Offenbarung 7
1 Und nach diesem sah ich vier Engel stehen an den vier Ecken der Erde und die vier Winde der Erde halten, daß kein Wind wehe über die Erde und über das Meer und über alle Bäume.
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, tightly holding back the four winds of the earth so that no wind should blow on the earth, on the sea, or against any tree.
2 Und ich sah einen anderen Engel aufsteigen von Sonnenaufgang, mit einem Siegel des lebendigen Gottes, der rief mit lauter Stimme den vier Engeln, denen gegeben war zu schädigen die Erde und das Meer
I saw another angel coming up from the east, who had the seal of the living God. He cried out with a loud voice to the four angels who were given permission to harm the earth and the sea:
3 und sprach: schädiget die Erde nicht, noch das Meer, noch die Bäume, bis wir die Knechte unseres Gottes versiegelt haben auf der Stirne.
“Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees until we have put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
4 Und ich hörte die Zahl der Versiegelten, nämlich hundert vier und vierzig Tausend Versiegelte aus allen Stämmen der Söhne Israel:
I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000, who were sealed from every tribe of the people of Israel:
5 aus dem Stamm Juda zwölftausend versiegelt, aus dem Stamm Ruben zwölftausend, aus dem Stamm Gad zwölftausend,
twelve thousand from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand from the tribe of Gad,
6 aus dem Stamm Aser zwölftausend, aus dem Stamm Nephthalim zwölftausend, aus dem Stamm Manasse zwölftausend,
twelve thousand from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand from the tribe of Manasseh,
7 aus dem Stamm Simeon zwölftausend, aus dem Stamm Levi zwölftausend, aus dem Stamm Issachar zwölftausend,
twelve thousand from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand from the tribe of Issachar,
8 aus dem Stamm Zabulon zwölftausend, aus dem Stamm Joseph zwölftausend, aus dem Stamm Benjamin zwölftausend versiegelt.
twelve thousand from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand from the tribe of Joseph, and twelve thousand from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.
9 Nach diesem sah ich: siehe da eine große Menge, die niemand zählen konnte, aus allen Nationen, Stämmen, Völkern und Sprachen, stehend vor dem Throne und vor dem Lamm, angethan mit weißen Gewändern, und Palmen in ihren Händen,
After these things I looked, and there was a huge multitude that no one could count—from every nation, tribe, people, and language—standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands,
10 und sie riefen mit lauter Stimme: Heil unserem Gott, der da sitzt auf dem Throne, und dem Lamm.
and they were calling out with a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
11 Und alle Engel standen rings um den Thron, und die Aeltesten und die vier Tiere, und fielen vor dem Thron auf ihr Angesicht und beteten Gott an
All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne. They worshiped God,
12 und sprachen: Amen, Lob und Preis und Weisheit und Dank und Ehre und Kraft und Stärke unserem Gott in alle Ewigkeit, Amen. (aiōn g165)
saying, “Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen!” (aiōn g165)
13 Und einer von den Aeltesten nahm das Wort und sprach zu mir: diese in den weißen Gewändern, wer sind sie und woher kamen sie?
Then one of the elders asked me, “Who are these, clothed with white robes, and where did they come from?”
14 Und ich sprach zu ihm: mein Herr, du weißt es. Und er sprach zu mir: diese sind es, die da kommen aus der großen Trübsal und die ihre Kleider gewaschen und gebleicht haben im Blute des Lammes;
I said to him, “Sir, you know,” and he said to me, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 darum sind sie vor dem Throne Gottes, und dienen ihm Tag und Nacht in seinem Tempel, und der das sitzt auf dem Thron, wird über ihnen sein Zelt errichten.
For this reason, they are before the throne of God, and they worship him day and night in his temple. The one who is seated on the throne will spread his tent over them.
16 Sie werden nicht mehr hungern noch dürsten, noch wird die Sonne auf sie fallen, noch irgend Hitze,
They will not be hungry again, nor will they be thirsty again. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat.
17 denn das Lamm, das inmitten des Thrones ist, wird sie weiden und sie leiten zu Wasserquellen des Lebens, und Gott wird abwischen alle Thränen von ihren Augen.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
