Hesekiel 30

1 Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:

And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:

2 Menschensohn, weissage und sprich: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Schreit wehe über den Tag!

Son of man Prophesy. and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Howl ye. Alas for the day!

3 Denn nahe ist ein Tag, ja, nahe ein Tag Jahwes; ein Tag der Umwölkung, eine Gerichtszeit für die Völker wird er sein.

For near, is a day, Yea near, is a day pertaining to Yahweh, A day of cloud, A time of nations, shall it be!

4 Und es wird ein Schwert nach Ägypten kommen, und Kusch wird in Zuckungen fallen, wenn in Ägypten Erschlagene dahinsinken, und wenn man seinen Reichtum davonführt, und seine Grundfesten eingerissen werden.

Then shall come a sword into Egypt, And there shall be a pang in Ethiopia When the deadly wounded one falleth in Egypt, - And they take away her multitude, and, her foundations, are broken down.

5 Kusch und Put und Lut und das ganze Völkergemisch und Lub und die Kreter werden mit ihnen durch das Schwert fallen.

Ethiopia and Libya and Lydia, and all the mixed multitude and Cub, and the sons of the land of the covenant with them—by the sword, shall they fall.

6 So spricht Jahwe: Da werden dann die Stützen Ägyptens fallen und seine stolze Pracht wird hinab sinken; von Migdol bis Syene werden sie durchs Schwert in ihm fallen, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.

Thus saith Yahweh, Then shall fall the supporters of Egypt, Then shall come down the pride of her strength, —From Migdol to Seweneh, by the sword shall they fall therein, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.

7 Und sie werden verwüstet sein inmitten verwüsteter Länder, und seine Städte werden inmitten verödeter Städte da liegen.

So shall they be made desolate in the midst of lands that are desolate, - And: his cities—in the midst of cities that are laid waste, shall be found.

8 Und sie werden erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin, wenn ich Feuer an Ägypten lege, und alle seine Helfer zerschmettert werden.

So shall they know that, I am Yahweh, - By my setting a fire in Egypt, When all her helpers shall be broken.

9 An jenem Tage werden Boten vor mir her ausgehen auf Schiffen, um das sorglose Kusch aufzuschrecken, und sie werden in Zuckungen fallen ob des Unglückstags Ägyptens, denn fürwahr, er kommt!

In that day, shall messengers go forth from before me making haste, to cause dread unto Ethiopia so confident, - And a pang shall be upon them in the day of Egypt, For lo! it cometh.

10 So spricht der Herr Jahwe: So werde ich dem Gelärm Ägyptens ein Ende machen durch die Hand Nebukadrezars, des Königs von Babel.

Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, — Therefore will I cause to cease the multitude of Egypt, by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon:

11 Er und sein Kriegsvolk mit ihm, grausamste Völker, werden herbeigeführt, das Land zu verheeren, und sie werden ihre Schwerter gegen Ägypten ziehen und das Land mit Erschlagenen füllen.

He, and his people with him the terrible ones of the nations are about to be brought in to destroy the land, - Therefore shall they unsheathe their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain;

12 Und ich werde die Ströme trocken legen und das Land in die Hand von Bösewichtern verkaufen und das Land samt dem, was es füllt, durch die Hand Fremder verwüsten. Ich Jahwe, habe es geredet!

And I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of wicked one.—and make the land desolate with the fulness thereof, by the hand of foreigners, I, Yahweh! have spoken.

13 So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Ich mache zunichte die Götzen und vertilge die Abgötter aus Noph und die Fürsten aus Ägyptenland, daß es künftig keine mehr geben soll; und ich werde Ägypten in Furcht setzen.

Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Therefore will I destroy the manufactured gods and Cause to cease the worthless goals, out of Noph, And prince out of the land of Egypt, shall none arise any more, - And I will cause fear in the land of Egypt.

14 Und ich verwüste Pathros und lege Feuer an Zoan und vollstrecke Gerichte an No.

Then will I bring desolation upon Pathros, and Set a fire in Zoan, and Execute judgments upon No: and

15 Und ich will meinen Grimm ausschütten über Sin, das Bollwerk Ägyptens, und das Volksgetümmel von No ausrotten.

Pour out mine indignation upon Sin the stronghold of Egypt, and Will cut off the multitude of No.

16 Ich will Feuer an Ägypten legen: Sin soll zittern und beben, in No wird Bresche gelegt werden, und Nophs Bewohner werden Feinde vergewaltigen.

So will I set a fire in Egypt, Sore anguish shall take Sin. And, No, shall be for rending asunder, And Noph, be in straits every day,

17 Die Jünglinge von On und Pibeset werden durch das Schwert fallen, andere Städte in die Verbannung gehen.

The young men of Aven and Pi-beseth, by the sword, shall fall; And lo! into captivity, shall they themselves wend their way.

18 In Thachpanhes wird sich der Tag verdunkeln, wenn ich daselbst die Scepter Ägyptens zerbreche, und seiner stolzen Pracht darin ein Ende gemacht wird. Sie selbst wird Gewölk bedecken, und ihre Tochterstädte werden in die Verbannung gehen.

And in Tehaphnehes, hath the day become dark, Because I have broken, there the yoke-bars of Egypt, And there shall be made to cease therein the pride of her strength, — She, a cloud, shall cover her! And her daughters into captivity, shall wend their way.

19 Und so werde ich Gerichte an Ägypten vollstrecken, damit sie erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin.

Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt; And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.

20 Im elften Jahr aber, im ersten Monat, am siebenten des Monats, erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:

And it came to pass in the eleventh year in the first month on the seventh of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

21 Menschensohn, den Arm des Pharao, des Königs von Ägypten, habe ich zerbrochen, und fürwahr, er soll nicht verbunden werden, daß ihm Heilung geschafft würde, indem man einen Verband anlegte, daß er wieder kraft bekäme, um das Schwert zu ergreifen.

Son of man, The arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, have I broken, - And lo! it hath not been bound up-To apply healing remedies To put on a bandage for binding it up. To make it strong to grasp the sword.

22 Deshalb spricht der Herr Jahwe also: Fürwahr, ich will an den Pharao, den König von Ägypten, und will seine Arme zerbrechen und ihm das Schwert aus der Hand schlagen.

Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh-Behold me! against Pharaoh king of Egypt, Therefore will I break his arms, That which is strong, and That which is broken, - So will I cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

23 Und ich will die Ägypter unter die Völker zerstreuen und in die Länder versprengen.

And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations, — And scatter them throughout the lands;

24 Ich will die Arme des Königs von Babel stärken und ihm mein Schwert in die Hand geben; die Arme des Pharao aber will ich zerbrechen, daß er vor jenem ächzen soll, wie ein Durchbohrter ächzt.

And will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, And put my sword into his hand, - And will break the arms of Pharaoh, And he shall utter the groans of one thrust through, before him.

25 Aber die Arme des Königs von Babel will ich stärken, während die Arme des Pharao herabsinken werden, und sie sollen erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin, wenn ich dem Könige von Babel mein Schwert in die Hand gebe, daß er es über Ägypten schwinge.

Yea I will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, But the arms of Pharaoh shall fall, And they shall know that I am Yahweh By my putting my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, And he shall stretch it out against the land of Egypt.

26 Und ich werde die Ägypter unter die Völker zerstreuen und sie in die Länder versprengen, damit sie erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin.

So will I disperse the Egyptians among the nations, And scatter them throughout the lands, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
