisons, —when ye have been led away before kings and governors, for the sake of my name;
13 Es wird euch aber geraten zu einem Zeugnis.
But it shall turn out to you for a witness.
14 Nehmet es nun zu Herzen, daß ihr nicht vorher sorget, euch zu verteidigen.
Settle, then, in your hearts, not to be studying beforehand, how to make defense;
15 Denn ich will euch Mund und Weisheit geben, welcher nicht widerreden, noch widerstehen können euere Widersacher.
For, I, will give you a mouth and wisdom, which one-and-all who are setting themselves against, you shall be unable to withstand or gainsay.
16 Ihr werdet aber überliefert werden, selbst von Eltern, und Brüdern, und Verwandten, und Freunden; und sie werden von euch töten.
But ye will be delivered up, even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends, and they will put to death some from among you;
17 Und ihr werdet gehaßt werden von allen, um meines Namens willen.
And ye will be hated by all, because of my name:
18 Und kein Haar von euerm Haupte wird verloren gehen.
And, a hair of your head, in nowise shall perish, —
19 Wenn ihr geduldig ausharret, so werdet ihr euere Seelen gewinnen.
By your endurance, shall ye gain your lives for a possession.
20 Wenn ihr aber sehen werdet Jerusalem von Herrlagern umzingelt, dann wisset, daß seine Verwüstung nahe ist.
But whensoever ye shall see Jerusalem, encompassed by armies, then, know, that her desolation hath drawn near.
21 Alsdann sollen, die in Judäa sind, ins Gebirge fliehen, und die in der Stadt sind, mögen entweichen, und die in den umliegenden Ländern sollen nicht in sie hineingehen,
Then they who are in Judaea, let them flee into the mountains, and they who are in her midst, let them go forth, —and they who are in the fields, let them not enter into her;
22 Denn das sind Tage der Vergeltung, daß erfüllt werde alles, was geschrieben ist.
For, days of avenging, are, these, for all the things written to be fulfilled.
23 Wehe aber den Schwangern und Säugenden in jenen Tagen, denn es wird eine große Not sein auf Erden und Zorn diesem Volk,
Alas! for the women with child, and for them who are giving suck, in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and anger against this people.
24 Und sie werden fallen durch die Schärfe des Schwertes, und gefangen geführt werden unter alle Heiden, und Jerusalem wird von Heiden zertreten werden, bis Zeiten von Heiden(völkern) erfüllt sind.
And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be carried away captive into all the nations, and, Jerusalem, shall be trodden down by the nations, until the seasons of the nations shall be fulfilled [and shall be].
25 Und es werden Zeichen an Sonne, Mond und Sterne sein, und auf Erden Zusammendrängen von Völkern in Ratlosigkeit, bei brausendem Meer und Wogen,
And there will he signs in sun, and moon, and stars, and, on the earth, anguish of nations in embarrassment—sea and surge resounding, —
26 Während Menschen entseelt werden auf Frucht und Warten der Dinge, die da kommen sollen über den Erdkreis; denn die Kräfte der Himmel werden erschüttert werden.
Men fainting, from fear and expectation of the things overtaking the inhabited earth. For, the powers of the heavens, will be shaken.
27 Und dann werden sie sehen den Menschensohn kommen auf einer Wolke mit viel Kraft und Herrlichkeit.
And, then, will they see the Son of Man—coming in a cloud, with great power and glory.
28 Wenn aber dies anfängt zu geschehen, so richtet euch auf, und erhebet eure Häupter, darum, daß sich euere Erlösung naht.
And, when these things are beginning to come to pass, unbend and lift up your heads, because that, your redemption, is drawing near.
29 Und er sagte ihnen ein Gleichnis: Sehet den Feigenbaum an, und alle Bäume;
And he spake a parable unto them: See the fig-tree, and all the trees, —
30 Wenn sie schon ausschlagen, und ihr es sehet, so wisset ihr von selber, daß der Sommer schon nahe ist.
Whensoever they have already budded, seeing it, of yourselves, ye observe that, already near, is, the summer:
31 Also auch ihr, wenn ihr sehet dies alles geschehen, so wisset, daß die Gottesherrschaft nahe ist.
Thus, ye also, whensoever ye shall see, these, things coming to pass, observe ye, that, near, is the kingdom of God!
32 Wahrlich, ich sage euch, daß dieses Geschlecht nicht vergehen wird, bis daß alles geschehe.
Verily, I say unto you—In nowise shall this generation pass away, until, all things, shall happen:
33 Der Himmel und die Erde werden vergehen, aber meine Worte werden nicht vergehen.
Heaven and earth, will pass away, but, my word, in nowise will pass away.
34 Hütet euch aber, daß euere Herzen nicht beschwert werden mit Rausch und Trunkenheit und Nahrungssorgen, und komme jener Tag unerwartet über euch.
But be taking heed unto yourselves, lest once your hearts be made heavy—with debauch and drunkenness and anxieties about livelihood, and that day come upon you suddenly,
35 Denn wie ein Fallstrick wird er kommen über alle, die auf der ganzen Erde wohnen.
as a snare, —For it will come in by surprise, upon all them that are dwelling on the face of all the earth.
36 So machet nun zu jeglicher Zeit, und bittet, daß ihr gewürdigt werdet, zu entfliehen diesem allem, das geschehen soll, und zu stehen vor dem Menschensohn.
But be watching in every season, making supplication, that ye may gain full vigour, to escape all these things that are about to be coming to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
37 Des Tages aber lehrte er im Tempel, und des Nachts ging er hinaus, und übernachtete auf dem sogenannten Ölberg.
And he was, by day, in the temple, teaching; but, by night, going forth, he was lodging in the mount which is called the Mount of Olives.
38 Und das ganze Volk machte sich frühe zu ihm, ihn im Tempel zu hören.
And, all the people, were coming at day-break unto him, in the temple, to be hearkening unto him.
