Lukas 10
1 Danach sonderte der HERR andere siebzig aus und sandte sie zwei und zwei vor sich her in alle Städte und Orte, da er wollte hinkommen.
After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, where he himself would come.
2 Und sprach zu ihnen: Die Ernte ist groß, der Arbeiter aber ist wenig; bittet den HERRN der Ernte, daß er Arbeiter aussende in seine Ernte!
Therefore said he to them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Gehet hin! Siehe, ich sende euch als die Lämmer mitten unter die Wölfe.
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Traget keinen Beutel noch Tasche noch Schuhe und grüßet niemand auf der Straße.
Carry neither purse, nor sack, nor shoes: and greet no man by the way.
5 Wo ihr in ein Haus kommt, da sprechet zuerst: Friede sei in diesem Hause!
And into whatever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 Und so daselbst wird ein Kind des Friedens sein, so wird euer Friede auf ihm beruhen; wo aber nicht, so wird sich euer Friede wieder zu euch wenden.
And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 In demselbigen Hause aber bleibet, esset und trinket, was sie haben; denn ein Arbeiter ist seines Lohnes wert. Ihr sollt nicht von, einem Hause zum andern gehen.
And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 Und wo ihr in eine Stadt kommt, und sie euch aufnehmen, da esset, was euch wird vorgetragen,
And into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 und heilet die Kranken, die daselbst sind, und saget ihnen: Das Reich Gottes ist nahe zu euch kommen.
And heal the sick that are in it, and say to them, The kingdom of God is come near to you.
10 Wo ihr aber in eine Stadt kommet, da sie euch nicht aufnehmen, da gehet heraus auf ihre Gassen und sprecht:
But into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 Auch den Staub, der sich an uns gehänget hat von eurer Stadt, schlagen wir ab auf euch; doch sollt ihr wissen, daß euch das Reich Gottes nahe gewesen ist.
Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: however be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come near to you.
12 Ich sage euch: Es wird Sodom erträglicher ergehen an jenem Tage denn solcher Stadt.
But I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 Wehe dir, Chorazin! Wehe dir, Bethsaida! Denn wären solche Taten zu Tyrus und Sidon geschehen, die bei euch geschehen sind, sie hätten vorzeiten im Sack und in der Asche gesessen und Buße getan.
Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 Doch es wird Tyrus und Sidon erträglicher ergehen am Gerichte denn euch.
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
15 Und du, Kapernaum, die du bis an den Himmel erhoben bist, du wirst in die Hölle hinuntergestoßen werden. (Hadēs g86)
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell. (Hadēs g86)
16 Wer euch höret, der höret mich, und wer euch verachtet, der verachtet mich; wer aber mich verachtet, der verachtet den, der mich gesandt hat.
He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
17 Die Siebzig aber kamen wieder mit Freuden und sprachen: HERR, es sind uns auch die Teufel untertan in deinem Namen.
And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through thy name.
18 Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Ich sah wohl den Satanas vom Himmel fallen als einen Blitz.
And he said to them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Sehet, ich habe euch Macht gegeben, zu treten auf Schlangen und Skorpione, und über alle Gewalt des Feindes; und nichts wird euch beschädigen.
Behold, I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Doch darin freuet euch nicht, daß euch die Geister untertan sind, freuet euch aber, daß eure Namen im Himmel geschrieben sind.
However in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
21 Zu der Stunde freuete sich Jesus im Geist und sprach: Ich preise dich, Vater und HERR Himmels und der Erde, daß du solches verborgen hast den Weisen und Klugen und hast es offenbart den Unmündigen: Ja, Vater, also war es wohlgefällig vor dir.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
22 Es ist mir alles übergeben von meinem Vater. Und niemand weiß, wer der Sohn sei, denn nur der Vater, noch wer der Vater sei, denn nur der Sohn, und welchem es der Sohn will offenbaren.
All things are delivered to me by my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
23 Und er wandte sich zu seinen Jüngern und sprach insonderheit: Selig sind die Augen, die da sehen, was ihr sehet.
And he turned himself to his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
24 Denn ich sage euch: Viel Propheten und Könige wollten sehen, was ihr sehet, und haben's nicht gesehen; und hören, was ihr höret, und haben's nicht gehöret.
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see the things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear the things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
25 Und siehe, da stund ein Schriftgelehrter auf, versuchte ihn und sprach: Meister, was muß ich tun, daß ich das ewige Leben ererbe? (aiōnios g166)
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
26 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Wie stehet im Gesetz geschrieben? Wie liesest du?
He said to him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 Er antwortete und sprach: Du sollst Gott, deinen HERRN, lieben von ganzem Herzen, von ganzer Seele, von allen Kräften und von ganzem Gemüt und deinen Nächsten als dich selbst.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Du hast recht geantwortet; tue das, so wirst du leben.
And he said to him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 Er aber wollte sich selbst rechtfertigen und sprach zu Jesu: Wer ist denn mein Nächster?
But he, wishing to justify himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 Da antwortete Jesus und sprach: Es war ein Mensch, der ging von Jerusalem hinab gen Jericho und fiel unter die Mörder; die zogen ihn aus und schlugen ihn und gingen davon und ließen ihn halbtot liegen.
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 Es begab sich aber ohngefähr, daß ein Priester dieselbige Straße hinabzog; und da er ihn sah, ging er vorüber.
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 Desselbigengleichen auch ein Levit: da er kam zu der Stätte und sah ihn, ging er vorüber.
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 Ein Samariter aber reisete und kam dahin; und da er ihn sah, jammerte ihn sein,
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 ging zu ihm, verband ihm seine Wunden und goß drein Öl und Wein und hub ihn auf sein Tier und führete ihn in die Herberge und pflegete sein.
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 Des andern Tages reisete er und zog heraus zwei Groschen und gab sie dem Wirt und sprach zu ihm; Pflege sein; und so du was mehr wirst dartun, will ich dir's bezahlen, wenn ich wiederkomme.
And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said to him, Take care of him; and whatever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Welcher dünket dich, der unter diesen dreien der Nächste, sei gewesen dem, der unter die Mörder gefallen war?
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour to him that fell among the thieves?
37 Er sprach: Der die Barmherzigkeit an ihm tat. Da sprach Jesus zu ihm: So gehe hin und tue desgleichen!
And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus to him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 Es begab sich aber, da sie wandelten, ging er in einen Markt. Da war ein Weib mit Namen Martha, die nahm ihn auf in ihr Haus.
Now it came to pass, as they were going, he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39 Und sie hatte eine Schwester, die hieß Maria; die setzte sich zu Jesu Füßen und hörete seiner Rede zu.
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
40 Martha aber machte sich viel zu schaffen, ihm zu dienen. Und sie trat hinzu und sprach: HERR, fragst du nicht danach, daß mich meine Schwester lässet alleine dienen? Sage ihr doch, daß sie es auch angreife!
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 Jesus aber antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Martha, Martha, du hast viel Sorge und Mühe!
And Jesus answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, thou art worried and troubled about many things:
42 Eines aber ist not: Maria hat das gute Teil erwählet; das soll nicht von ihr genommen werden.
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
