Lukas 13
1 Es stellen sich aber in selbiger Zeit etliche ein, die berichteten ihm von den Galiläern, deren Blut Pilatus mit ihrem Opfer vermischt hatte.
There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 Und Jesus antwortete, und sprach zu ihnen: Meinet ihr, daß diese Galiläer Sünder waren vor allen Galiläern, weil sie solches erlitten haben?
And Jesus answering said to them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 Nein, sage ich euch, sondern wenn ihr eure Gesinnung nicht ändert, so werdet ihr alle also umkommen.
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Oder jene achtzehn, auf welchen der Turm von Siloam fiel, und tötete sie, meinet ihr, daß sie verschuldet waren vor allen Leuten, die in Jerusalem wohnen?
Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 Nein, sage ich euch, sondern wenn ihr eure Gesinnung nicht ändert, so werdet ihr alle also umkommen.
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
6 Er sagte aber dieses Gleichnis: Es hatte jemand einen Feigenbaum, der in seinem Weinberg gepflanzt war, und kam, und suchte Frucht darauf, und fand sie nicht.
He spoke also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit on it, and found none.
7 Er sprach aber zu dem Weingärtner: Siehe, drei Jahre komme ich, und suche Frucht an diesem Feigenbaum, und finde keine; haue ihn ab, für was erschöpft er das Land?
Then said he to the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 Er aber antwortete, und sagte ihm: Herr, laß ihn noch dieses Jahr, bis daß ich um ihn grabe, und Dünger daran tue.
And he answering said to him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 Und wenn er dann Frucht bringt, (nun gut); wenn aber nicht, so magst du ihn hernach weghauen.
And if it shall bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
10 Er lehrte aber in einer der Synagogen am Sabbat.
And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
11 Und siehe, da war ein Weib, die hatte einen Geist der Krankheit achtzehn Jahre; und war gekrümmt, und konnte sich durchaus nicht aufrichten.
And, behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no way raise herself.
12 Da aber Jesus sie sah, rief er sie herbei, und sprach zu ihr: Weib sei befreit von deiner Krankheit!
And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said to her, Woman, thou art loosed from thy infirmity.
13 Und er legte ihr die Hände auf, und plötzlich richtete sie sich auf, und pries Gott.
And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 Da antwortete der Synagogenvorsteher, in dem er böse ward, daß Jesus am Sabbat geheilt hatte, und sprach zu dem Volk: Es sind sechs Tage, darinnen man arbeiten soll; an diesen kommet und lasset euch heilen, und nicht am Sabbattage.
And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the sabbath, and said to the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
15 Darauf antwortete ihm der Herr, und sprach: Heuchler! Löst nicht jeder von euch am Sabbat seinen Ochsen, oder Esel von der Krippe, und führt ihn zur Tränke?
The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his donkey from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 Diese aber, eine Tochter Abrahams, welche der Satan gebunden, siehe, schon achtzehn Jahre, dürfte nicht gelöst werden von diesem Bande am Sabbattage?
And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, to be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
17 Und als er solches sagte, wurden alle seine Widersacher beschämt; und der ganze Volkshaufe freute sich über alle die herrlichen Dinge, die von ihm geschahen.
And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
18 Er sprach aber: Wem ist die Gottesherrschaft gleich, und womit soll ich sie vergleichen?
Then said he, To what is the kingdom of God like? and to what shall I compare it?
19 Sie ist gleich einem Senfkorn, welches ein Mensch nahm, und tat es in seinen Garten; und es wuchs, und ward zu einem großen Baum, und die Vögel des Himmels wohnten in seinen Zweigen.
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and became a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in its branches.
20 Und abermal sprach er: Womit soll ich die Gottesherrschaft vergleichen?
And again he said, To what shall I liken the kingdom of God?
21 Sie ist gleich einem Sauerteig, welchen ein Weib nahm, und mischte ihn unter drei Scheffel Mehl, bis daß das Ganze durchsäuert war.
It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
22 Und er durchzog Städte und Dörfer, indem er lehrte, und die Reise nach Jerusalem machte.
And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
23 Es sprach aber jemand zu ihm: Herr, sind es wenige, die errettet werden? Er aber sprach zu ihnen:
Then said one to him, Lord, are there few that are saved? And he said to them,
24 Ringet, einzugehen durch die enge Pforte, denn viele, sage ich euch, werden suchen hineinzugehen, und es nicht vermögen.
Strive to enter in at the narrow gate: for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 Von dem an, wann der Hausherr aufgestanden ist, und die Tür verschlossen hat, da werdet ihr anfangen draußen zu stehen, und an die Türe zu klopfen, und zu sagen: Herr, Herr, tue uns auf! Und er wird antworten, und zu euch sagen:
When once the master of the house hath risen up, and hath shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not where ye are from:
26 Ich kenne euch nicht, woher ihr seid. Alsdann werdet ihr anfangen zu sagen: Wir haben vor dir gegessen und getrunken, und du hast in unsern Gassen gelehrt.
Then ye shall begin to say, We ate and drank in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 Und er wird sprechen: Ich sage euch: Ich weiß nicht, woher ihr seid. Weichet alle von mir, ihr Übeltäter.
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not where ye are from; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 Daselbst wird Heulen und Zähneknirschen sein, wenn ihr sehen werdet Abraham und Isaak und Jakob und alle die Propheten in der Gottesherrschaft, euch aber hinausgestoßen.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
29 Und es werden kommen von Morgen und von Abend und von Mitternacht und von Mittag, die zu Tische liegen werden in der Gottesherrschaft.
And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
30 Und siehe, es sind Letzte, die werden Erste sein, und sind Erste, die werden Letzte sein.
And, behold, there are last who shall be first, and there are first who shall be last.
31 An selbigen Tage kamen etliche Pharisäer herzu, und sprachen zu ihm: Gehe fort, und ziehe von hinnen, denn Herodes will dich töten.
The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying to him, Go away, and depart from here: for Herod will kill thee.
32 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Gehet hin und saget diesem Fuchs: Siehe, ich treibe Dämonen aus, und vollbringe Heilungen, heute und morgen, und am dritten Tage wird´s ein Ende haben mit mir.
And he said to them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out demons, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
33 Doch muß ich heute und morgen und am folgenden Tage reisen, denn es geht nicht an, daß ein Prophet außerhalb Jerusalem umkomme.
Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet should perish out of Jerusalem.
34 Jerusalem, Jerusalem! die du tötest die Propheten, und steinigst, die zu dir gesandt sind; wie oft habe ich deine Kinder versammeln wollen, wie eine Henne ihre Kücklein unter ihre Flügel, und ihr habt nicht gewollt.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent to thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen gathereth her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
35 Siehe, euer Haus wird euch verlassen werden; aber ich sage euch, daß ihr mich nicht sehen werdet, bis es kommt, daß ihr sprechet: Gesegnet sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn.
Behold, your house is left to you desolate: and verily I say to you, Ye shall not see me, until the time shall come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
