Josua 15
1 Die einzelnen Geschlechter des Stammes der Judäer aber erhielten ihren Anteil nach der Grenze Edoms hin, südwärts nach der Steppe Zin hin, im äußersten Süden.
And it was the lot of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to clans their to [the] border of Edom [the] wilderness of Zin [the] south towards from [the] end of [the] south.
2 Und zwar läuft ihre Südgrenze vom Ende des Salzmeers - von der nach Süden gewendeten Spitze - aus
And it was to them border of [the] south from [the] end of [the] Sea of Salt from the bay which faces [the] south towards.
3 und setzt sich fort bis südlich von der Skorpionenstiege hinüber nach Zin und zieht sich südlich von Kades Barnea aufwärts hinüber nach Hezron; sodann zieht sie sich aufwärts nach Adar und wendet sich herum nach Karka.
And it goes out to from [the] south of [the] ascent of scorpions and it passes on Zin towards and it goes up from [the] south of Kadesh Barnea and it passes on Hezron and it goes up Addar towards and it turns Karka towards.
4 Sodann zieht sie sich hinüber nach Azmon und setzt sich fort bis zum Bach Ägyptens, bis die grenze am Meere endigt; das soll eure Südgrenze sein.
And it passes on Azmon towards and it goes out [the] wadi of Egypt (and they are *QK) [the] extremities of the territory west-ward this it will be of you border of [the] south.
5 Die Ostgrenze aber bildet das Salzmeer bis zur Mündung des Jordan. Und die Grenze nach Norden zu läuft aus von der Spitze des Meers, von der Mündung des Jordan.
And [the] border east-ward [is] [the] Sea of Salt to [the] end of the Jordan and [the] border of [the] side of north-ward [is] from [the] bay of the sea from [the] end of the Jordan.
6 Sodann zieht sich die Grenze aufwärts nach Beth Hogla und hinüber bis nördlich von Beth Araba. Weiter zieht sich die Grenze aufwärts zum Steine Bohans, des Sohnes Rubens.
And it goes up the border Beth Hoglah and it passes on from [the] north of Beth Arabah and it goes up the border [the] stone of Bohan [the] son of Reuben.
7 Sodann zieht sich die Grenze aufwärts nach Debir vom Thak Achor her und wendet sich nordwärts nach dem Gilgal, welches der Stiege von Adummim gegenüberliegt, die sich südwärts vom Bache befindet. Sodann zieht sich die Grenze hinüber nach dem Wasser von En Semes und läuft weiter bis zur Quelle Rogel.
And it goes up the border - Debir towards from [the] valley of Achor and north-ward [it is] turning to Gilgal which [is] opposite to [the] ascent of Adummim which [is] from [the] south of the wadi and it passes on the border to [the] waters of En Shemesh and they are extremities its to En Rogel.
8 Sodann zieht sich die Grenze aufwärts ins Thal Ben Hinnom südlich vom Bergrücken der Jebusiter, das ist Jerusalem. Sodann zieht sich die Grenze aufwärts auf den Gipfel des Bergs, der westlich vor dem Thale hinnom und am nördlichen Ende der Ebene Rephaim liegt.
And it goes up the border [the] valley of Ben Hinnom to [the] slope of the Jebusite[s] from [the] south that [is] Jerusalem and it goes up the border to [the] top of the mountain which [is] on [the] face of [the] valley of [Ben] Hinnom west-ward which [is] at [the] end of [the] valley of [the] Rephaites north-ward.
9 Vom Gipfel des Bergs aber biegt die Grenze um zur Quelle des Wassers von Nephtoah und läuft weiter zu den Städten des Bergs Ephron; sodann biegt die Grenz um nach Baala, das ist Kirjath Jearim.
And it turns the border from [the] top of the mountain to [the] spring of [the] waters of Nephtoah and it goes out to [the] cities of [the] mountain of Ephron and it turns the border Baalah that [is] Kiriath Jearim.
10 Von Baala aber wendet sich die Grenze westwärts zum Berge Seir, zieht sich hinüber bis nördlich vom Bergrücken von Har Jearim, das ist Kesalon, zieht sich hinab nach Beth Semes und hinüber nach Thimna.
And it turns the border from Baalah west-ward to [the] mountain of Seir and it passes on to [the] slope of [the] mountain of Jearim from north-ward that [is] Kesalon and it goes down Beth Shemesh and it passes on Timnah.
11 Sodann läuft die Grenze nordwärts weiter bis zum Bergrücken von Ekron und die grenze biegt um nach Sichron, zieht sich hinüber nach dem Berge Baala, läuft weiter bis Jabneel, und so endet die Grenze am Meere.
And it goes out the border to [the] slope of Ekron north-ward and it turns the border Shikkeron towards and it passes on [the] mountain of Baalah and it goes out Jabneel and they are [the] extremities of the territory west-ward.
12 Die westgrenze aber bildet durchweg das große Meer. Das ist die Grenze der verschiedenen Geschlechter der Judäer ringsum.
And [the] border of [the] west [is] the sea towards great and territory this [is] [the] border of [the] descendants of Judah around to clans their.
13 Kaleb aber, dem Sohne Jephunnes, gab er Anteil unter den Judäern gemäß dem Befehle Jahwes an Josua, nämlich die Stadt Arbas, des Vaters Enaks, das ist Hebron.
And to Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh someone gave a portion in among [the] descendants of Judah to [the] mouth of Yahweh to Joshua Kiriath Arba [the] father of Anak that [is] Hebron.
14 Und Kaleb vertrieb von dort die drei Söhne Enaks, Sesai, Ahiman und Thalmai, die Sprößlinge Enaks.
And he dispossessed from there Caleb three [the] sons of Anak Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai those born of Anak.
15 Von da zog er gegen die Bewohner von Debir; Debir aber hieß früher Kirjath Sepher.
And he went up from there against [the] inhabitants of Debir and [the] name of Debir before [was] Kiriath Sepher.
16 Und Kaleb verhieß: Wer Kirjath Sepher bezwingt und es einnimmt, dem will ich meine Tochter Achsa zum Weibe geben!
And he said Caleb [the one] who he will strike Kiriath Sepher and he will capture it and I will give to him Achsah daughter my to a wife.
17 Da nahm es Othniel, der Sohn des Kenas, der Bruder Kalebs, ein, und er gab ihm seine Tochter Achsa zum Weibe.
And he captured it Othniel [the] son of Kenaz [the] brother of Caleb and he gave to him Achsah daughter his to a wife.
18 Als sie ihm nun zugeführt wurde, reizte sie ihn an, er möge von ihrem Vater ein Feld verlangen. Sie glitt vom Esel herab, so daß Kaleb sie fragte: Was ist dir?
And it was when came she and she incited him to ask from with father her a field and she went down from on the donkey and he said to her Caleb what? [is] to you.
19 Sie erwiderte: Gieb mir doch ein Abschiedsgeschenk! Denn du hast mich nach dem Südlande vergeben; so gieb mir den Wasserbrunnen! Da gab ihr Kaleb Brunnen in der Höhe und Brunnen in der Niederung.
And she said give! to me a blessing for [the] land of the Negev you have given to me and you will give to me springs of water and he gave to her springs upper and springs lower.
20 Das ist der Erbbesitz der verschiedenen Geschlechter des Stammes der Judäer.
This [was] [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to clans their.
21 Es waren aber die Städte am Rande des Stammes der Judäer gegen die Grenze Edoms hin im Südlande: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
And they were the cities from [the] end of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to [the] border of Edom in the south Kabzeel and Eder and Jagur.
22 Kina, Dimona, Adada,
And Kinah and Dimonah and Adadah.
23 Kedes, Hazor und Ithnam;
And Kedesh and Hazor and Ithnan.
24 Siph, Telem, Bealoth,
Ziph and Telem and Bealoth.
25 Hazor, Hadatta und Kerijoth Hezron, das ist Hazor;
And Hazor - Hadattah and Kerioth Hezron that [is] Hazor.
26 Amam, Sema, Molada,
Amam and Shema and Moladah.
27 Hazar, Gadda, Hesmon, Beth Peleth,
And Hazar Gaddah and Heshmon and Beth Pelet.
28 Hazar Sual, Beerseba und die zugehörigen Ortschaften;
And Hazar Shual and Beer Sheba and Biziothiah.
29 Baala, Ijim, Ezem,
Baalah and Iim and Ezem.
30 Eltholad, Kesil, Horma,
And Eltolad and Kesil and Hormah.
31 Ziklag, Madmanna, Sansanna,

32 Lebaoth, Silhim und En Rimmon, ingesamt neunundzwanzig Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
And Lebaoth and Shilhim and Ain and Rimmon all [the] cities [were] twenty and nine and villages their.
33 In der Niederung: Esthaol, Zorea, Asna,
In the Shephelah Eshtaol and Zorah and Ashnah.
34 Sanoah und En Gannim, Thappuah und Enam,
And Zanoah and En Gannim Tappuah and Enam.
35 Jarmuth und Adullam, Socho, Aseka,
Jarmuth and Adullam Socoh and Azekah.
36 Saaraim, Adithaim, Gedera und Gederothaim - vierzehn Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
And Shaaraim and Adithaim and Gederah and Gederothaim cities four-teen and villages their.
37 Ferner Zenan, Hadasa, Migdal Gad,
Zenan and Hadashah and Migdal Gad.
38 Dilean, Mizpe und Joktheel;
And Dilean and Mizpah and Joktheel.
39 Lachis, Bozkat, Eglon,
Lachish and Bozkath and Eglon.
40 Kabbon, Lahmas, Kithlis
And Cabbon and Lahmas and Kitlish.
41 und Gederoth; Beth Dagon, Naama und Makeda - sechszehn Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.

42 Ferner Libna, Ether, Asan,

43 Jiphta, Asna, Nezib
And Iphtah and Ashnah and Nezib.
44 Kegila, Achsib und Maresa - neun Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
And Keilah and Aczib and Mareshah cities nine and villages their.
45 Ekron mit den zugehörigen Ortschaften und Dörfern.
Ekron and daughters its and villages its.
46 Von Ekron bis zum Meere alles, was zur Seite von Asdod liegt mit den zugehörigen Dörfern,
From Ekron and west-ward all that [is] on [the] hand of Ashdod and villages their.
47 Asdod mit den zugehörigen Ortschaften und Dörfern, Gaza mit den zugehörigen Ortschaften und Dörfern bis zum Bach Ägyptens; die Grenze aber bildet durchweg das große Meer.
Ashdod daughters its and villages its Gaza daughters its and villages its to [the] wadi of Egypt and the sea (great *QK) and territory.
48 Auf dem Gebirge aber: Samir, Jattir, Socho,
And in the hill country Shamir and Jattir and Socoh.
49 Danna, Kirjath Sanna, das ist Debir,
And Dannah and Kiriath Sannah that [is] Debir.
50 Anab, Esthemo, Anim,
And Anab and Eshtemoh and Anim.
51 Gosen, Holon und Gilo - elf Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
And Goshen and Holon and Giloh cities one plus ten and villages their.
52 Ferner Arab, Duma, Esean,
Arab and Rumah and Eshan.
53 Janum, Beth Thappuah, Apheka,
(And Janum *QK) and Beth Tappuah and Aphekah.
54 Humta, Kirjath Arba, das ist Hebron und Zior - neun Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
And Humtah and Kiriath Arba that [is] Hebron and Zior cities nine and villages their.
55 Ferner Maon, Karmel, Siph, Juta,
Maon - Carmel and Ziph and Juttah.
56 Jesreel, Jokdeam, Sanoah,
And Jezreel and Jokdeam and Zanoah.
57 Kain, Gibea und Thimna - zehn Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.

58 Ferner Halhul, Bethzur, Gedor,
Halhul Beth Zur and Gedor.
59 Maarath, Beth Anoth und Elthekon - sechs Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
And Maarath and Beth Anoth and Eltekon cities six and villages their.
60 Ferner Kirjath Baal, das ist Kirjath Jearim, und Rabba - zwei Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.

61 In der Steppe: Beth Araba, Middin, Sechara,
In the wilderness Beth Arabah Middin and Secacah.
62 Nibsan und die Salzstadt und Engedi - sechs Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
And Nibshan and [the] city of Salt and En Gedi cities six and villages their.
63 Was aber die Jebusiter, die Bewohner Jerusalems, anlangt, so vermochten die Judäer diese nicht zu vertreiben, und so blieben die Jebusiter mit den Judäern in Jerusalem wohnen bis auf den heutigen Tag.
And the Jebusite[s] [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem not (they were able *QK) [the] descendants of Judah to dispossess them and he has dwelt the Jebusite[s] with [the] descendants of Judah in Jerusalem until the day this.
