Jeremia 42
1 Da nahten alle Heeresobersten mit Johanan, dem Sohne Kareahs, und Asarja, dem Sohne Hofajas, und allem Volke vom Kleinsten bis zum Größten
and to approach: approach all ruler [the] strength: soldiers and Johanan son: child Kareah and Jezaniah son: child Hoshaiah and all [the] people from small and till great: large
2 und sprachen zum Propheten Jeremia: Laß doch unsere Bitte bei dir Erhörung finden und bete für uns zu Jahwe, deinem Gotte, für diesen ganzen Überrest, - denn unser sind nur wenige von vielen übrig geblieben, wie du selbst hier an uns siehst, -
and to say to(wards) Jeremiah [the] prophet to fall: presenting please supplication our to/for face: before your and to pray about/through/for us to(wards) LORD God your about/through/for all [the] remnant [the] this for to remain little from to multiply like/as as which eye your to see: see [obj] us
3 und es möge uns Jahwe, dein Gott, den Weg kund thun, auf dem wir gehen, und die Weisung, die wir ausführen sollen!
and to tell to/for us LORD God your [obj] [the] way: conduct which to go: went in/on/with her and [obj] [the] word: thing which to make: do
4 Der Prophet Jeremia aber antwortete ihnen: Gut! So will ich denn zu Jahwe, eurem Gotte, beten, wie ihr wünscht, und den ganzen Bescheid, den Jahwe euch giebt, will ich euch kund thun; nicht ein Wort werde ich euch vorenthalten.
and to say to(wards) them Jeremiah [the] prophet to hear: hear look! I to pray to(wards) LORD God your like/as word: speaking your and to be all [the] word: thing which to answer LORD [obj] you to tell to/for you not to withhold from you word: thing
5 Sie aber sprachen zu Jeremia: Jahwe soll wahrhaftiger und zuverlässiger Zeuge wider uns sein, wenn wir nicht genau der Weisung gemäß handeln werden, mit der Jahwe, dein Gott, dich zu uns sendet;
and they(masc.) to say to(wards) Jeremiah to be LORD in/on/with us to/for witness truth: true and be faithful if not like/as all [the] word which to send: depart you LORD God your to(wards) us so to make: do
6 es sei Gutes oder Schlimmes, - auf das Gebot Jahwes, unseres Gottes, zu dem wir dich jetzt senden, wollen wir hören, damit es uns wohl ergehe, weil wir auf das Gebot Jahwes, unseres Gottes hören!

7 Nach Ablauf von zehn Tagen nun, da erging das Wort Jahwes an Jeremia,
and to be from end ten day and to be word LORD to(wards) Jeremiah
8 und er berief Johanan, den Sohn Kareahs, samt allen Heeresobersten, die bei ihm waren, und allem Volke, vom Kleinsten bis zum Größten,
and to call: call to to(wards) Johanan son: child Kareah and to(wards) all ruler [the] strength: soldiers which with him and to/for all [the] people to/for from small and till great: large
9 und sprach zu ihnen: So spricht Jahwe, der Gott Israels, zu dem ihr mich gesandt habt, damit ich euer Gebet vor ihn brächte:
and to say to(wards) them thus to say LORD God Israel which to send: depart [obj] me to(wards) him to/for to fall: presenting supplication your to/for face: before his
10 Wenn ihr in diesem Lande bleiben werdet, so will ich euch aufbauen und nicht wieder einreißen und euch einpflanzen und nicht wieder ausreißen; denn ich habe genug an dem Unheil, das ich euch angethan habe.
if to return: again to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet [the] this and to build [obj] you and not to overthrow and to plant [obj] you and not to uproot for to be sorry: relent to(wards) [the] distress: harm which to make: do to/for you
11 Ihr braucht euch nicht vor dem Könige von Babel zu fürchten, vor dem ihr nun in Furcht seid, - ihr braucht euch nicht vor ihm zu fürchten, ist der Spruch Jahwes; denn ich bin mit euch, euch zu helfen und euch aus seinen Händen zu erretten.
not to fear from face of king Babylon which you(m. p.) afraid from face of his not to fear from him utterance LORD for with you I to/for to save [obj] you and to/for to rescue [obj] you from hand: power his
12 Ich will euch bei ihm Erbarmen finden lassen, daß er sich euer erbarmt und euch auf euren Grund und Boden zurückkehren läßt.
and to give: give to/for you compassion and to have compassion [obj] you and to return: rescue [obj] you to(wards) land: soil your
13 Falls ihr aber denkt: Wir wollen nicht in diesem Lande bleiben! indem ihr auf das Gebot Jahwes, eures Gottes, nicht hört,
and if to say you(m. p.) not to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet [the] this to/for lest to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD God your
14 vielmehr sprecht: Nein! sondern nach Ägypten wollen wir ziehen, daß wir nicht Krieg erleben und Trompetenschall hören und nach Brot hungern müssen, und dort wollen wir bleiben! -
to/for to say not for land: country/planet Egypt to come (in): come which not to see: see battle and voice: sound trumpet not to hear: hear and to/for food: bread not be hungry and there to dwell
15 nun denn, so hört das Wort Jahwes, ihr von Juda Übriggebliebenen: So spricht Jahwe der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Wenn ihr wirklich Miene macht, nach Ägypten zu ziehen, und hinzieht, um dort als Fremdlinge zu weilen,
and now to/for so to hear: hear word LORD remnant Judah thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel if you(m. p.) to set: put to set: make [emph?] face your to/for to come (in): come Egypt and to come (in): come to/for to sojourn there
16 so soll das Schwert, vor dem ihr euch jetzt fürchtet, euch dort erreichen in Ägypten, und der Hunger, vor dem euch jetzt bangt, wird euch dorthin auf den Fersen folgen nach Ägypten, und dort sollt ihr umkommen.
and to be [the] sword which you(m. p.) afraid from her there to overtake [obj] you in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt and [the] famine which you(m. p.) be anxious from him there to cleave after you Egypt and there to die
17 Und alle Männer, die Miene machen, nach Ägypten zu ziehen, um dort als Fremdlinge zu weilen, sollen durch das Schwert, den Hunger und die Pest umkommen, und keinem von ihnen soll's gelingen, vor dem Unheil, das ich über sie kommen lassen will, zu entfliehen und sich zu retten.
and to be all [the] human which to set: make [obj] face their to/for to come (in): come Egypt to/for to sojourn there to die in/on/with sword in/on/with famine and in/on/with pestilence and not to be to/for them survivor and survivor from face: before [the] distress: harm which I to come (in): bring upon them
18 Denn so spricht Jahwe der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Gleichwie sich mein Zorn und mein Grimm über die Bewohner Jerusalems ergossen hat, also soll sich mein Grimm über euch ergießen, wenn ihr nach Ägypten zieht, und ihr sollt zu einem Gegenstande der Verwünschung und des Entsetzens, des Fluchs und der Beschimpfung werden und diese Gegend nicht wiedersehen!
for thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel like/as as which to pour face: anger my and rage my upon to dwell Jerusalem so to pour rage my upon you in/on/with to come (in): come you Egypt and to be to/for oath and to/for horror: appalled and to/for curse and to/for reproach and not to see: see still [obj] [the] place [the] this
19 So hat euch nun, ihr von Juda Übriggebliebenen, Jahwe geboten: Ihr sollt nicht nach Ägypten ziehen! Merkt euch wohl, daß ich euch heute verwarnt habe;
to speak: speak LORD upon you remnant Judah not to come (in): come Egypt to know to know for to testify in/on/with you [the] day
20 denn ihr betrogt euch selbst damit, daß ihr mich zu Jahwe, eurem Gotte sandtet, indem ihr spracht: Bete für uns zu Jahwe, unserem Gott, und gieb uns genau nach dem Bescheide, den Jahwe, unser Gott erteilen wird, Kunde, damit wir darnach handeln!

21 Ich habe ihn euch nun heute kundgethan, aber ihr habt auf das Gebot Jahwes, eures Gottes, nicht gehört und zwar in Bezug auf alles das, womit er mich an euch gesandt hat.
and to tell to/for you [the] day: today and not to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD God your and to/for all which to send: depart me to(wards) you
22 Und nun - so merkt euch wohl, daß ihr durch das Schwert, den Hunger und die Pest umkommen werdet an dem Orte, wohin es euch gefällt zu ziehen, um dort als Fremdlinge zu weilen.
and now to know to know for in/on/with sword in/on/with famine and in/on/with pestilence to die in/on/with place which to delight in to/for to come (in): come to/for to sojourn there
