5 Mose 30

1 Wenn nun über dich kommt dies alles, es sei der Segen oder der Fluch, die ich dir vorgelegt habe, und in dein Herz gehest, wo du unter den Heiden bist, da dich der HERR, dein Gott, hin verstoßen hat,

Therfor whanne alle these wordis comen on thee, blessyng ether cursing, which Y settide forth in thi siyt, and thou art led bi repentaunce of thin herte among alle folkis, in to whiche thi Lord God hath scaterid thee,

2 und bekehrest dich zu dem HERRN, deinem Gott, daß du seiner Stimme gehorchest, du und deine Kinder, von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele in allem, das ich dir heute gebiete,

and turnest ayen to hym, and obeiest to hise comaundementis, as Y comaundide to thee to dai, with thi sones, in al thin herte and in al thi soule,

3 so wird der HERR, dein Gott, dein Gefängnis wenden und sich deiner erbarmen und wird dich wieder versammeln aus allen Völkern, dahin dich der HERR, dein Gott, verstreuet hat.

thi Lord God schal lede thee ayen fro thi caitifte, and schal haue mercy on thee, and eft he schal gadre thee from alle puplis, in to whiche he scateride the bifore.

4 Wenn du bis an der Himmel Ende verstoßen wärest, so wird dich doch der HERR, dein Gott, von dannen sammeln und dich von dannen holen;

If thou art scaterid to the endis of heuene, fro thennus thi Lord God schal withdrawe thee;

5 und wird dich in das Land bringen, das deine Väter besessen haben, und wirst es einnehmen, und wird dir Gutes tun und dich mehren über deine Väter.

and he schal take and schal bringe thee in to the lond which thi fadris weldiden; and thou schalt holde it, and he schal blesse thee, and schal make thee to be of more noumbre than thi fadris weren.

6 Und der HERR, dein Gott, wird dein Herz beschneiden und das Herz deines Samens, daß du den HERRN, deinen Gott, liebest von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele, auf daß du leben mögest.

Thi Lord God schal circumcide thin herte, and the herte of thi seed, that thou loue thi Lord God in al thin herte and in al thi soule, and maist liue.

7 Aber diese Flüche wird der HERR, dein Gott, alle auf deine Feinde legen und auf die, die dich hassen und verfolgen.

Forsothe the Lord schal turne alle these cursyngis on thin enemyes, and on hem that haten and pursuen thee.

8 Du aber wirst dich bekehren und der Stimme des HERRN gehorchen, daß du tust alle seine Gebote, die ich dir heute gebiete.

Sotheli thou schalt turne ayen, and schalt here the vois of thi Lord God, and schalt do alle the heestis whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai;

9 Und der HERR, dein Gott, wird dir Glück geben in allen Werken deiner Hände, an der Frucht deines Leibes, an der Frucht deines Viehes, an der Frucht deines Landes, daß dir's zu gut komme. Denn der HERR wird sich wenden, daß er sich über dir freue, dir zu gut, wie er sich über deinen Vätern gefreuet hat,

and thi Lord God schal make thee to be plenteuouse, in alle the workis of thin hondis, in the children of thi wombe, and in the fruyt of thi beestis, in abundaunce of thi lond, and in largenesse of alle thingis. For the Lord schal turne ayen, that he haue ioye on thee in alle goodis, as he ioyede in thi fadris;

10 darum daß du der Stimme des HERRN, deines Gottes; gehorchest, zu halten seine Gebote und Rechte, die geschrieben stehen im Buch dieses Gesetzes, so du dich wirst bekehren zu dem HERRN, deinem Gott, von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele.

if netheles thou herist the voys of thi Lord God, and kepist hise heestis and cerymonys, that ben writun in this lawe, and thou turne ayen to thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule.

11 Denn das Gebot, das ich dir heute gebiete, ist dir nicht verborgen, noch zu ferne,

This comaundement whiche Y comaunde to thee to day,

12 noch im Himmel, daß du möchtest sagen: Wer will uns in den Himmel fahren und uns holen, daß wir's hören und tun?

is not aboue thee, nethir is set fer, nethir is set in heuene, that thou maist seie, Who of vs may stie to heuene, that he brynge it to vs, and we here, and fille in werk?

13 Es ist auch nicht jenseit des Meers, daß du möchtest sagen: Wer will uns über das Meer fahren und uns holen, daß wir's hören und tun?

nether it is set biyende the see, `that thou pleyne, and seye, Who of vs may passe ouer the see, and brynge it til to vs, that we moun here and do that that is comaundid?

14 Denn es ist das Wort fast nahe bei dir in deinem Munde und in deinem Herzen, daß du es tust.

But the word is ful nyy thee, in thi mouth and in thin herte, that thou do it.

15 Siehe, ich habe dir heute vorgelegt das Leben und das Gute, den Tod und das Böse;

Biholde thou, that to day Y haue set forth in thi siyt lijf and good, and ayenward deeth and yuel;

16 der ich dir heute gebiete, daß du den HERRN, deinen Gott, liebest und wandelst in seinen Wegen, und seine Gebote, Gesetze und Rechte haltest und leben mögest und gemehret werdest, daß dich der HERR, dein Gott, segne im Lande, da du einzeuchst, dasselbe einzunehmen.

that thou loue thi Lord God, and go in hise weies, and kepe hise heestis, and cerymonyes, and domes; and that thou lyue, and he multiplie thee, and blesse thee in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde.

17 Wendest du aber dein Herz und gehorchest nicht, sondern lässest dich verführen, daß du andere Götter anbetest und ihnen dienest,

But if thin herte is turned awey, and thou nylt here, and thou art disseyued bi errour, and worschipist alien goddis,

18 so verkündige ich euch heute, daß ihr umkommen werdet und nicht lange in dem Lande bleiben, da du hineinzeuchst über den Jordan, dasselbe einzunehmen.

and seruest hem, Y biforseie to thee to dai, that thou schalt perische, and schalt dwelle litil tyme in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde, whanne thou schalt passe Jordan.

19 Ich nehme Himmel und Erde heute über euch zu Zeugen. Ich habe euch Leben und Tod, Segen und Fluch vorgelegt, daß du das Leben erwählest und du und dein Same leben mögest,

Y clepe to day heuene and erthe witnesses, that is, aungels and men, that Y haue set forth to you lijf and deeth, good and yuel, blessyng and cursyng; therfor chese thou lijf, that bothe thou lyue and thi seed,

20 daß ihr den HERRN, euren Gott, liebet und seiner Stimme gehorchet und ihm anhanget. Denn das ist dein Leben und dein langes Alter, daß du im Lande wohnest, das der HERR deinen Vätern, Abraham, Isaak und Jakob, geschworen hat, ihnen zu geben.

and that thou loue thi Lord God, and obeie to his vois, and cleue to hym, for he is thi lijf, and the lengthe of thi daies; that thou dwelle in the lond, for which the Lord swoor to thi fadris, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that he schulde yyue it to hem.
