Lukas 12
1 Als sich indessen viele Tausende vom Volk versammelt hatten, so daß sie einander zertraten, fing er an zu seinen Jüngern zu sagen: Vor allem hütet euch vor dem Sauerteig der Pharisäer, welcher ist Heuchelei.
In the meane time, there gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, so that they trode one another: and he began to say vnto his disciples first, Take heede to your selues of the leauen of the Pharises, which is hypocrisie.
2 Nichts ist verhüllt, was nicht enthüllt wird, noch verborgen, was man nicht wissen wird.
For there is nothing couered, that shall not bee reueiled: neither hidde, that shall not be knowen.
3 Darum was ihr in der Finsternis saget, das wird man im Lichte hören; und was ihr ins Ohr redet in den Kammern, das wird auf den Dächern verkündigt werden.
Wherefore whatsoeuer yee haue spoken in darkenesse, it shall be heard in the light: and that which ye haue spoken in the eare, in secret places, shall be preached on the houses.
4 Ich sage aber euch, meinen Freunden: Fürchtet euch nicht vor denen, die den Leib töten, und darnach nichts mehr tun können.
And I say vnto you, my friendes, be not afraide of them that kill the bodie, and after that are not able to doe any more.
5 Ich will euch aber zeigen, wen ihr fürchten sollt: Fürchtet den, der, nachdem er getötet, Macht hat ins Tal Hinnom zu werfen! Ja ich sage euch, den (d. h. den Messias) fürchtet. (Geenna g1067)
But I wil forewarne you, who ye shall feare: feare him which after hee hath killed, hath power to cast into hell: yea, I say vnto you, him feare. (Geenna g1067)
6 Verkauft man nicht fünf Sperlinge um zwei Pfennige? und doch ist nicht einer von ihnen vergessen vor Gott.
Are not fiue sparowes bought for two farthings, and yet not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 Aber auch die Haare eures Hauptes sind alle gezählt; so fürchtet euch denn nicht, ihr seid mehr, als viele Sperlinge.
Yea, and all the heares of your head are nombred: feare not therefore: yee are more of value then many sparowes.
8 Ich sage euch aber: Jeder, der mich bekannt hat vor den Menschen, den wird auch der Menschensohn bekennen vor den Engeln Gottes.
Also I say vnto you, Whosoeuer shall confesse mee before men, him shall the Sonne of man confesse also before the Angels of God.
9 Wer mich aber verleugnet hat vor den Menschen, der wird verleugnet werden vor den Engeln Gottes.
But hee that shall denie mee before men, shall be denied before the Angels of God.
10 Und jeder, der ein Wort reden wird gegen den Menschensohn, dem wird es vergeben werden, dem aber, der wider den heiligen Geist lästert, wird nicht vergeben werden.
And whosoeuer shall speake a woorde against the Sonne of man, it shall be forgiuen him: but vnto him, that shall blaspheme ye holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiuen.
11 Wenn sie euch aber vor die Synagogen und die Obrigkeiten und die Gewalten führen werden, so sorget nicht, wie oder was ihr antworten, oder was ihr sagen sollt.
And when they shall bring you vnto the Synagogues, and vnto the rulers and Princes, take no thought howe, or what thing ye shall answere, or what yee shall speake.
12 Denn der heilige Geist wird euch in derselbigen Stunde lehren, was ihr sagen müßt.
For the holy Ghost shall teache you in the same houre, what yee ought to say.
13 Es sagte aber jemand aus dem Volkshaufen zu ihm: Lehrer, sage meinem Bruder, daß er das Erbe mit mir teile.
And one of the companie said vnto him, Master, bidde my brother deuide the inheritance with me.
14 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Mensch, wer hat mich zum Richter, oder Erbverteiler über euch gesetzt?
And he said vnto him, Man, who made me a iudge, or a deuider ouer you?
15 Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Sehet zu, und hütet euch vor dem Geiz; denn niemand lebt von seinen Gütern, ob er gleich Überfluß hat.
Wherefore he said vnto them, Take heede, and beware of couetousnesse: for though a man haue abundance, yet his life standeth not in his riches.
16 Er sagte aber ein Gleichnis zu ihnen, und sprach: Eines reichen Mannes Feld hatte wohl getragen.
And he put foorth a parable vnto them, saying, The grounde of a certaine riche man brought foorth fruites plenteously.
17 Und er überlegte bei sich selbst, und sprach: Was soll ich machen, denn ich habe nicht, da ich meine Früchte hinsammle.
Therefore he thought with himselfe, saying, What shall I doe, because I haue no roume, where I may lay vp my fruites?
18 Und er sprach: Das will ich tun: ich will meine Scheune abbrechen, und größere bauen, und will darein sammeln alles, was mir gewachsen ist, und meine Güter,
And he said, This wil I do, I wil pul downe my barnes, and builde greater, and therein will I gather all my fruites, and my goods.
19 Und ich will sagen zu meiner Seele: Seele, du hast viele Güter daliegen für viele Jahre; sei ruhig, iß, trink, und sei fröhlich!
And I wil say to my soule, Soule, thou hast much goods laide vp for many yeeres: liue at ease, eate, drinke and take thy pastime.
20 Gott aber sprach zu ihm: Unsinniger! in dieser Nacht wird man deine Seele vor dir fordern; und wess´ wird dann sein, was du bereitet hast?
But God said vnto him, O foole, this night wil they fetch away thy soule from thee: then whose shall those things be which thou hast prouided?
21 Also ist, der sich Schätze sammelt, und ist nicht reich in Gott.
So is he that gathereth riches to himselfe, and is not riche in God.
22 Er sprach aber zu seinen Jüngern: Darum sage ich euch: Sorget nicht für eure Seele, was ihr essen sollt; auch nicht für euren Leib, was ihr anziehen sollt.
And he spake vnto his disciples, Therefore I say vnto you, Take no thought for your life, what yee shall eate: neither for your body, what yee shall put on.
23 Die Seele ist mehr, als die Speise, und der Leib mehr, als der Anzug.
The life is more then meate: and the body more then the raiment.
24 Betrachtet die Raben, wie sie nicht säen, noch ernten, auch haben sie weder Speisekammer, noch Scheune; und Gott nährt sie doch. Wie gar viel mehr seid doch ihr, als die Vögel.
Consider the rauens: for they neither sowe nor reape: which neither haue storehouse nor barne, and yet God feedeth them: how much more are yee better then foules?
25 Wer aber von euch kann mit seinen Sorgen seiner Länge eine einzige Elle zusetzen?
And which of you with taking thought, can adde to his stature one cubite?
26 Wenn ihr nun auch nicht das Geringste tun könnt, warum sorget ihr für das übrige?
If yee then bee not able to doe the least thing, why take yee thought for the remnant?
27 Betrachtet die Lilien, wie sie wachsen! Sie arbeiten nicht, auch spinnen sie nicht, und doch sage ich euch, daß auch Salomo in all seiner Herrlichkeit nicht bekleidet gewesen ist, als derselben eine.
Consider the lilies howe they growe: they labour not, neither spin they: yet I say vnto you, that Salomon himselfe in all his royaltie was not clothed like one of these.
28 Wenn nun Gott das Gras auf dem Felde, das heute steht und morgen in den Ofen geworfen wird, also kleidet, wie viel mehr wird er es euch tun, ihr Kleingläubigen!
If then God so clothe the grasse which is to day in the field, and to morowe is cast into the ouen, howe much more will he clothe you, O yee of litle faith?
29 Und auch ihr saget nicht, was ihr essen, oder was ihr trinken werdet, und fahret nicht hoch her.
Therefore aske not what yee shall eate, or what ye shall drinke, neither hag you in suspense.
30 Denn nach all dem trachten die Völker der Welt; euer Vater aber weiß, daß ihr dess´ bedürfet.
For all such things the people of the world seeke for: and your Father knoweth that ye haue neede of these things.
31 Doch trachtet nach der Gottesherrschaft, und alles das wird euch dazu gegeben werden.
But rather seeke ye after the kingdome of God, and all these things shalbe cast vpon you.
32 Fürchte dich nicht, du kleine Herde, denn es ist eures Vaters Wohlgefallen, euch die Königsherrschaft zu geben.
Feare not, litle flocke: for it is your Fathers pleasure, to giue you the kingdome.
33 Verkaufet, was ihr habt, und gebet Almosen. Machet euch Beutel, die nicht veralten, einen Schatz, der euch nicht im Stich läßt, in den Himmeln (bei Gott), wo kein Dieb sich naht, auch keine Motte verderbt.
Sell that ye haue, and giue almes: make you bagges, which waxe not old, a treasure that can neuer faile in heauen, where no theefe commeth, neither mothe corrupteth.
34 Denn wo euer Schatz ist, da wird auch euer Herz sein.
For where your treasure is, there will your hearts be also.
35 Eure Lenden sollen umgürtet sein, und eure Leuchten angezündet;
Let your loynes be gird about and your lights burning,
36 Und ihr gleich den Menschen, die auf ihren Herrn warten, wenn er zurückkehrt von der Hochzeit; damit, wann er kommt und anklopft, sie ihm alsbald auftun.
And ye your selues like vnto men that waite for their master, when he will returne from the wedding, that when he commeth and knocketh, they may open vnto him immediatly.
37 Selig sind jene Knechte, welche der Herr, wann er kommt, wachend findet! Wahrlich, ich sage euch, er wird sich aufschürzen, und wird sie zu Tische setzen, und vor ihnen gehen, und ihnen dienen.
Blessed are those seruants, whom the Lord when he commeth shall finde waking: verely I say vnto you, he will girde himselfe about, and make them to sit downe at table, and will come forth, and serue them.
38 Und wenn er kommt in der zweiten Wache, und in der dritten Wache kommt, und findet sie also, selig sind jene Knechte!
And if he come in the seconde watch, or come in the third watch, and shall finde them so, blessed are those seruants.
39 Das sollt ihr aber wissen, daß, wenn der Hausherr wüßte, in welcher Stunde der Dieb kommt, so würde er wachen, und nicht in sein Haus einbrechen lassen.
Nowe vnderstand this, that if the good man of the house had knowen at what houre the theefe would haue come, he would haue watched, and would not haue suffered his house to be digged through.
40 So seid denn auch ihr bereit, denn der Menschensohn kommt in der Stunde, da ihr es nicht meint.
Be ye also prepared therefore: for the Sonne of man will come at an houre when ye thinke not.
41 Spricht zu ihm Petrus: Herr sagst du dies Gleichnis zu uns, oder auch zu Allen?
Then Peter saide vnto him, Master, tellest thou this parable vnto vs, or euen to all?
42 Der Herr aber sprach: Wer ist denn der treue und verständige Haushalter, welchen der Herr über sein Gesinde setzt, daß er ihnen zu rechter Zeit die Lebensmittel gebe?
And the Lord saide, Who is a faithfull steward and wise, whom the master shall make ruler ouer his householde, to giue them their portion of meate in season?
43 Selig ist jener Knecht, welchen sein Herr, wann er kommt, findet also tun.
Blessed is that seruant, whom his master when he commeth, shall finde so doing.
44 Wahrhaftig, ich sage euch: er wird ihn über all seine Güter setzen.
Of a trueth I say vnto you, that he wil make him ruler ouer all that he hath.
45 Wenn aber jener Knecht spräche in seinem Herzen: Es verzieht mein Herr zu kommen, und finge an, die Knechte und Mägde zu schlagen, und zu essen, und zu trinken, und sich voll zu laufen,
But if that seruant say in his heart, My master doeth deferre his comming, and ginne to smite the seruants, and maydens, and to eate, and drinke, and to be drunken,
46 So wird der Herr jenes Knechtes kommen am Tage, an welchem er es nicht vermeint, und zu der Stunde, die er nicht weiß, und wird ihn zerscheitern, und ihm sein Teil mit den Untreuen geben.
The master of that seruant will come in a day when he thinketh not, and at an houre when he is not ware of, and will cut him off, and giue him his portion with the vnbeleeuers.
47 Jener Knecht aber, der seines Herrn Willen weiß, und hat sich nicht bereitet, noch getan nach seinem Willen, der wird viele Streiche leiden;
And that seruant that knewe his masters will, and prepared not himselfe, neither did according to his will, shalbe beaten with many stripes.
48 Der aber nicht weiß und hat getan, das der Schläge wert ist, wird wenige Streiche leiden. Und von jedem, dem viel gegeben wird, wird man viel fordern, und wem viel anvertraut ist, von dem wird man umsomehr verlangen.
But he that knewe it not, and yet did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with fewe stripes: for vnto whomsoeuer much is giuen, of him shalbe much required, and to whom men much commit, the more of him will they aske.
49 Ich bin gekommen, Feuer auf die Erde zu werfen, und was möchte ich? Ach daß es schon angezündet wäre!
I am come to put fire on the earth, and what is my desire, if it be already kindled?
50 Aber ich muß mich taufen lassen, mit einer Taufe, und wie bange ist mir, bis sie vollbracht ist!
Notwithstanding I must be baptized with a baptisme, and how am I grieued, till it be ended?
51 Meinet ihr, daß ich gekommen bin, Frieden zu bringen auf Erden? Nein, sage ich euch, sondern Entzweiung.
Thinke ye that I am come to giue peace on earth? I tell you, nay, but rather debate.
52 Denn es werden, von nun an, fünf in einem Hause entzweit sein, drei wider zwei, und zwei wider drei.
For from hencefoorth there shall be fiue in one house deuided, three against two, and two against three.
53 Es wird entzweit sein der Vater wider den Sohn, und der Sohn wider den Vater; die Mutter wider die Tochter, und die Tochter wider die Mutter; die Schwieger wider ihre Schnur, und die Schnur wider ihre Schwieger.
The father shalbe deuided against ye sonne, and the sonne against the father: the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother: the mother in lawe against her daughter in lawe, and the daughter in lawe against her mother in lawe.
54 Er sagte aber auch zu den Volkshaufen: Wenn ihr eine Wolke aufgehen sehet vom Abend, so saget ihr alsbald: Es kommt Regen; und es geschieht also.
Then said he to the people, When ye see a cloude rise out of the West, straightway ye say, A shower commeth: and so it is.
55 Und wenn Südwind weht, so saget ihr: Es wird eine Hitze geben; Und es geschieht.
And when ye see the South winde blowe, ye say, that it wilbe hoate: and it commeth to passe.
56 Heuchler! das Aussehen der Erde und des Himmels wisset ihr zu beurteilen; wie beurteilet ihr aber diese Zeit nicht?
Hypocrites, ye can discerne the face of the earth, and of the skie: but why discerne ye not this time?
57 Warum richtet ihr aber nicht von selbst, was recht ist?
Yea, and why iudge ye not of your selues what is right?
58 Denn wenn du hingehst mit deinem Widersacher vor die Obrigkeit, so tue Fleiß auf dem Wege von ihm loszukommen, damit er dich nicht hinschleppe vor den Richter, und der Richter übergebe dich dem Stockmeister, und der Stockmeister werfe dich ins Gefängnis.
While thou goest with thine aduersarie to the ruler, as thou art in the way, giue diligence in the way, that thou mayest be deliuered from him, least he drawe thee to the iudge, and the iudge deliuer thee to the iayler, and the iayler cast thee into prison.
59 Ich sage dir, du wirst nicht von dannen herauskommen, bis du auch den letzten Heller bezahlt hast.
I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast payed the vtmost mite.
