1 Wallfahrtslieder. Von David. Siehe, wie schön und wie lieblich ist's, wenn Brüder beisammen wohnen!

A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 Wie das köstliche Öl auf dem Haupte, das herabfließt auf den Bart, den Bart Aarons, der auf seiner Kleider Saum herabfließt,

[It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garment;

3 wie der Tau des Hermon, der auf die Berge Zions herabfließt. Denn dahin hat Jahwe den Segen entboten, Leben bis in Ewigkeit.

As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for ever.
