Lukas 6
1 Es geschah aber am zweitersten Sabbat, daß er durch die Kornfelder zog, und seine Jünger rauften die Aehren aus und aßen sie, indem sie sie mit den Händen ausdrückten.
And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he was going through grain-fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of grain, and ate them, rubbing them with their hands.
2 Etliche von den Pharisäern aber sagten: warum thut ihr, was man am Sabbat nicht thun darf?
And some of the Pharisees said, Why are ye doing that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath?
3 Und Jesus antwortete ihnen: habt ihr auch davon nicht gelesen, was David that, als ihn und seine Genossen hungerte?
And Jesus answering them, said, Have ye not even read what David did, when he was himself hungry, and they who were with him?
4 Wie er in das Haus Gottes gieng und nahm die Schaubrote, und aß und gab seinen Genossen, die doch niemand essen darf, außer allein die Priester?
how he went into the house of God, and took and ate the show-bread, and gave it also to those who were with him, which it is not lawful for any to eat but the priests alone?
5 Und er sagte zu ihnen: der Sohn des Menschen ist Herr über den Sabbat.
And he said to them, The Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.
6 Es geschah aber an einem anderen Sabbat, daß er in die Synagoge trat und lehrte. Und es war daselbst ein Mensch, dessen rechte Hand war geschwunden.
And it came to pass on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue, and taught; and there was a man there whose right hand was withered.
7 Die Schriftgelehrten und die Pharisäer aber lauerten auf ihn, ob er am Sabbat heile, um eine Klage gegen ihn zu gewinnen.
And the scribes and the Pharisees were watching whether he would heal on the sabbath, that they might find an accusation against him.
8 Er aber wußte um ihre Gedanken; er sagte aber zu dem Mann mit der geschwundenen Hand: auf, trete vor; und er erhob sich und stand.
But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man having the withered hand, Rise, and stand up in the midst. And he arose, and stood up.
9 Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: ich frage euch, ob es erlaubt ist, am Sabbat Gutes zu thun oder Böses zu thun? ein Leben zu retten, oder zu verderben?
And Jesus said to them, I ask you whether it is lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do evil; to save life, or to kill?
10 Und nachdem er sie alle rings herum angesehen, sagte er zu ihm: strecke deine Hand aus. Er aber that es, und seine Hand ward hergestellt.
And looking round on them all, he said to him, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so; and his hand was restored.
11 Sie aber wurden ganz unsinnig und beredeten untereinander, was sie Jesus anthun möchten.
But they were filled with madness, and conferred with one another as to what they should do to Jesus.
12 Es geschah aber in diesen Tagen, daß er hinausgieng zum Gebirg zu beten, und er brachte die Nacht zu im Gebet zu Gott;
And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into the mountain to pray; and he continued all night in prayer to God.
13 und als es Tag wurde, rief er seine Jünger herbei, und wählte zwölf von ihnen aus, die er auch Apostel nannte:
And when it was day, he called to him his disciples; and he chose from them twelve, whom he also named apostles;
14 Simon, dem er auch den Namen Petrus gab, und Andreas, seinen Bruder, und Jakobus, und Johannes, und Philippus, und Bartholomäus,
Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip and Bartholomew,
15 und Matthäus, und Thomas, und Jakobus den Sohn des Alphäus, und Simon mit dem Namen der Eiferer,
and Matthew and Thomas, and James the Son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the zealot,
16 und Judas den Sohn des Jakobus, und Judas Iskarioth, der zum Verräter geworden ist.
and Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
17 Und nachdem er mit ihnen heruntergestiegen, stellte er sich auf ein ebenes Feld mit einer großen Menge von seinen Jüngern, nebst einer großen Versammlung des Volkes von ganz Judäa und Jerusalem und der Küste von Tyrus und Sidon, die gekommen waren ihn zu hören und sich von ihren Krankheiten heilen zu lassen
And he came down with them, and stood on a level place with a great multitude of his disciples, and a great crowd of the people from all Judaea and Jerusalem and the sea-coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases.
18 (auch die von unreinen Geistern Belästigten wurden geheilt;
And they that were harassed with unclean spirits were cured.
19 und alle Welt suchte ihn anzurühren, weil eine Kraft von ihm ausgieng und alle heilte).
And the whole multitude sought to touch him, because power went out of him and healed all.
20 Und er hob seine Augen auf über seine Jünger und sprach: Selig ihr Arme, denn euer ist das Reich Gottes.
And raising his eyes toward his disciples, he said, Blessed are ye poor; for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Selig die ihr jetzt hungert, den ihr werdet gesättigt werden. Selig, die ihr jetzt weinet, denn ihr werdet lachen.
Blessed are ye that hunger now; for ye will be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now; for ye will laugh.
22 Selig seid ihr, wenn euch die Leute hassen, und wenn sie euch ausschließen und beschimpfen, und euren Namen ausstoßen als einen bösen wegen des Sohnes des Menschen.
Blessed are ye when men hate you, and when they exclude you, and revile and cast out your name as evil, on account of the Son of man.
23 Freuet euch an diesem Tag und jubelt, denn siehe euer Lohn ist groß im Himmel; denn ebenso haben ihre Väter den Propheten gethan.
Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy; for lo! your reward is great in heaven; for thus their fathers did to the prophets.
24 Dagegen wehe euch Reichen, denn ihr habt euren Trost dahin.
But woe to you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
25 Wehe euch, die ihr jetzt voll seid, denn ihr werdet hungern. Wehe, die ihr jetzt lachet, den ihr werdet trauern und weinen.
Woe to you that are full now! for ye will hunger. Woe to you that laugh now! for ye will mourn and weep.
26 Wehe, wenn alle Welt euch schön thut, denn ebenso haben ihre Väter den Lügenpropheten gethan.
Woe, when all men speak well of you! for so did their fathers of the false prophets.
27 Aber euch, die ihr zuhört, sage ich: liebet eure Feinde, thut wohl denen, die euch hassen;
But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies; do good to those who hate you;
28 segnet, die euch fluchen, betet für die, welche euch beschimpfen.
bless those who curse you; pray for those who are spiteful to you.
29 Dem der dich auf die Wange schlägt, biete auch die andere, und dem, der deinen Mantel nimmt, weigere auch den Rock nicht.
To him that smiteth thee on one cheek, offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak, forbid not to take thy coat also.
30 Jedem, der dich bittet, gib, und von dem, der dir das Deinige nimmt, fordere es nicht zurück.
Give to every one that asketh of thee; and from him that taketh away thy goods, demand them not again.
31 Und wie ihr wollt, daß euch die Leute thun, desgleichen thut ihr ihnen.
And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also in like manner to them.
32 Und wenn ihr liebet, die euch lieben, was ist's mit eurer Güte? lieben doch auch die Sünder diejenigen, welche sie lieben.
And if ye love those who love you, what thanks do ye deserve? for sinners also love those who love them.
33 Und wenn ihr gutes thut denen, die euch Gutes thun, ebenso thun doch die Sünder das Gleiche.
For if ye do good to those who do good to you, what thanks do ye deserve? even sinners do the same.
34 Und wenn ihr denen leiht, von welchen ihr es zu bekommen hofft, ebenso leihen doch auch die Sünder den Sündern, um die gleiche Summe wieder zu bekommen.
And if ye lend to those from whom ye expect to receive, what thanks do ye deserve? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much in return.
35 Vielmehr, liebet eure Feinde und thut Gutes, und leihet, wo ihr keine Hoffnung habet zurückzubekommen. So wird euer Lohn groß sein, und ihr werdet Söhne des Höchsten sein, denn auch er ist milde gegen die Undankbaren und Bösen.
But love your enemies, and do good and lend, despairing of no one; and your reward will be great, and ye will be sons of the Most High; for he is kind to the unthankful and wicked.
36 Werdet barmherzig, wie euer Vater barmherzig ist.
Be merciful, as your Father is merciful.
37 Und richtet nicht, so werdet ihr nimmermehr gerichtet werden; und verurteilt nicht, so werdet ihr nimmermehr verurteilt werden. Sprechet los, so werdet ihr losgesprochen werden.
And judge not, and ye will not be judged; and condemn not, and ye will not be condemned; forgive, and ye will be forgiven;
38 Gebet, so wird euch gegeben werden. Ein gutes, gestopftes, gerütteltes überfließendes Maß wird man euch in den Schoß geben; denn mit welchem Maß ihr messet, wird euch wieder gemessen werden.
give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will men give into your bosom; for with what measure ye mete, it will be measured to you in return.
39 Er sagte ihnen aber auch ein Gleichnis: kann denn ein Blinder einen Blinden führen? werden nicht beide in eine Grube fallen?
And he spoke also a parable to them: Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a ditch?
40 Es ist der Jünger nicht über dem Meister; jeder wird geschult sein wie sein Meister.
A disciple is not above his teacher; but every one when fully instructed will be as his teacher.
41 Was siehst du aber den Splitter im Auge deines Bruders, den Balken aber im eigenen Auge bemerkst du nicht?
And why dost thou look at the mote in thy brother's eye, and not perceive the beam that is in thine own eye?
42 Wie kannst du deinem Bruder sagen: Bruder, laß mich den Splitter in deinem Auge herausnehmen, während du selbst den Balken in deinem Auge nicht siehst? Heuchler, nimm zuerst den Balken aus deinem Auge, und dann magst du sehen den Splitter im Auge deines Bruders herauszunehmen.
How canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me take out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself perceivest not the beam in thine own eye? Hypocrite! first cast the beam out of thine own eye, and then thou wilt see clearly to take out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.
43 Denn es gibt keinen guten Baum, der faule Frucht bringt, und wiederum keinen faulen Baum, der gute Frucht bringt.
For there is no good tree that beareth bad fruit; and again, there is no bad tree that beareth good fruit.
44 Jeder Baum wird an seiner Frucht erkannt; denn man sammelt nicht Feigen von Diesteln, noch bricht man aus einem Dornbusch eine Traube.
For every tree is known by its own fruit; for from thorns men do not gather figs, nor from a bramble-bush do they gather grapes.
45 Der gute Mensch bringt aus dem guten Schatze des Herzens das Gute hervor, und der böse bringt aus dem bösen das Böse hervor. Denn wessen das Herz voll ist, geht der Mund über.
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil; for out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaketh.
46 Was nennt ihr mich aber: Herr, Herr! und thut nicht was ich sage?
But why call ye me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Jeder, der zu mir kommt und meine Worte hört und darnach thut - ich will euch zeigen, wem er gleicht.
Every one that cometh to me and heareth my sayings and doeth them, I will show you whom he is like.
48 Er gleicht einem Menschen, der ein Haus baut, der da ausgraben und vertiefen ließ und ein Fundament auf den Felsen legte. Als dann das Hochwasser kam, stieß der Strom auf dieses Haus, und vermochte es nicht zu erschüttern wegen seines guten Baues.
He is like a man building a house, who dug deep, and laid its foundation on a rock; and when a flood arose, the stream dashed against that house, and could not shake it; because it was well built.
49 Wer aber hört und nicht thut, der gleicht einem Menschen, welcher ein Haus auf das Land baute ohne Fundament; wie der Strom darauf stieß, da brach es sofort zusammen, und sein Sturz war groß.
But he that heareth and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream dashed, and it fell at once, and the ruin of that house was great.
