1 Mose 15
1 Nach diesen Begebenheiten erging das Wort Jahwes an Abram in einem Gesicht; und er sprach: Fürchte dich nicht, Abram; ich bin dein Schild - es wartet deiner reicher Lohn!
After these deades ye worde of God came vnto Abram in a vision saynge feare not Abram I am thy shilde and thy rewarde shalbe exceadynge greate.
2 Da sprach Abram: O Herr Jahwe! Was willst du mir geben, während ich doch kinderlos dahingehe, und der Erbe meines Besitzes wird Elieser sein.
And Abram answered: LORde Iehouah what wilt thou geue me: I goo childlesse and the cater of myne housse this Eleasar of Damasco hath a sonne.
3 Und Abram sprach: Mir hast du ja keine Nachkommenschaft gegeben; so wird denn ein Leibeigener meines Hauses mich beerben.
And Abram sayd: se to me hast thou geven no seed: lo a lad borne in my housse shalbe myne heyre.
4 Aber das Wort Jahwes erging an ihn also: Er soll nicht dein Erbe sein, sondern einer, der von deinem Leibe kommen wird, der soll dich beerben!
And beholde the worde of the LORde spake vnto Abram sayenge: He shall not be thyne heyre but one that shall come out of thyne awne bodye shalbe thyne heyre.
5 Und er führte ihn hinaus ins Freie und sprach: Blicke auf zum Himmel und zähle die Sterne, ob du sie zu zählen vermagst! Und er sprach zu ihm: So zahlreich sollen deine Nachkommen sein!
And he brought him out at the doores ad sayde. Loke vpp vnto heaven and tell the starres yf thou be able to nobre them. And sayde vnto him Even so shall thy seed be.
6 Und er glaubte Jahwe, und das rechnete er ihm zu als Gerechtigkeit.
And Abram beleved the LORde and it was counted to him for rightwesnes.
7 Da sprach er zu ihm: Ich bin Jahwe, der dich ausgeführt hat aus Ur in Chaldäa, um dir dieses Land zu eigen zu geben.
And he sayde vnto hym: I am the LORde that brought the out of Vrin Chaldea to geue the this lande to possesse it.
8 Und er sprach: O Herr Jahwe! Woran soll ich erkennen, daß ich es besitzen werde?
And he sayde: LORde God whereby shall I knowe that I shall possesse it?
9 Da sprach er zu ihm: Hole mir eine dreijährige Kuh, eine dreijährige Ziege, einen dreijährigen Widder, eine Turteltaube und eine junge Taube.
And he sayde vnto him: take an heyfer of. iij. yere olde and a she gotte of thre yeres olde and a thre yere olde ram a turtill doue and a yonge pigeon.
10 Da holte er ihm alle diese, zerteilte sie in je zwei gleiche Teile und legte je die eine Hälfte der andern gegenüber; die Vögel aber zerteilte er nicht.
And he toke all these and devyded them in the myddes and layde euery pece one over agenst a nother. But the foules devyded he not.
11 Da stießen die Raubvögel herab auf die Stücke; Abram aber scheuchte sie hinweg.
And the byrdes fell on the carcases but Abra droue the awaye.
12 Als nun die Sonne untergehen wollte, da fiel ein tiefer Schlaf auf Abram, und Beängstigung, dichte Finsternis überfiel ihn.
And when the sonne was doune there fell a slomber apon Abram. And loo feare and greate darknesse came apon hym.
13 Da sprach er zu Abram: Du mußt wissen, daß deine Nachkommen Fremdlinge sein werden in einem Lande, das ihnen nicht gehört; und sie werden ihnen leibeigen sein, und jene werden sie hart bedrücken vierhundert Jahre lang.
And he sayde vnto Abram: knowe this of a suertie that thi seed shalbe a straunger in a lande that perteyneth not vnto the. And they shall make bondmen of them and entreate them evell iiij. hundred yeares.
14 Aber auch das Volk, dem sie leibeigen sein werden, will ich richten, und darnach sollen sie ausziehen mit reicher Habe.
But the nation whom they shall serue wyll I iudge. And after warde shall they come out wyth greate substace.
15 Du aber wirst in Frieden zu deinen Vätern eingehen; du wirst begraben werden in einem schönen Alter.
Neuerthelesse thou shalt goo vnto thi fathers in peace ad shalt be buried when thou art of a good age:
16 Und das vierte Geschlecht von ihnen wird hierher zurückkehren; denn noch ist das Maß der Schuld der Amoriter nicht voll.
ad in the fourth generation they shall come hyther agayne for the wekednesse of the Amorites ys not yet full.
17 Als aber die Sonne untergegangen und dichte Finsternis eingetreten war, da kam ein Rauch, wie aus einem Ofen, und eine Feuerfackel, die zwischen jenen Stücken hindurchging.
When the sonne was doune and it was waxed darke: beholde there was a smokynge furnesse and a fyre brand that went betwene the sayde peces.
18 An jenem Tage schloß Jahwe einen Bund mit Abram und sprach: Deinen Nachkommen will ich dieses Land geben vom Strome Ägyptens an bis zum großen Strom, dem Euphratstrom,
And that same daye the LORde made a covenaunte with Abram saynge: vnto thy seed wyll I geue thys londe fro the ryver of Egypte even vnto the greate ryver euphrates:
19 das Land der Keniter, der Kenissiter, der Kadmoniter,
the kenytes the kenizites the Cadmonites
20 der Hethiter, der Pheresiter, der Rephaiter,
the Hethites the Pherezites the Raphaims
21 der Amoriter, der Kanaaniter, der Girgasiter und der Jebusiter.
the Amorytes the Canaanites the Gergesites and the Iebusites.
