2 Chronik 29
1 Jehiskia war fünfundzwanzig Jahre alt, da er König ward, und regierete neunundzwanzig Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Abia, eine Tochter Sacharjas.
Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old; and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
2 Und er tat, das dem HERRN wohlgefiel, wie sein Vater David.
He did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.
3 Er tat auf die Türen am Hause des HERRN im ersten Monden des ersten Jahrs seines Königreichs und befestigte sie.
He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.
4 Und brachte hinein die Priester und Leviten und versammelte sie auf der breiten Gasse gegen Morgen
He brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the broad place on the east,
5 und sprach zu ihnen: Höret mir zu, ihr Leviten! Heiliget euch nun, daß ihr heiliget das Haus des HERRN, eurer Väter Gottes, und tut heraus den Unflat aus dem Heiligtum.
and said to them, "Listen to me, you Levites. Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filthiness out of the holy place.
6 Denn unsere Väter haben sich vergriffen und getan, das dem HERRN, unserm Gott, übel gefällt, und haben ihn verlassen. Denn sie haben ihr Angesicht von der Wohnung des HERRN gewandt und den Rücken zugekehret;
For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the sight of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
7 und haben die Tür an der Halle zugeschlossen und die Lampen ausgelöschet und kein Räuchwerk geräuchert und kein Brandopfer getan im Heiligtum dem Gott Israels.
Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.
8 Daher ist der Zorn des HERRN über Juda und Jerusalem kommen und hat sie gegeben in Zerstreuung und Verwüstung, daß man sie anpfeifet, wie ihr mit euren Augen sehet.
Therefore the wrath of the LORD was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment, and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
9 Denn siehe, um desselben willen sind unsere Väter gefallen durchs Schwert, unsere Söhne, Töchter und Weiber sind weggeführt.
For, look, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
10 Nun habe ich's im Sinn, einen Bund zu machen mit dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, daß sein Zorn und Grimm sich von uns wende.
Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
11 Nun, meine Söhne, seid nicht hinlässig; denn euch hat der HERR erwählet, daß ihr vor ihm stehen sollet, und daß ihr seine Diener und Räucherer seid.
My sons, do not be negligent now; for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers, and burn incense."
12 Da machten sich auf die Leviten: Mahath, der Sohn Amasais, und Joel, der Sohn Asarjas, aus den Kindern der Kahathiter; aus den Kindern aber Merari: Kis, der Sohn Abdis, und Asarja, der Sohn Jehaleleels; aber aus den Kindern der Gersoniter: Joab, der Sohn Simmas, und Eden, der Sohn Joahs;
Then the Levites arose, Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the descendants of the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah;
13 und aus den Kindern Elizaphan: Simri und Jeiel; und aus den Kindern Assaph: Sacharja und Mathanja;
and of the descendants of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the descendants of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;
14 und aus den Kindern Heman: Jehiel und Simei; und aus den Kindern Jeduthun: Semaja und Usiel.
and of the descendants of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the descendants of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
15 Und sie versammelten ihre Brüder und heiligten sich; und gingen hinein nach dem Gebot des Königs aus dem Wort des HERRN, zu reinigen das Haus des HERRN.
They gathered their brothers, and sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.
16 Die Priester aber gingen hinein inwendig ins Haus des HERRN, zu reinigen; und taten alle Unreinigkeit, die im Tempel des HERRN funden ward, auf den Hof am Hause des HERRN; und die Leviten nahmen sie auf und trugen sie hinaus in den Bach Kidron.
The priests went in to the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the LORD's temple into the court of the house of the LORD. The Levites took it, to carry it out abroad to the Kidron Valley.
17 Sie fingen aber an am ersten Tage des ersten Monden, sich zu heiligen, und am achten Tage des Monden gingen sie in die Halle des HERRN und heiligten das Haus des HERRN acht Tage; und vollendeten es am sechzehnten Tage des ersten Monden.
Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD; and they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days: and on the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.
18 Und sie gingen hinein zum Könige Hiskia und sprachen: Wir haben gereiniget das ganze Haus des HERRN, den Brandopferaltar und all sein Geräte, den Tisch der Schaubrote und all sein Geräte
Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace, and said, "We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and the table of show bread, with all its vessels.
19 und alle Gefäße, die der König Ahas, da er König war, weggeworfen hatte, da er sich versündigte, die haben wir zugerichtet und geheiliget; siehe, sie sind vor dem Altar des HERRN.
Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign threw away when he trespassed, have we prepared and sanctified; and look, they are before the altar of the LORD."
20 Da machte sich der König Hiskia frühe auf und versammelte die Obersten der Stadt und ging hinauf zum Hause des HERRN.
Then Hezekiah the king arose early and gathered the officials of the city and went up to the house of the LORD.
21 Und brachten herzu sieben Farren, sieben Widder, sieben Lämmer und sieben Ziegenböcke zum Sündopfer für das Königreich, für das Heiligtum und für Juda. Und er sprach zu den Priestern, den Kindern Aaron, daß sie opfern sollten auf dem Altar des HERRN.
They brought seven bulls, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD.
22 Da schlachteten sie die Rinder, und die Priester nahmen das Blut und sprengeten es auf den Altar; und schlachteten die Widder und sprengeten das Blut auf den Altar; und schlachteten die Lämmer und sprengeten das Blut auf den Altar
So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: and they killed the rams, and sprinkled the blood on the altar: they killed also the lambs, and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
23 und brachten die Böcke zum Sündopfer vor den König und die Gemeine und legten ihre Hände auf sie.
They brought near the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them:
24 Und die Priester schlachteten sie und entsündigten ihr Blut auf dem Altar, zu versöhnen das ganze Israel. Denn der König hatte befohlen, Brandopfer und Sündopfer zu tun für das ganze Israel.
and the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
25 Und er stellete die Leviten im Hause des HERRN mit Zimbeln, Psaltern und Harfen, wie es David befohlen hatte und Gad, der Schauer des Königs, und der Prophet Nathan; denn es war des HERRN Gebot durch seine Propheten.
He set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was of the LORD by his prophets.
26 Und die Leviten stunden mit den Saitenspielen Davids und die Priester mit den Trommeten.
The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.
27 Und Hiskia hieß sie Brandopfer tun auf dem Altar. Und um die Zeit, da man anfing das Brandopfer, fing auch an der Gesang des HERRN und die Trommeten und auf mancherlei Saitenspiel Davids, des Königs Israels.
Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also, and the trumpets, together with the instruments of David king of Israel.
28 Und die ganze Gemeine betete an; und der Gesang der Sänger und das Trommeten der Trommeter währete alles, bis das Brandopfer ausgerichtet war.
All the assembly worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
29 Da nun das Brandopfer ausgerichtet war, beugte sich der König und alle, die bei ihm vorhanden waren, und beteten an.
When they had made an end of offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.
30 Und der König Hiskia samt den Obersten hieß die Leviten den HERRN loben mit dem Gedicht Davids und Assaphs, des Schauers. Und sie lobten mit Freuden und neigeten sich und beteten an.
Moreover Hezekiah the king and the leaders commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
31 Und Hiskia antwortete und sprach: Nun habt ihr eure Hände gefüllet dem HERRN; tretet hinzu und bringet her die Opfer und Lobopfer zum Hause des HERRN. Und die Gemeine brachte herzu Opfer und Lobopfer und jedermann freiwilliges Herzens Brandopfer.
Then Hezekiah answered, "Now you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD; come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD." The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.
32 Und die Zahl der Brandopfer, so die Gemeine herzubrachte, war siebenzig Rinder, hundert Widder und zweihundert Lämmer, und solches alles zu Brandopfer dem HERRN.
The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
33 Und sie heiligten sechshundert Rinder und dreitausend Schafe.
The consecrated things were six hundred head of cattle and three thousand sheep.
34 Aber der Priester waren zu wenig und konnten nicht allen Brandopfern die Haut abziehen; darum nahmen sie ihre Brüder, die Leviten, bis das Werk ausgerichtet ward, und bis sich die Priester heiligten. Denn die Leviten sind leichter zu heiligen als die Priester.
But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: therefore their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
35 Auch war der Brandopfer viel mit dem Fett der Dankopfer und Trankopfer zu den Brandopfern. Also ward das Amt am Hause des HERRN fertig.
Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.
36 Und Hiskia freuete sich samt allem Volk, daß man mit Gott bereit war worden; denn es geschah eilend.
Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because of that which God had prepared for the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
