Hesekiel 29
1 Im zehnten Jahr, im zehnten Monat, am zwölften des Monats, erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:
In the tenthe yeer, in the tweluethe monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide,
2 Menschensohn, richte dein Antlitz gegen den Pharao, den König von Ägypten, und weissage wider ihn und wider ganz Ägypten.
Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens Farao, king of Egipt; and thou schalt profesie of hym, and of al Egipt.
3 Sprich und sage: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Fürwahr, ich will an dich, Pharao, König von Ägypten, du großes Krokodil, das inmitten seiner Ströme lagert, das da spricht: Mein ist der Nil, ich habe ihn gemacht!
Speke thou, and thou schalt seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y to thee, thou Farao, kyng of Egipt, thou grete dragoun, that liggist in the myddis of thi floodis, and seist, The flood is myn, and Y made mysilf.
4 So will ich denn Haken in deine Kinnbacken legen und die Fische deiner Ströme an deine Schuppen ankleben lassen und dich mitten aus deinen Strömen herausziehen samt allen Fischen deiner Ströme, die an deinen Schuppen kleben.
And Y schal sette a bridil in thi chekis, and Y schal glue the fischis of thi floodis to thi scalis; and Y schal drawe thee out of the myddis of thi floodis, and alle thi fischis schulen cleue to thi scalis.
5 Und ich will dich in die Wüste verstoßen, dich und alle Fische deiner Ströme; auf das freie Feld sollst du hinfallen, wirst nicht aufgehoben noch bestattet werden: den wilden Tieren und den Vögeln unter dem Himmel gebe ich dich zum Fraße.
And Y schal caste thee forth in to desert, and alle the fischis of thi flood; on the face of erthe thou schalt falle doun, thou schalt not be gaderid, nethir schalt be gaderid togidere; to the beestis of erthe, and to the volatilis of the eir Y yaf thee to be deuourid.
6 Da sollen dann alle Bewohner Ägyptens erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin. Weil du für das Haus Israel nichts als eine Stütze von Schilfrohr bist -
And alle the dwelleris of Egipt schulen knowe, that Y am the Lord. For that that thou were a staf of rehed to the hous of Israel, whanne thei token thee with hond,
7 wenn sie dich mit der Hand anfassen, knickst du ein und reißest ihnen die ganze Hand auf, und wenn sie sich auf dich stützen, dann brichst du durch und bringst ihre ganzen Hüften zum Wanken! -
and thou were brokun, and to-rentist ech schuldre of hem, and whanne thei restiden on thee, thou were maad lesse, and thou hast discoumfortid alle the reynes of hem;
8 darum spricht der Herr Jahwe also: Fürwahr, ich will das Schwert über dich bringen und Menschen und Vieh aus dir hinwegtilgen.
therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal bringe a swerd on thee, and Y schal sle of thee man and beeste;
9 Und Ägyptenland soll zur Wüste und Öde werden, damit sie erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin. Weil du gesagt hast: “Mein ist der Nil und ich habe ihn gemacht!”
and the lond of Egipt schal be in to desert, and in to wildirnesse, and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord. For that that thou seidist, The flood is myn, and Y made it, therfor lo!
10 Darum, fürwahr, will ich an dich und an deine Ströme und will Ägypten zu Einöden, zur wüsten Einöde machen von Mygdol bis Syene und bis an die Grenze von Kusch.
Y to thee, and to thi floodis. And Y schal yyue `in to wildirnesses the lond of Egipt distried bi swerd, fro the tour of Sienes til to the termes of Ethiopie.
11 Kein menschlicher Fuß soll es durchwandern, auch keines Tieres Fuß soll es durchwandern: unbewohnt soll es bleiben vierzig Jahre lang.
The foot of man schal not passe bi it, nether the foot of beeste schal go in it, and it schal not be enhabitid in fourti yeer.
12 Und ich will Ägypten zu einer Wüste machen inmitten verwüsteter Länder, und seine Städte sollen wüste liegen inmitten verödeter Städte vierzig Jahre lang, und ich werde die Ägypter unter die Völker zerstreuen und in die Länder versprengen.
And Y schal yyue the lond of Egipt forsakun, in the myddis of londis forsakun, and the citees therof in the myddis of a citee distried, and tho schulen be desolat bi fourti yeer. And Y schal scatere Egipcians in to naciouns, and Y schal wyndewe hem in to londis.
13 Denn so spricht der Herr Jahwe: nach Ablauf von vierzig Jahren werde ich die Ägypter wiederum sammeln aus den Völkern, unter die sie zerstreut wurden,
For the Lord God seith these thingis, After the ende of fourti yeer Y schal gadere togidere Egipt fro puplis, among whiche thei weren scaterid;
14 und werde das Geschick Ägyptens wenden und sie in das Land Pathros, das Land ihres Ursprungs, zurückbringen; daselbst werden sie ein geringes Reich bilden.
and Y schal bringe ayen the caitifte of Egipte. And Y schal sette hem in the lond of Phatures, in the lond of her birthe; and thei schulen be there in to a meke rewme,
15 Es wird geringer sein, als die üblichen Reiche und sich fortan nicht mehr über die Völker erheben, und ich mache ihre Zahl gering, daß sie nicht mehr über die Völker herrschen können.
and among othere rewmes it schal be most low, and it schal no more be reisid ouer naciouns. And Y schal make hem lesse, that thei regne not on hethene men;
16 Dann wird für das Haus Israel ein solcher nicht mehr Gegenstand des Vertrauens sein, der ihre Verschuldung in Erinnerung bringt, wenn sie sich ihnen anschließen; und sie werden erkennen, daß ich Jahwe, der Herr, bin.
and thei schulen no more be to the hous of Israel in trist, techinge wickidnesse, that thei fle, and sue hem; and thei schulen knowe, that Y am the Lord God.
17 Im 27. Jahr aber, im ersten Monat, am ersten des Monats, erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:
And it was don in the seuene and twentithe yeer, in the firste monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, the word of the Lord was maad to me,
18 Menschensohn! Nebukadrezar, der König von Babel, hat sein Heer eine schwere Arbeit gegen Tyrus verrichten lassen: jeglicher Kopf ist kahl geworden, und jegliche Schulter ist abgeschunden; aber Lohn ist ihm und seinem Heere von Tyrus nicht zu teil geworden, für die Arbeit, die er gegen es verrichtet hat.
and he seide, Thou, sone of man, Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, made his oost to serue bi greet seruyce ayens Tire; ech heed was maad ballid, and ech schuldir was maad bare of heer, and meede was not yoldun of Tire to hym, nether to his oost, for the seruyce bi which he seruede to me ayens it.
19 Deshalb spricht der Herr Jahwe also: Fürwahr, ich will Nebukadrezar, dem Könige von Babel, das Land Ägypten schenken, damit er seinen Reichtum fortschleppe und es ausraube und ausplündere: das soll seinem Heer als Lohn werden!
Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal yyue Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, in the lond of Egipt, and he schal take the multitude therof; and he schal take in preye the clothis therof, and he schal rauysche the spuylis therof, and meede schal be to his oost,
20 Als seinen Sold, um den es Dienst gethan hat, gebe ich ihnen das Land Ägypten, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.
and to the werk for which he seruyde to me ayens it; and Y yaf the lond of Egipt to hym, for that that he trauelide to me, seith the Lord God.
21 An jenem Tage will ich dem Hause Israel ein Horn sprossen lassen und dir will ich ein freudiges Aufthun des Mundes in ihrer Mitte verleihen, damit sie erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin.
In that dai an horn of the hous of Israel schal come forth, and Y schal yyue to thee an open mouth in the myddis of hem; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
