5 Mose 12
1 Das sind die Gebote und Rechte, die ihr halten sollt, daß ihr danach tut im Lande, das der HERR, deiner Väter Gott, dir gegeben hat einzunehmen, solange ihr auf Erden lebet.
These ben the heestis and domes, whiche ye owen to do, in the lond which the Lord God of thi fadrys schal yyue to thee, that thou welde it, in alle daies in whiche thou schalt go on erthe.
2 Verstöret alle Orte, da die Heiden, die ihr einnehmen werdet, ihren Göttern gedienet haben, es sei auf hohen Bergen, auf Hügeln oder unter grünen Bäumen;
Distrie ye alle the places wherynne hethen men whiche ye schulen welde, worschipiden her goddis, on hiy mounteyns, and litle hillis, and vndur ech tre ful of bowis.
3 und reißet um ihre Altäre und zerbrechet ihre Säulen und verbrennet mit Feuer ihre Haine; und die Götzen ihrer Götter tut ab und vertilget ihren Namen aus demselben Ort.
Distrie ye `the auteris of hem, and `breke ye the ymagis; brenne ye the wodis with fier, and al to breke ye the idolis; destrie ye `the names of hem fro the places.
4 Ihr sollt dem HERRN, eurem Gott, nicht also tun,
Ye schulen not do so to youre Lord God;
5 sondern an dem Ort, den der HERR, euer Gott, erwählen wird aus allen euren Stämmen, daß er seinen Namen daselbst lässet wohnen, sollt ihr forschen und dahin kommen
but ye schulen come to the place which youre Lord God chees of alle youre lynagis, that he putte his name there, and dwelle therynne;
6 und eure Brandopfer, und eure anderen Opfer und eure Zehnten und eurer Hände Hebe und eure Gelübde und eure freiwilligen Opfer und die Erstgeburt eurer Rinder und Schafe dahin bringen.
and ye schulen come, and schulen offre in that place youre brent sacrifices, and slayn sacrifices, the dymes, and firste fruytis of youre hondis, and avowis and yiftis, the firste gendrid thingis of oxun, and of scheep.
7 Und sollt daselbst vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott, essen und fröhlich sein über allem, das ihr und euer Haus bringet, darinnen dich der HERR, dein Gott, gesegnet hat.
And ye and youre housis schulen ete there in the siyt of youre Lord God; and ye schulen be glad in alle thingis to whiche ye putten hond, in whiche youre Lord God blesside you.
8 Ihr sollt der keins tun, das wir heute allhie tun, ein jeglicher, was ihn recht dünket.
Ye schulen not do there tho thingis whiche we don here to dai, ech man that semeth riytful to `hym silf.
9 Denn ihr seid bisher noch nicht zur Ruhe kommen noch zu dem Erbteil, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, geben wird.
For `til in to present tyme ye camen not to reste and possessioun, which the Lord God schal yyue to you.
10 Ihr werdet aber über den Jordan gehen und im Lande wohnen, das euch der HERR, euer Gott, wird zum Erbe austeilen, und wird euch Ruhe geben von allen euren Feinden um euch her, und werdet sicher wohnen.
Ye schulen passe Jordan, and ye schulen dwelle in the lond which youre Lord God schal yyue to you, that ye reste fro alle enemyes `bi cumpas, and dwelle without ony drede.
11 Wenn nun der HERR, dein Gott, einen Ort erwählet, daß sein Name daselbst wohne, sollt ihr daselbst hinbringen alles, was ich euch gebiete: eure Brandopfer, eure anderen Opfer, eure Zehnten, eurer Hände Hebe und alle eure freien Gelübde, die ihr dem HERRN geloben werdet.
In the place which youre Lord God chees that his name be therynne. Thidur ye schulen bere alle thingis, whiche Y comaunde, brent sacrifices, and sacrifices, and the dymes, and firste fruytis of youre hondis, and what euere is the beste in yiftis, whiche ye auowiden to the Lord.
12 Und sollt fröhlich sein vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott, ihr und eure Söhne und eure Töchter und eure Knechte und eure Mägde und die Leviten, die in euren Toren sind; denn sie haben kein Teil noch Erbe mit euch.
Ther ye schulen ete bifor youre Lord God, ye, and youre sones and douytris, youre seruauntis, and seruauntessis, and the dekenes, that dwellen in youre citees; for thei han not other part and possessioun among you.
13 Hüte dich, daß du nicht deine Brandopfer opferst an allen Orten, die du siehest,
Be thou war lest thou offre thi brent sacrifices in ech place which thou seest,
14 sondern an dem Ort, den der HERR erwählet in irgendeinem deiner Stämme, da sollst du dein Brandopfer opfern und tun alles, was ich dir gebiete.
but in that place which the Lord chees in oon of thi lynagis thou schalt offre sacrifices, and schalt do what euer thingis Y comaunde to thee.
15 Doch magst du schlachten und Fleisch essen in allen deinen Toren nach aller Lust deiner Seele, nach dem Segen des HERRN, deines Gottes, den er dir gegeben hat; beide der Reine und der Unreine mögen's essen, wie ein Reh oder Hirsch.
Forsothe if thou wolt ete, and the etyng of fleischis delitith thee, sle thou, and ete, bi the blessyng of thi Lord God, which he yaf to thee in thi citees, whether it is vnclene, `that is, spottid ether wemmed and feble, ether clene, `that is, hool in membris and with out wem, which is leueful to be offrid, thou schalt ete as a capret and hert; oneli without etyng of blood,
16 Ohne das Blut sollst du nicht essen, sondern auf die Erde gießen, wie Wasser.
which thou schalt schede out as watir on the erthe.
17 Du magst aber nicht essen in deinen Toren vom Zehnten deines Getreides, deines Mosts, deines Öls, noch von der Erstgeburt deiner Rinder, deiner Schafe oder von irgend einem deiner Gelübde, die du gelobet hast, oder von deinem freiwilligen Opfer, oder von deiner Hand Hebe;
Thou schalt not mowe ete in thi citees the tithis of thi wheete, wyn, and oile, the firste gendrid thingis of droues, and of scheep, and alle thingis whiche thou hast avowid and wolt offre bi fre wille, and the firste fruytis of thin hondis;
18 sondern vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, sollst du solches essen an dem Ort, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählet, du und deine Söhne, deine Töchter, deine Knechte, deine Mägde und der Levit, der in deinem Tor ist; und sollst fröhlich sein vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, über allem, das du bringest.
but thou schalt ete tho bifor thi Lord God, in the place which thi Lord God chees, thou, and thi sone, and douyter, seruaunt, and seruauntesse, and the dekene that dwellith in thi citees; and thou schalt be glad, and schalt be fillid bifor thi Lord God in alle thingis to whiche thou holdist forth thin hond.
19 Und hüte dich, daß du den Leviten nicht verlässest, solange du auf Erden lebest.
Be thou war lest thou forsake the dekene in al tyme, `in which thou lyuest in erthe.
20 Wenn aber der HERR, dein Gott, deine Grenze weitern wird, wie er dir geredet hat, und sprichst: Ich will Fleisch essen, weil deine Seele Fleisch zu essen gelüstet, so iß Fleisch nach aller Lust deiner Seele.
Whanne thi Lord God hath alargid thi termes, as he spak to thee, and thou wolt ete fleischis, whiche thi soule desirith,
21 Ist aber die Stätte ferne von dir, die der HERR, dein Gott, erwählet hat, daß er seinen Namen daselbst wohnen lasse, so schlachte von deinen Rindern oder Schafen, die dir der HERR gegeben hat, wie ich dir geboten habe, und iß es in deinen Toren nach aller Lust deiner Seele.
forsothe if the place is fer, which thi Lord God chees, that his name be there, thou schalt sle of thin oxun, and scheep, whiche thou hast, as `the Lord comaundide to thee; and thou schalt ete in thi citees as it plesith thee.
22 Wie man ein Reh oder Hirsch isset, magst du es essen; beide der Reine und der Unreine mögen's zugleich essen.
As a capret and hert is etun, so thou schalt ete tho; bothe a cleene man and vncleene schulen ete therof in comyn.
23 Allein merke, daß du das Blut nicht essest; denn das Blut ist die Seele, darum sollst du die Seele nicht mit dem Fleisch essen,
Oneli eschewe thou this, that thou ete not blood; for the blood `of tho beestis is for the lijf, and therfor thou owist not ete the lijf with fleischis,
24 sondern sollst es auf die Erde gießen, wie Wasser.
but thou schalt schede as watir `the blood on the erthe,
25 Und sollst es darum nicht essen, daß dir's wohlgehe und deinen Kindern nach dir, daß du getan hast, was recht ist vor dem HERRN.
that it be wel to thee, and to thi sones after thee, whanne thou hast do that, that plesith in the siyt of the Lord.
26 Aber wenn du etwas heiligen willst von dem Deinen, oder geloben, so sollst du es aufladen und bringen an den Ort, den der HERR erwählet hat,
Sotheli thou schalt take that that thou `auowidist, and halewidist to the Lord, and thou schalt come to the place which the Lord chees;
27 und dein Brandopfer mit Fleisch und Blut tun auf den Altar des HERRN, deines Gottes. Das Blut deines Opfers sollst du gießen auf den Altar des HERRN, deines Gottes, und das Fleisch essen.
and thou schalt offre thin offryngis, fleischis, and blood, on the auter of thi Lord God; thou schalt schede in the auter the blood of sacrifices; forsothe thou schalt ete the fleischis.
28 Siehe zu und höre alle diese Worte, die ich dir gebiete, auf daß dir's wohlgehe und deinen Kindern nach dir ewiglich, daß du getan hast, was recht und gefällig ist vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott.
Kepe thou and here alle thingis whiche Y comaunde to thee, that it be wel to thee, and to thi sones after thee, with outen ende, whanne thou hast do that, that is good and plesaunt in the siyt of thi Lord God.
29 Wenn der HERR, dein Gott, vor dir her die Heiden ausrottet, daß du hinkommest, sie einzunehmen, und sie eingenommen hast und in ihrem Lande wohnest,
Whanne thi Lord God hath distryed bifor thi face folkis, to whiche thou schalt entre to welde, and thou hast weldid tho folkis, and hast dwellid in `the lond of hem,
30 so hüte dich, daß du nicht in den Strick fallest ihnen nach, nachdem sie vertilget sind vor dir, und nicht fragest nach ihren Göttern und sprechest: Wie diese Völker haben ihren Göttern gedienet, also will ich auch tun.
be thou war lest thou sue hem, aftir that thei ben distried, whanne thou entrist, and thou seke `the cerymonyes of hem, and seie, As these folkis worschipyden her goddis, so and Y schal worschipe.
31 Du sollst nicht also an dem HERRN, deinem Gott, tun; denn sie haben ihren Göttern getan alles, was dem HERRN ein Greuel ist, und das er hasset; denn sie haben auch ihre Söhne und Töchter mit Feuer verbrannt ihren Göttern.
Thou schalt not do in lijk manere to thi Lord God; for thei diden to her goddis alle abhomynaciouns whiche the Lord wlatith, and offriden her sones and douytris, and brenten with fier.
32 Alles, was ich euch gebiete, das sollt ihr halten, daß ihr danach tut. Ihr sollt nichts dazutun noch davontun.
Do thou to the Lord this thing oneli which Y comaunde to thee, nethir adde thou ony thing, nether abate.
