Jeremia 49
1 Über die Ammoniter: So spricht Jahwe: Hat denn Israel keine Söhne oder hat es keinen Erben? Weshalb hat den Milkom den Gad beerbt, und hat sich sein Volk in dessen Städten niedergelassen?
Of [the] people of Ammon thus he says Yahweh ¿ [do] children not [belong] to Israel or? [does] an heir not [belongs] to it why? has he dispossessed Milcom Gad and people his in cities its has it dwelt?
2 Darum, fürwahr, es kommt die Zeit, ist der Spruch Jahwes, da lasse ich Rabba, die Stadt der Ammoniter, Kriegsgeschrei vernehemn, und sie soll zu einem Schutthügel und ihre Tochterstädte in Brand gesteckt werden: da soll dann Israel seine erben wieder beerben! spricht Jahwe.
Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will sound aloud against Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon a shout of battle and it will become a mound of desolation and daughters its with fire they will be kindled and it will dispossess Israel [those who] dispossessed it he says Yahweh.
3 Heule, Hesbon, daß die Stadt überwältigt ist! Erhebt Jammergeschrei, ihr Tochterstädte Rabbas! Umgürtet euch mit Trauergewändern, stimmt Klage an und irrt umher in den Hürden; denn Milkom muß in Gefangenschaft wandern, seine Priester und Oberen miteinander!
Wail O Heshbon for it has been devastated Ai cry out O daughters of Rabbah gird yourselves sackcloth mourn and run to and fro among the walls for Milcom in exile he will go priests his and officials his together.
4 Was prahlst du mit den Thälern, dem Überflusse deines Thalgrunds, abtrünnige Tochter, die im Vertrauen auf ihre Schätze sich vermißt: Wer sollte an mich herankommen?
Why? do you boast in the valleys [is] flowing valley your O daughter apostate who trusts in treasures her who? will he come against me.
5 Fürwahr, ichlasse grauen über dich kommen, ist der Spruch des Herrn, Jahwes der Heerscharen, von allen Seiten rings um dich her; und ihr sollt auseinandergesprengt werden ein jeder stracks vor sich hin, und niemand wird die Flüchtigen wieder sammeln!
Here I [am] about to bring on you terror [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts from all around you and you will be driven away everyone before it and not [one who] gathers together [belongs] to the fugitive.
6 Hernachmals aber werde ich die Gefangenen der Ammoniter wieder heimbringen, ist der Spruch Jahwes.
And after thus I will turn back [the] captivity of [the] people of Ammon [the] utterance of Yahweh.
7 Über Edom: So spricht Jahwe der Heerscharen: Ist denn keine Weisheit mehr in Theman? Ist denn der Rat der Klugen abhanden gekommen, ihre Weisheit verschüttet?
Of Edom thus he says Yahweh of hosts ¿ [is] there not still wisdom in Teman has it been lost? counsel from understanding [people] has it been corrupted? wisdom their.
8 Flieht! Macht euch davon! Versteckt euch tief drunten, ihr bewohner von Dedan! Denn Esaus Verderben lasse ich über ihn hereinbrechen zu der zeit, da ich ihn heimsuche.
Flee be turned back make deep to dwell O inhabitants of Dedan for [the] disaster of Esau I will bring on it a time [when] I will visit it.
9 Wenn Winzer über dich kommen, lassen sie nicht eine Nachlese übrig? wenn Diebe in der Nacht -, so schädigen sie, bis sie befriedigt sind!
If grape gatherers they came to you not will they leave? gleanings if thieves in the night they destroyed sufficiency their.
10 Weil aber ich selbst Esau aufdecke, seine verstecke bloßlege, daß er sich nicht zu verbergen vermag, so wird seine Nachkommenschaft überwältigt samt seinen Brudervölkern und Nachbarstämmen, und es ist aus mit ihm!
For I I will strip bare Esau I will uncover hiding places its and it will hide itself not it will be able it will be devastated offspring its and relatives its and neighbors its and there not [will be] it.
11 Laß nur deine Waisen, - ich will sie am Leben erhalten, und deine Witwen mögen auf mich vertrauen!
Leave! fatherless your I I will preserve [them] alive and widows your on me let them rely.
12 Ja, so spricht Jahwe: Fürwahr, denen es nicht gebührte, den Kelch zu trinken, die müssen ihn trinken - und du gerade solltest leer ausgehen? Du wirst nicht leer ausgehen, sondern trinken mußt du!
For thus - he says Yahweh there! [those] who not sentence their [was] to drink the cup completely they will drink [it] and you he completely will you be exempt from punishment? not you will be exempt from punishment for certainly you will drink [it].
13 Denn ich schwöre bei mir, ist der Spruch Jahwes: Ein Gegenstand des Entsetzens, der Beschimpfung, des Starrens und des Fluchs soll Bozra werden, und alle ihre Tochterstädte sollen zu immerwährenden Wüsteneien werden!
For by myself I swear [the] utterance of Yahweh that a waste a reproach a desolation and a curse it will become Bozrah and all cities its they will become ruins of perpetuity.
14 Eine Kunde habe ich vernommen von Jahwe her und eine Botschaft, die unter die Völker gesandt ward: Sammelt euch und rückt wider es heran und macht euch auf zum Kampfe!
A report I have heard from with Yahweh and an envoy among the nations [has been] sent gather together and come on it and rise up for battle.
15 Denn fürwahr, ich will dich klein machen unter den Völkern, verachtet unter den Menschen!
For here! small I will make you among the nations despised among humankind.
16 Schauder über dich! Dich hat bethört dein vermessener Sinn, der du in Felsenhängen wohnst, den Gipfel des Hügels umklammerst: bautest du auch so hoch wie ein Adler dein Nest, ich stürze dich von dort hinab! - ist der Spruch Jahwes.
Horror your it has deceived you [the] arrogance of heart your O dweller in [the] clefts of the rock O occupant of [the] height[s] of a hill for you will make high like eagle nest your from there I will bring down you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
17 Und Edom soll ein Gegenstand des Entsetzens werden: jeder, der daran vorüberzieht, wird entsetzt sein und zischen ob all seiner Wunden.
And it will become Edom a horror every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.
18 Wie Sodom und Gomorrha und ihre Nachbarstädte von Grund aus zerstört wurden, spricht Jahwe, wird auch dort niemand mehr wohnen, noch ein Mensch darin weilen.
Like [the] overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and neighbors its he says Yahweh not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
19 Fürwahr, einem Löwen gleich, der aus dem Dickicht des Jordan zur immerprangenden Aue hinaufsteigt: so jage ich es im Nu von dannen und wer erwählt ist, den setze ich über sie. Denn wer ist mir gleich? und wer will mich zur Rechenschaft ziehen? und wo wäre der Hirte, der vor mir standhalten könnte?
There! like a lion [which] it goes up from [the] thicket[s] of the Jordan to pastureland of an ever-flowing [stream] for I will act in a moment I will cause to run it from on it and whoever [is] chosen to it I will appoint for who? [is] like me and who? will he summon me and who? this [is] a shepherd who he will stand before me.
20 Darum hört den Ratschluß Jahwes, den er in betreff Edoms gefaßt hat, und seine gedanken, die er hegt in betreff der Bewohner von Theman: Wahrlich, man soll sie fortschleppen - die geringsten der Schafe! Wahrlich, entsetzen soll sich über sie ihre Aue!
Therefore hear [the] plan of Yahweh which he has planned against Edom and purposes his which he has purposed against [the] inhabitants of Teman if not people will drag away them [the] young [ones] of the flock if not he will devastate on them pastureland their.
21 Vom Gedröhn ihres Falls erzittert die Erde; das Wehgeschrei - am Schilfmeer hört man seinen Widerhall!
From [the] sound of falling they it will shake the earth of [the] calling out at [the] sea of reed[s] it will be heard sound its.
22 Fürwahr, einem Adler gleich steigt er auf und fliegt er heran und breitet seine Flügel über Bozra, und das Herz der Helden Edoms wird jenes Tags dem herzen eines Weibes in Kindesnöten gleichen.
There! like eagle someone will ascend and he may swoop down so he may spread out wings his over Bozrah and it will be [the] heart of [the] warriors of Edom on the day that like [the] heart of a woman in labor.
23 Über Damaskus: Bestürzt sind Hamath und Arpat, denn eine unheilvolle Kunde vernahmen sie; sie sind fassungslos, voller Unruhe, dem Meere gleich, das nicht zur Ruhe kommen kann.
Of Damascus it will be ashamed Hamath and Arpad for new[s] bad they have heard they will melt away [is] in the sea anxiety to be quiet not it will be able.
24 Damaskus ist mutlos geworden, hat sich zur Flut gewandt, und Schrecken hat es erfaßt; Angst und Wehen haben es gepackt, wie eine gebärende.
It will be disheartened Damascus it will turn back to flee and panic - it will take hold distress and pains it will seize it like [woman] giving birth.
25 Ach, warum doch ward die herrliche Stadt, die Stadt meiner Wonne, nicht verlassen?
How! not it has been forsaken a city of (praise *Qk) [the] town of joy my.
26 Darum müssen nun ihre jungen Männer auf ihre Straßen fallen, und alle Kriegsleute jenes Tags hinweggetilgt werden, ist der Spruch Jahwes der Heerscharen.
Therefore they will fall young men its in open places its and all [the] men of war they will be silenced in the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.
27 Und ich lege Feuer an die Mauer von Damaskus, daß es die Paläste Benhadads verzehre.
And I will kindle a fire at [the] wall of Damascus and it will consume [the] fortresses of Ben Hadad.
28 Über Kedar und über die Königreiche von Hazor, die Nebukadrezar, der König von Babel, überwand: So spricht Jahwe: Auf! zieht wider Kedar und überwältigt die Bewohner des Ostens!
Of Kedar - and of [the] kingdoms of Hazor which he attacked (Nebuchadnezzar *QK) [the] king of Babylon thus he says Yahweh arise go up against Kedar and devastate [the] people of [the] east.
29 Ihre zelte und ihre Schafe soll man wegnehmen, ihre Zeltdecken, alle ihre Geräte und ihre Kamele soll man ihnen entführen; da soll man über sie ausrufen: Grauen ringsum!
Tents their and flock[s] their people will take away tent curtains their and all equipment their and camels their they will carry off for themselves and people will call out to them terror [is] from round about.
30 Flieht, flüchtet eiligst, versteckt euch tief drunten, ihr Bewohner von Hazor! - ist der Spruch Jahwes; denn Nebukadrezar, der König von Babel, hat einen Ratschluß wider euch gefaßt und einen Anschlag wider euch ersonnen.
Flee take flight exceedingly make deep to dwell O inhabitants of Hazor [the] utterance of Yahweh that he has planned on you Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon a plan and he has purposed (on you *QK) a purpose.
31 Auf! zieht wider ein harmloses Volk, das in Sicherheit wohnt - ist der Spruch Jahwes -, das weder Thüren noch Riegel hat: abgesondert wohnen sie!
Arise go up against a nation at ease [which] dwells to security [the] utterance of Yahweh not a pair of gates and not a bar [belong] to it alone they dwell.
32 Ihre Kamele sollen ein Raub, und die Menge ihrer Herden eine Beute werden, und ich will sie in alle Winde zerstreuen - die mit abgestutztem Haarrand - und von allen Seiten her Verderben für sie herbeiführen, ist der Spruch Jahwes.
And they will become camels their spoil and [the] abundance of livestock their plunder and I will scatter them to every wind [those who] are cut off of [the] corner and from all sides its I will bring disaster their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
33 Hazor aber soll zu einer Wohnstätte für Schakale werden, eine Einöde für immer: niemand wird mehr daselbst wohnen, noch ein Mensch darin weilen.
And it will become Hazor a habitation of jackals a desolation until perpetuity not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
34 Was als Wort Jahwes an den Propheten Jeremia erging in betreff Elams im Anfange der Regierung Zedekias, des Königs von Juda, also lautend:
Which it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam at [the] beginning of [the] reign of Zedekiah [the] king of Judah saying.
35 So spricht Jahwe der Heerscharen: Fürwahr, ich will den Bogen der Elamiter zerschmettern, ihre vornehmste Heldenkraft,
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts here I [am] about to break [the] bow of Elam [the] beginning of strength their.
36 und will über die Elamiter vier Winde von den vier Ecken des Himmels her hereinbrechen lassen und sie in alle Winde zerstreuen, und kein Volk soll es geben, wohin die versprengten Elams nicht gelangen werden.
And I will bring against Elam four winds from [the] four [the] ends of the heavens and I will scatter them to all the winds these and not it will be the nation where not it will go there [the] outcasts of (Elam. *QK)
37 Ich will die Elamiter verzagen lassen vor ihren Feinden und vor denen, die ihnen nach dem Leben trachten, und will Unheil über sie bringen, die Glut meines Zorns, ist der Spruch Jahwes, und das Schwert hinter ihnen her senden, bis ich sie aufgerieben habe.
And I will shatter Elam before enemies their and before - [those who] seek life their and I will bring on them - calamity [the] burning of anger my [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will send after them the sword until have made an end of I them.
38 Ich will meinen Richterstuhl in Elam aufstellen und von dort Könige und Oberste hinwegtilgen, ist der Spruch Jahwes.
And I will set throne my in Elam and I will destroy from there king and officials [the] utterance of Yahweh.
39 In der Folgezeit aber will ich die gefangenen Elams wieder zurückbringen, ist der Spruch Jahwes.
And it will be - at [the] end of the days (I will turn back *Qk) ([the] captivity of *Qk) Elam [the] utterance of Yahweh.
