Hesekiel 33
1 Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
2 Menschensohn, sprich zu deinen Volksgenossen und sage ihnen: Wenn ich das Schwert über ein Land kommen lasse, und die Bewohner des Landes nehmen aus ihrer Gesamtheit einen Mann und bestellen ihn für sich zum Wächter,
O son of humankind speak to [the] children of people your and you will say to them a land that I will bring on it a sword and they will choose [the] people of the land a man one from ends their and they will make him for them into a watchman.
3 und der sieht das Schwert über das Land kommen und stößt in die Trompete und warnt das Volk, -
And he will see the sword coming on the land and he will give a blast on the trumpet and he will warn the people.
4 wenn dann der, welcher den Trompetenschall hört, sich nicht warnen läßt, und das Schwert kommt und rafft ihn hinweg, so sei sein Blut auf seinem Haupte!
And he will hear the [one who] hears [the] sound of the trumpet and not he took warning and it came [the] sword and it took him blood his on head his it will be.
5 Er hat den Trompetenschall gehört, hat sich aber nicht warnen lassen: sein Blut sei auf ihm! Jener aber hat gewarnt und sein Leben gerettet.
[the] sound of The trumpet he heard and not he took warning blood his on him it will be and he he had taken warning life his he delivered.
6 Wenn aber der Wächter das Schwert kommen sieht und nicht in die Trompete stößt, und das Volk somit nicht gewarnt wird, und es kommt das Schwert und rafft jemanden von ihnen dahin: so wird dieser infolge seiner Verschuldung dahingerafft, aber sein Blut will ich von der Hand des Wächters verlangen.
And the watchman if he will see the sword coming and not he will give a blast on the trumpet and the people not it was warned and it came [the] sword and it took of them anyone he in iniquity his he was taken and blood his from [the] hand of the watchman I will require.
7 Dich aber, o Menschensohn, habe ich zum Wächter für das Haus Israel bestellt, damit du sie, wenn du aus meinem Mund ein Wort vernommen hast, von meinetwegen verwarnest.
And you O son of humankind a watchman I have appointed you for [the] house of Israel and you will hear from mouth my a word and you will warn them from me.
8 Wenn ich zum Gottlosen sage: Gottloser, du mußt sterben! und du sagst nichts, um den Gottlosen wegen seines Wandels zu verwarnen, so wird er, der Gottlose infolge seiner Verschuldung sterben, aber sein Blut will ich von deiner Hand verlangen.
When say I to the wicked [person] O wicked [person] surely you will die and not you have spoken to warn [the] wicked [person] from way his that wicked [person] in iniquity his he will die and blood his from hand your I will require.
9 Wenn du aber deinerseits den Gottlosen wegen seines Wandels verwarnt hast, daß er sich von ihm bekehren soll, er sich aber nicht von seinem Wandel bekehrt, so wird er zwar infolge seiner Verschuldung sterben, aber du hast sein Leben gerettet.
And you if you have warned [the] wicked [person] from way his to turn back from it and not he has turned back from way his he in iniquity his he will die and you life your you have delivered.
10 Und du, o Menschensohn, sprich zum Hause Israel: Folgendermaßen habt ihr gesagt: Fürwahr, unsere Abtrünnigkeiten und unsere Sünden lasten auf uns, und durch sie schwinden wir dahin und wie könnten wir mit dem Leben davonkommen?
And you O son of humankind say to [the] house of Israel thus you have said saying that transgressions our and sins our [are] on us and in them we [are] wasting away and how? will we live.
11 Sprich zu ihnen: So wahr ich lebe, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe: ich habe keineswegs Wohlgefallen am Tode des Gottlosen, sondern daran, daß sich der Gottlose von seinem Wandel bekehrt und am Leben bleibt. Bekehrt euch, bekehrt euch von euren bösen Wegen! Warum wollt ihr denn sterben, Haus Israel?
Say to them [by] [the] life of me - [the] utterance of - [the] Lord Yahweh if I take pleasure in [the] death of the wicked [person] that except when turns back a wicked [person] from way his and he will live turn back turn back from ways your evil and why? will you die O house of Israel.
12 Du aber, o Menschensohn, sprich zu deinen Volksgenossen: den Frommen wird seine Frömmigkeit nicht retten an dem Tage, da er sich vergeht, und den Gottlosen wird seine Gottlosigkeit nicht zu Falle bringen an dem Tage, da er sich von seiner Gottlosigkeit bekehrt; aber auch ein Frommer kann durch sie nicht am Leben erhalten bleiben am Tage, da er sich versündigt.
And you O son of humankind say to [the] children of people your [the] righteousness of the righteous [person] not it will deliver him on [the] day of transgression his and [the] wickedness of the wicked [person] not he will stumble in it on [the] day turns back he from wickedness his and a righteous [person] not he will be able to live in it on [the] day sins he.
13 Wenn ich zu den Frommen sage: du sollst sicher am Leben bleiben! und er verläßt sich auf seine bisherige Frömmigkeit und verübt Frevel, so soll aller seiner frommen Thaten nicht mehr gedacht werden, sondern wegen seines Frevels, den er verübt hat, soll er sterben.
When say I to the righteous [person] certainly he will live and he he relies on righteousness his and he will do unrighteousness all (righteousness his *QK) not they will be remembered and in unrighteousness his which he has done in it he will die.
14 Und wenn ich zu den Gottlosen sagen: du mußt sterben! und er bekehrt sich von seiner Sünde und übt fortan Recht und Gerechtigkeit,
And when say I to the wicked [person] surely you will die and he will turn back from sin his and he will do justice and righteousness.
15 giebt Pfänder zurück, erstattet das Geraubte wieder, wandelt nach den Satzungen, die zum Leben führen, so daß er keinen Frevel verübt: der soll leben bleiben und nicht sterben!
A pledge he will return a wicked [person] robbery he will repay in [the] statutes of life he walks to not to do unrighteousness certainly he will live not he will die.
16 Alle seine Sünden, die er zuvor begangen, sollen ihm nicht angerechnet werden: Recht und Gerechtigkeit hat er geübt, er soll am Leben bleiben!
All (sins his *QK) which he has sinned not they will be remembered to him justice and righteousness he has done certainly he will live.
17 Und da sprechen die Volksgenossen: das Verfahren des Herrn ist nicht in Ordnung, während doch ihr eignes Verfahren nicht in Ordnung ist?
And they say [the] children of people your not it is correct [the] way of [the] Lord and they own way their not it is correct.
18 Wenn ein Frommer von seiner Frömmigkeit abläßt und Frevel verübt, so muß er deswegen sterben.
When turns back a righteous [person] from righteousness his and he will do unrighteousness and he will die in them.
19 Und wenn sich ein Gottloser von seiner Gottlosigkeit bekehrt und fortan Recht und Gerechtigkeit übt, so soll er infolgedessen am Leben bleiben.
And when turns back a wicked [person] from wickedness his and he will do justice and righteousness on them he he will live.
20 Und da sprecht ihr: das Verfahren des Herrn ist nicht in Ordnung? Einen jeden von euch werde ich nach seinem Wandel richten, Haus Israel!
And you say not it is correct [the] way of [the] Lord everyone according to ways his I will judge you O house of Israel.
21 Im elften Jahr aber nach unserer Wegführung, im zehnten Monat, am fünften des Monats kam zu mir ein Flüchtling von Jerusalem mit der Kunde: die Stadt ist erobert!
And it was in two plus ten year in the tenth [month] on [day] five of the month of exile our he came to me the escapee from Jerusalem saying it has been struck the city.
22 Nun war am Abend vor dem Eintreffen des Flüchtlings die Hand Jahwes über mich gekommen, und er hatte mir den Mund aufgethan, ehe jener am Morgen zu mir kam, und mein Mund blieb aufgethan, und ich war nicht länger stumm.
And [the] hand of Yahweh it had been to me in the evening before came the escapee and he had opened mouth my until came to me in the morning and it was opened mouth my and not I was dumb again.
23 Und das Wort Jahwes erging an mich folgendermaßen:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
24 Menschensohn, die Bewohner dieser Trümmer im Land Israel sprechen also: Abraham war nur ein einzelner Mann und bekam doch das Land zum Besitz; unser aber sind viele: und ward das Land zum Besitztume gegeben!
O son of humankind [the] inhabitants of the waste places these on [the] land of Israel [are] saying saying one he was Abraham and he possessed the land and we [are] many to us it has been given the land to a possession.
25 Darum sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Auf den Bergen eßt ihr Opferfleisch und zu euren Götzen erhebt ihr eure Augen und Blut vergießt ihr - und da wollt ihr das Land zum Besitz haben?
Therefore say to them thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh with the blood - you eat and eyes your you lift up to idols your and blood you shed and? land will you possess?
26 Ihr steift euch auf euer Schwert, ihr verübt Greuel, ihr verunreinigt einer des andern Weib - und da wollt ihr das Land zum Besitz haben?
You have stood on sword your you have done abomination and everyone [the] wife of neighbor his you have defiled and the land will you possess?
27 So sollst du zu ihnen sprechen: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: So wahr ich lebe: die auf den Trümmern sind, sollen durchs Schwert fallen, die auf freiem Felde sind, gebe ich den wilden Tieren zum Fraße, und die auf den Felsklippen und in den Höhlen sind, sollen an der Pest sterben.
Thus you will say to them thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh [by] [the] life of me if not [those] who [are] in the waste places by the sword they will fall and [the one] who [is] on [the] surface of the field to the animal[s] I will give him to eat him and [those] who [are] in the strongholds and in the caves by pestilence they will die.
28 Und ich will das Land zur Wüstenei und zur Wüste machen, und aus ist's mit seiner stolzen Hoffart, und die Berge Israels sollen wüste liegen, daß niemand mehr über sie dahinzieht.
And I will make the land a desolation and a waste and it will cease [the] pride of strength its and they will be desolate [the] mountains of Israel from not [one who] passes by.
29 Und sie werden erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin wenn ich dies Land zur Wüstenei und zur Wüste mache wegen aller ihrer Greuel, die sie verübt haben.
And they will know that I [am] Yahweh when make I the land a desolation and a waste on all abominations their which they have done.
30 Menschensohn, deine Volksgenossen unterreden sich über dich an den Wänden und in den Hausthüren; da sagen sie untereinander also: Kommt doch und hört, was für ein Ausspruch von Jahwe ausgeht!
And you O son of humankind [the] children of people your who are speaking together in you beside the walls and in [the] doorways of the houses and he speaks one with one each with brother his saying come please and hear what? [is] the word that is coming out from with Yahweh.
31 Und sie kommen zu dir scharenweise und sitzen vor dir; aber wenn sie deine Worte angehört haben, so thun sie doch nicht darnach. Denn Lügen haben sie im Mund, aber ihr Herz läuft ihrem Gewinne nach.
So they may come to you like [the] coming of a people so they may sit before you people my and they hear words your and them not they do for lustful desires in mouth their they [are] doing after unjust gain their heart their [is] going.
32 Und fürwahr: du bist für sie wie ein Liebeslied, wie einer, der eine schöne Stimme hat und trefflich die Saiten spielt; und so hören sie deine Worte an, thun aber nicht darnach.
And there you to them [are] like a song of lustful desires [one] beautiful of voice and [one who] does well to play and they hear words your and [are] doing not they them.
33 Aber wenn es eintrifft, - und es trifft ein, fürwahr! - dann werden sie erkennen, daß ein Prophet unter ihnen war.
And when comes it there! [it is] coming and they will know that a prophet he has been in midst of them.
