Johannes 3
1 Es war aber ein Mensch von den Pharisäern, mit Namen Nikodemus, ein Oberster der Juden.
But there was one of the Pharishee whose name was Nikodimos, a ruler of the Jihudoyee:
2 Der kam zu ihm bei Nacht, und sprach zu ihm: Rabbi, wir wissen, daß du, als Lehrer, von Gott gekommen bist; denn niemand kann die Zeichen tun, die du tust, es sei denn Gott mit ihm.
this came to Jeshu in the night, and said to him, Rabi, we know that from Aloha thou art sent a teacher; for no man can these signs perform which thou doest, unless Aloha be with him.
3 Jesus antwortete, und sprach zu ihm: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage dir: Es sei denn, daß jemand von oben geboren werde, so kann er die Gottesherrschaft nicht sehen.
Jeshu answered and said to him, Amen, amen, I say to thee, Except a man be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of Aloha.
4 Nikodemus spricht zu ihm: Wie kann ein Mensch geboren werden, wenn er alt ist? Kann er zum zweitenmal in seiner Mutter Leib hineingehen, und geboren werden?
Nikodimos said to him, How can an old man be born? Who can again the womb of his mother the second time enter, and be born?
5 Jesus antwortete: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage dir: Es sei denn, daß jemand geboren werde aus Wasser und Geist, so kann er nicht in die Gottesherrschaft eingehen.
Jeshu answered and said to him, Amen, amen, I say to thee, That if a man be not born of waters and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Aloha.
6 Was vom Fleisch geboren ist, das ist Fleisch, und was vom Geist geboren ist, daß ist Geist.
Whatever is born of the flesh, is flesh; and whatever is born of the Spirit, is spirit.
7 Verwundere dich nicht, daß ich dir sagte: Ihr müßt von oben geboren werden.
Wonder not that I have said to thee, that it behoves you to be born anew.
8 Der Wind wehet, wo er will, und du hörest sein Sausen, aber du weißt nicht, woher er kommt, und wohin er geht; so ist jeder, der aus dem Geist geboren ist.
The wind bloweth where she willeth, and her voice thou hearest; but thou knowest not whence she cometh, nor whither she goeth: so is every man who is born of the Spirit.
9 Nikodemus antwortete, und sprach zu ihm: Wie kann solches geschehen?
Nikodimos answered and said to him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus antwortete, und sprach zu ihm: Du bist der Lehrer Israels, und weißt das nicht?
Jeshu answered and said to him, Art thou Malphona of Israel, and these knowest not?
11 Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage dir: Was wir wissen, reden wir, und was wir gesehen haben, bezeugen wir; und unser Zeugnis nehmet ihr nicht an.
Amen, amen, I say to thee, What we know we speak, and what we have seen we testify; but our testimony you receive not.
12 Wenn ich euch von irdischen Dingen sprach, und ihr nicht glaubet, wie werdet ihr glauben, wenn ich euch von himmlischen (göttlichen) Dingen spreche?
If of (what is) on earth I tell you, and you believe not, how if I tell you of (what is) in heaven, could you believe me?
13 Und niemand ist in den Himmel gekommen, außer der aus dem Himmel Herabgekommene, der Menschensohn der im Himmel ist.
AND no man hath ascended into heaven, but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man, he who is in heaven.
14 Und wie Moses die Schlange in der Wüste erhöht hat, so muß der Menschensohn erhöht werden,
And as Musha elevated the serpent in the wilderness, so is to be elevated the Son of man,
that every man who believeth in him might not perish, but have the life which is eternal. (aiōnios g166)
16 Denn also hat Gott die Welt geliebt, daß er (ihr) seinen eingeborenen Sohn gab, auf daß jeder, der an ihn glaubt, nicht verloren werde, sondern ewiges Leben habe. (aiōnios g166)
For so loved Aloha the world, as his Son, the Only-begotten, he would give, that every one who believeth in him might not perish, but have the life which is eternal. (aiōnios g166)
17 Denn Gott hat seinen Sohn nicht gesandt in die Welt, daß er die Welt richte, sondern daß die Welt durch ihn errettet werde.
For Aloha sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might live by him.
18 Wer an ihn glaubt, wird nicht gerichtet; wer aber nicht glaubt, der ist schon gerichtet, denn er hat nicht geglaubt an den Namen des eingeborenen Sohnes Gottes.
He who believeth on him is not judged, and he who believeth not is judged already, because he believeth not in the name of the only-begotten Son of Aloha.
19 Dies ist aber das Gericht, daß das Licht in die Welt gekommen ist, und die Menschen die Finsternis mehr liebten, als das Licht, denn ihre Werke waren böse.
And this is the judgment, that the light hath come into the world, and the sons of men have loved darkness rather than the light, for their deeds have been evil.
20 Denn jeder, der Arges tut, haßt das Licht, und kommt nicht zu dem Licht, damit seine Werke nicht gestraft werden.
For every one who doeth abominable things hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 Wer aber die Wahrheit tut, kommt zu dem Licht, daß seine Werke offenbar werden, weil sie in Gott getan sind.
But he who doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be known that in Aloha they are wrought.
22 Darnach kam Jesus und seine Jünger in das judäische Land, und verweilten daselbst mit ihnen, und taufte.
AFTER these came Jeshu and his disciples into the land of Jihuda, and there conversed with them and baptized.
23 Johannes taufte aber auch in Änon, nahe bei Salim, denn es war viel Wasser daselbst. Und sie kamen dahin, und ließen sich taufen.
But Juchanon also was baptizing in Ein-yon, near Sholim, because the waters were there many; and they came and were baptized;
24 Denn Johannes war noch nicht ins Gefängnis geworfen.
for not yet was Juchanon cast into the house of the bound.
25 Da erhob sich eine Streitfrage von seiten der Jünger Johannis mit einem Juden wegen der Reinigung.
But there was a question with some of the disciples of Juchanon (and) a certain Jihudoya, upon purification.
26 Und sie kamen zu Johannes, und sprachen zu ihm: Rabbi, der bei dir war, jenseits des Jordans, welchem du Zeugnis gabst, siehe, der tauft, und alle gehen zu ihm.
And they came to Juchanon, and said to him, Raban, he who was with thee at the passage of Jurdan, (and) concerning whom thou didst give witness, he also baptizeth, and many come to him.
27 Johannes antwortete, und sprach: Ein Mensch kann nichts nehmen, es werde ihm denn gegeben aus dem Himmel.
Juchanon answered and said to them, A man cannot receive of his own will any thing, unless it be given to him from heaven.
28 Ihr selbst seid meine Zeugen, daß ich gesagt habe: Ich bin nicht der Messias, sondern vor demselben hergesandt.
You bear me witness that I said, I am not the Meshicha, but I am an apostle before him.
29 Wer die Braut hat, der ist der Bräutigam; der Freund aber des Bräutigams, der dasteht, und seine Stimme hört, freut sich hoch über des Bräutigams Stimme. Diese meine Freude ist nun erfüllt.
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who standeth and attendeth him, with great joy rejoiceth on account of the voice of the bridegroom: this my joy therefore, behold, is complete.
30 Jener muß wachsen, ich aber abnehmen.
To him it must be to increase, and to me to decrease.
31 Der von oben (von Gott) her kommt, ist über alle. Wer von der Erde ist, der ist von der Erde, und redet von der Erde her. Der aus dem Himmel kommt der ist über alle.
For he who from above hath come, is above all; and he who is from the earth, is of the earth, and of the earth speaketh: he who from heaven hath come, is above all.
32 Und bezeugt, was er gesehen und gehört hat, und sein Zeugnis nimmt niemand an.
And what he hath seen and heard he testifieth, and his testimony no man receiveth.
33 Wer sein Zeugnis angenommen, der hat es besiegelt, daß Gott wahrhaftig ist,
But he who hath received his testimony, hath sealed that the true Aloha is he.
34 Denn der, welchen Gott gesandt hat, redet Gottes Worte, denn Gott gibt den Geist nicht nach dem Maß.
For he whom Aloha hath sent, the very words of Aloha speaketh; for it was not in measure that Aloha gave the Spirit.
35 Der Vater liebt den Sohn, und hat alles in seine Hand gegeben.
The Father loveth the Son, and every thing hath he given into his hands.
36 Wer an den Sohn glaubt, der hat ewiges Leben, wer aber dem Sohne ungehorsam ist, der wird kein Leben sehen, sondern der Zorn Gottes bleibt auf ihn (gerichtet). (aiōnios g166)
He who believeth in the Son hath the life which is eternal; and he who obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Aloha remaineth on him. (aiōnios g166)
