Hesekiel 42

1 Sodann brachte er mich hinaus in den äußeren Vorhof in der Richtung nach Norden zu. Und er brachte mich zu der Zelle, die gegenüber dem eingefriedigten Raum und gegenüber dem Gebäude nach Norden zu liegt.

And he brought out me to the courtyard outer the way [the] direction of the north and he brought me to the room which [was] before the separate place and which [was] before the structure to the north.

2 Die Länge derselben betrug hundert Ellen, und die Breite betrug fünfzig Ellen.

To [the] face of length cubits the hundred [the] entrance of the north and the breadth [was] fifty cubits.

3 Und gegenüber den Thüren, die zum inneren Vorhof führten, und gegenüber dem Steinpflaster des äußeren Vorhofs war ein Säulengang vor dem andern, so daß es im Ganzen drei Hallen waren.

Before the twenty [cubits] which [belonged] to the courtyard inner and before [the] pavement which [belonged] to the courtyard outer a gallery [was] to [the] face of a gallery in the thirds.

4 Und vor den Zellen war ein Gang von zehn Ellen Breite nach dem inneren Vorhofe hundert Ellen lang, und ihre Thüren gingen nach Norden zu.

And [was] before the rooms a passage of ten cubits breadth to the inner [court] a way of a cubit one and entrances their [were] to the north.

5 Aber die oberen Zellen waren verkürzt; denn Säulengänge nahmen ihnen mehr Raum weg, als den unteren und den mittleren.

And the rooms upper [were] short for they consumed galleries from them more than the lower [rooms] and more than the middle [rooms] [the] structure.

6 Denn sie waren dreistöckig und hatten keine Säulen entsprechend den Säulen der Vorhöfe; deshalb waren die oberen Zellen verkürzt gegen die unteren und mittleren Zellen.

For [were] divided into three parts they and not [belonged] to them columns like [the] columns of the courtyards there-fore it was shortened more than the lower [rooms] and more than the middle [rooms] from the ground.

7 Und die Mauer, welche draußen, den Zellen entsprechend, nach dem äußeren Vorhofe zu vor den Zellen hinlief, hatte eine Länge von fünfzig Ellen.

And [the] wall which [was] to the outside close to the rooms [the] direction of the courtyard outer to [the] face of the rooms length its [was] fifty cubit[s].

8 Denn die Länge der Zellen, die nach dem äußeren Vorhofe zu lagen, betrug fünfzig Ellen.

For [the] length of the rooms which [belonged] to the courtyard outer [was] fifty cubit[s] and there! on [the] face of the temple a hundred cubit[s].

9 Unterhalb dieser Zellen aber war der Eingang von Osten her, wenn man vom äußeren Vorhof aus zu ihnen eintritt.

(And [was] from under the rooms *QK) these (the [one] bringing *QK) from the east when comes he to them from the courtyard outer.

10 In der Richtung nach Osten zu vor dem eingefriedigten Raum und vor dem Hintergebäude waren auch Zellen.

In [the] breadth of - [the] wall of the courtyard [the] direction of the east [were] to [the] face of the separate place and to [the] face of the structure rooms.

11 Und vor ihnen war ein Weg, und ihr Aussehen war ebenso, wie die Zellen aussahen, die nach Norden zu lagen, sowohl der Länge, wie der Breite nach gleich, und alle ihre Ausgänge waren wie jene eingerichtet und wie ihre Thüren.

And a way [was] before them like [the] appearance of the rooms which [were] [the] direction of the north like length their [was] so breadth their and all exits their and like plans their and like entrances their.

12 Und ähnlich den Thüren der Zellen, die nach Süden zu lagen, so war bei ihnen eine Thüre am Anfange des Wegs, der nach dem äußeren Vorhof führt in der Richtung nach Osten zu, durch die sie einzutreten pflegten.

And like [the] entrances of the rooms which [were] [the] direction of the south an entrance [was] at [the] head of a way a way in front of the wall corresponding [the] direction of the east when come [to] them.

13 Und er sprach zu mir: Die Zellen im Norden und die Zellen im Süden, die vor dem eingefriedigten Raume liegen, das sind die heiligen Zellen, woselbst die Priester, die Jahwe nahen dürfen, das Hochheilige essen sollen. Dort sollen sie das Hochheilige niederlegen und das Speisopfer und das Sündopfer und das Schuldopfer; denn der Platz ist heilig.

And he said to me [the] rooms of the north [the] rooms of the south which [are] to [the] face of the separate place they - [are] [the] rooms of holiness where they will eat there the priests who [are] near to Yahweh [the] holy things of the holy things there they will set down - [the] holy things of the holy things and the grain offering and the sin offering and the guilt offering for the place [is] holy.

14 Wenn die Priester eintreten, sollen sie dort ihre Kleider niederlegen, in denen sie den Dienst verrichten; denn diese sind heilig, sollen andere Kleider anziehen und dann erst dem nahen, was dem Volke gehört.

When go they the priests and not they will go out from the holy place into the courtyard outer and there they will set down clothes their which they will serve in them for [are] a holy thing they (and they will put on *QK) clothes other and they will draw near to [that] which [is] for the people.

15 Als er aber mit der Vermessung des inneren Baues zu Ende gekommen war, führte er mich hinaus in der Richtung nach dem Thore zu, dessen Vorderseite in der Richtung nach Osten zu liegt, und maß den Bau von außen ringsum.

And he had completed [the] measurements of the house inner and he brought out me [the] way of the gate which face its [was] [the] direction of the east and he measured it all around - all around.

16 Er maß die Ostseite mit dem Rutenstabe: 500 Ruten nach dem Rutenstabe ringsum.

He measured [the] side of the east with [the] reed of measurement five (hundred *QK) reeds by [the] reed of measurement all around.

17 Er maß die Nordseite: 500 Ruten nach dem Rutenstabe ringsum;

He measured [the] side of the north five hundred reeds by [the] reed of measurement all around.

18 die Südseite maß er: 500 Ruten nach dem Rutenstabe.

[the] side of The south he measured five hundred reeds by [the] reed of measurement.

19 Er ging herum nach der Westseite und maß 500 Ruten nach dem Rutenstabe:

He turned to [the] side of the sea he measured [it] five hundred reeds by [the] reed of measurement.

20 nach allen vier Seiten maß er ihn. Ringsum hatte er eine Mauer: 500 Ruten lang und 500 Ruten breit, um das Heiligtum vom Gemeinen zu sondern.

To four sides he measured it a wall [belonged] to it all around - all around [the] length [was] five hundred [cubits] and [the] breadth [was] five hundred [cubits] to make a distinction between holy thing and a profane thing.
