Jesaja 22

1 Ausspruch über das Offenbarungsthal. Was ist dir doch, daß deine ganze Bevölkerung auf die Dächer stieg,

[the] oracle of [the] valley of Vision what? [is] to you then that you have gone up all of you to the roofs.

2 von Gebraus erfüllter, lärmender Ort, fröhliche Stadt? Deine Erschlagenen sind nicht mit dem Schwert erschlagen, sind nicht im Kampfe gefallen!

Noises - full O city turbulent O town jubilant slain [ones] your not [are] slain of a sword and not [are] dead of battle.

3 Alle deine Führer flohen insgesamt, wurden ohne einen Bogenschuß gefangen! So viele von den Deinen ergriffen wurden, die wurden insgesamt gefangen, waren sie auch weithin geflohen!

All rulers your they have fled together from a bow they have been captured all found [ones] your they were captured together from a distance they had fled.

4 Deshalb sage ich: Blickt weg von mir! Ich muß bitterlich weinen! Besteht nicht darauf, mich zu trösten, über den Untergang meiner Volksgenossen!

There-fore I said look away from me I will show bitterness with weeping may not you insist to comfort me on [the] devastation of [the] daughter of people my.

5 Denn von dem Herrn, Jahwe der Heerscharen, war ein Tag der Bestürzung und der Niederwerfung und der Verwirrung im Offenbarungsthale gekommen; Mauern wurden gestürzt und Geschrei hallte gegen die Berge.

For a day of consternation and trampling and confusion [belongs] to [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts in [the] valley of vision a breaking down of a wall and a crying out to the mountain.

6 Elam nahm den Köcher, dazu bemannte Wagen und Reiter, und Kir enthüllte den Schild.

And Elam it took up a quiver with chariotry of a man horsemen and Kir it uncovered a shield.

7 Da, als sich deine schönsten Ebenen mit Wagen gefüllt, und Reiter sich gegen die Thore aufgestellt,

And it was [the] choicest of valleys your they were full chariotry and the horsemen certainly they took a stand the gate towards.

8 und er die Decke von Juda weggezogen hatte, an jenem Tage blicktet ihr nach den Rüstungen des Waldhauses

And he uncovered [the] covering of Judah and you looked in the day that to [the] weaponry of [the] House of the Forest.

9 und saht, daß die Risse der Davidstadt zahlreich waren, und sammeltet das Wasser des unteren Teichs

And [the] breaches of [the] city of David you saw that they were many and you gathered [the] waters of the pool lower.

10 und mustertet die Häuser Jerusalems und rißt die Häuser nieder, um die Mauer zu befestigen,

And [the] houses of Jerusalem you counted and you pulled down the houses to fortify the city wall.

11 und machtet ein Sammelbecken zwischen den beiden Mauern für das Wasser des alten Teichs - aber nach dem, der es bewirkt hatte, blicktet ihr nicht, und nach dem, der es von lange her ersonnen hatte, schautet ihr nicht.

And a reservoir - you made between the two walls for [the] water of the pool old and not you looked to [the] [one who] made it and [the] [one who] planned it from distant [time] not you considered.

12 und als der Herr, Jahwe der Heerscharen, an jenem Tage zum Weinen und klagen und zum Glatzescheren und zum Anlegen von Trauergewändern rief,

And he called [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts in the day that for weeping and for wailing and for baldness and for girding of sackcloth.

13 da gab es Lust und Freude, Rindertöten und Schafeschlachten, Fleischessen und Weintrinken, Essen und Trinken, denn - “morgen sind wir tot”!

And there! - joy and gladness they are killing - cattle and they are slaughtering sheep they are eating meat and they are drinking wine we will eat and we will drink for tomorrow we will die.

14 Wieder und wieder hat sich Jahwe der Heerscharen in meinen Ohren vernehmen lassen: Wahrlich, diese Missethat soll euch nicht vergeben werden, bis ihr sterbt, - hat der Herr, Jahwe der Heerscharen, gesprochen.

And he has revealed himself in ears my Yahweh of hosts if it will be atoned for the iniquity this for you until you will die! he says [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts.

15 So hat der Herr, Jahwe der Heerscharen, gesprochen: Auf, mache dich an diesen Verwalter, an Sebna, den Hausminister:

Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts come go to the steward this to Shebna who [is] over the house.

16 Was hast du hier und wen hast du hier, daß du dir hier ein Grab hast aushauen lassen? Läßt er sich da sein Grab hoch oben aushauen, sich eine Kammer in den Felsen meißeln!

What? [belongs] to you here and who? [belongs] to you here that you have dug out for yourself here a tomb digging out high place tomb his cutting in the rock a dwelling for himself.

17 Bald schleudert Jahwe dich wuchtig, o Mann, indem er dich gewaltig packt,

There! Yahweh [is] about to hurl away you hurling O man and [is] about to grasp you completely.

18 dich wickelt, kräftig wickelt, wie einen Ball in ein weit und breit offenes Land! Dorthin sollst du kommen, um zu sterben, dorthin deine herrlichen Wagen, du Schmach für das Haus deines Herrn!

Certainly he will wind up you a winding a ball to a land broad of both hands there you will die and there [the] chariots of splendor your [will be] [the] disgrace of [the] house of master your.

19 Ich will dich aus deinem Amte stoßen, und von deiner Stelle soll man dich herunterreißen.

And I will push you from office your and from post your he will tear down you.

20 An jenem Tag aber will ich meinen Knecht Eljakim, den Sohn des Hilkia, berufen,

And it will be in the day that and I will summon servant my Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah.

21 ihn mit deinem Leibrocke bekleiden, deine Schärpe ihm fest umlegen und deine Gewalt seinen Händen übergeben, daß er den Bewohnern Jerusalems und dem Hause Juda ein Vater werde.

And I will clothe him tunic your and sash your I will make firm on him and authority your I will put in hand his and he will become a father of [the] inhabitant[s] of Jerusalem and of [the] house of Judah.

22 Ich will ihm den Schlüssel des Haues Davids übertragen, daß, wenn er öffnet, niemand verschließe, wenn er verschließt, niemand öffnen soll!

And I will put [the] key of [the] house of David on shoulder his and he will open and there not [will be one who] shuts and he will shut and there not [will be one who] opens.

23 Ich will ihn als Nagel an einem festen Ort einschlagen, und er soll ein Ehrenthron für sein väterliches Haus werden.

And I will drive him a tent peg in a place firm and he will become a seat of honor for [the] house of father his.

24 Da wird sich dann die ganze Wucht seines väterlichen Hauses an ihn hängen, Kind und Kegel, all' das kleine Geschirr, sowohl das Beckengeschirr, als auch sämtliches Kruggeschirr.

And they will hang on him all - [the] honor of [the] house of father his the descendants and the offshoot all [the] vessels of the small from [the] vessels of the bowls and unto all [the] vessels of the jars.

25 An jenem Tage - ist der Spruch Jahwes der Heerscharen - wird der Nagel, der an einem festen Ort eingeschlagen war, nachgeben, wird heruntergeschlagen werden und fallen, daß die Last, die daran hängt, zu Grunde geht. Ja, Jahwe hat es geredet!

In the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts it will be removed the tent peg that was driven in a place firm and it will be cut down and it will fall and it will be cut off the burden which [was] on it for Yahweh he has spoken.
