Offenbarung 2
1 Dem Engel der Gemeinde in Ephesus schreibe: So spricht der, der die sieben Sterne in seiner Rechten hält, der da wandelt mitten unter den sieben goldenen Leuchtern:
“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: 'The words of the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and who walks among the seven golden lampstands,
2 ich kenne deine Werke und deine Mühe und deine Geduld, und daß du Schlechte nicht tragen magst, und hast geprüft die sich selbst Apostel nennen und sind es nicht, und hast sie Lügner gefunden;
“I know what you have done and your hard labor and your patient endurance. I know that you cannot tolerate the evil people. I know that you have tested those who say they are apostles, but are not, and that you have found them to be false.
3 und hast Geduld und hast getragen um meines Namens willen, und bist nicht müde geworden.
I know you have patient endurance, and you have suffered much because of my name, and that you have not grown weary.
4 Aber ich habe wider dich, daß du deine erste Liebe verlassen hast.
But I have against you the fact that you have left behind your first love.
5 So denke daran, von wo du gefallen bist, thue Buße und thue die ersten Werke; wo nicht, so komme ich zu dir und stoße deinen Leuchter von seiner Stelle, wenn du nicht Buße thust.
Remember therefore from where you have fallen. Repent and do the things you did at first. Unless you repent, I will come to you and I will remove your lampstand from its place.
6 Doch das hast du, daß du die Werke der Nikolaiten hassest, die auch ich hasse.
But you have this: You hate what the Nicolaitans have done, which I also hate.
7 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt: dem Sieger will ich geben zu essen vom Baum des Lebens, der da ist im Paradiese Gottes.
Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”'”
8 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Smyrna schreibe: So spricht der Erste und Letzte, der da tot war und ist lebendig geworden.
“To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: 'The words of the one who is the first and the last, the one who was dead and who became alive again:
9 Ich kenne deine Bedrängnis und Armut - doch du bist reich - und die Lästerung derer, die sich Juden heißen, und sind es doch nicht, sondern eine Synagoge des Satans. Fürchte nichts, was dir von Leiden bevorsteht.
“I know your sufferings and your poverty, but you are rich. I know the slander of those who say they are Jews, but they are not. They are a synagogue of Satan.
10 Siehe der Teufel wird etliche von euch ins Gefängnis bringen, damit ihr geprüft werdet, und ihr werdet bedrängt sein zehn Tage lang. Sei getreu bis zum Tod, so will ich dir den Kranz des Lebens geben.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Look! The devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you will be tested, and you will suffer for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
11 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt: der Sieger soll nicht geschädigt werden vom zweiten Tod.
Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.”'”
12 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Pergamon schreibe:
“To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: 'The words of the one who has the sword with two sharp edges:
13 So spricht, der das scharfe zweischneidige Schwert hat: Ich weiß wo du wohnst: wo der Thron des Satans ist; und du hältst an meinem Namen, und hast meinen Glauben nicht verleugnet in den Tagen Antipas meines treuen Zeugen, der bei euch getötet ward, da wo der Satan wohnt.
“I know where you live, there where Satan's throne is. Yet you hold on tightly to my name. I know that you did not deny your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, there where Satan lives.
14 Aber ich habe etliches wider dich, daß du Leute dort hast die zu der Lehre Balaams halten, der den Balak lehrte, Aergernis zu geben vor den Söhnen Israel, Götzenopfer zu essen und Unzucht zu treiben.
But I have a few things against you: You have there some who hold tightly to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and be sexually immoral.
15 So hast auch du solche, die zu der Lehre der Nikolaiten in gleicher Weise halten.
In the same way, you even have some who hold tightly to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16 So thue Buße; wo nicht, so komme ich bald zu dir und streite mit ihnen mit dem Schwerte meines Mundes.
Repent, therefore! If you do not, I will quickly come to you, and I will wage war against them with the sword in my mouth.
17 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt: dem Sieger will ich geben vom verborgenen Manna, und will ihm einen weißen Stein geben und darauf einen neuen Namen geschrieben, den niemand kennt, außer der Empfänger.
Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give a white stone with a new name written on the stone, a name which no one knows but the one who receives it.”'”
18 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Thyatira schreibe: So spricht der Sohn Gottes, der Augen hat wie eine Feuerflamme, und dessen Füße gleich Erz sind;
“To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: 'These are the words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire and feet like polished bronze:
19 ich kenne deine Werke und deine Liebe, Glauben, Hilfreichung, und Geduld, und wie deine letzten Werke mehr sind als die ersten.
“I know what you have done: your love and faith and service and your patient endurance. I know that what you have done recently is more than you did at first.
20 Aber ich habe wider dich, daß du das Weib Jezabel gewähren lässest, die sich eine Prophetin nennt, und lehrt und verführt meine Knechte Unzucht zu treiben und Götzenopfer zu essen.
But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
21 Und ich habe ihr Zeit gegeben zur Buße, und sie will nicht Buße thun von ihrer Unzucht.
I gave her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her immorality.
22 Siehe ich werfe sie aufs Krankenbett, und die mit ihr Ehebruch treiben in große Bedrängnis, wenn sie nicht Buße thun von ihren Werken;
Look! I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great suffering, unless they repent of her deeds.
23 und ihre Kinder werde ich dahin sterben lassen. Und alle Gemeinden sollen erkennen, daß ich es bin, der Nieren und Herzen erforscht; und ich werde euch geben, einem jeden nach seinen Werken.
I will strike her children dead, and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches thoughts and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
24 Euch aber sage ich, den übrigen in Thyatira, die diese Lehre nicht haben, als die da nicht erkannt haben die Tiefen des Satans (wie sie sagen): ich lege keine weitere Last auf euch.
But to the rest of you in Thyatira, to everyone who does not hold this teaching, and does not know what some call the deep things of Satan—to you I say, 'I do not put any other burden on you.'
25 Nur haltet fest, was ihr habt, bis ich komme.
In any case, you must hold on tightly until I come.
26 Und wer da siegt und an meinen Werken hält bis zum Ende, dem will ich Macht geben über die Heiden,
The one who conquers and who does what I have done until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
27 und er wird sie weiden mit eisernem Stabe, wie man Töpfergeschirr zusammenschlägt,
'He will rule them with an iron rod, like clay jars he will break them into pieces.'
28 wie auch ich es empfangen habe von meinem Vater, und ich will ihm den Morgenstern geben.
Just as I have received from my Father, I will also give him the morning star.
29 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt.
Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”'”
