Hesekiel 14

1 Es kamen aber zu mir Männer von den Vornehmen Israels und ließen sich vor mir nieder.

And he came to me men from [the] elders of Israel and they sat down before me.

2 Da erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.

3 Menschensohn, diese Männer haben ihre Götzen in ihr Herz geschlossen und als Anstoß zu ihrer Verschuldung vor sich hingestellt: sollte ich mich da von ihnen befragen lassen?

O son of humankind the men these they have brought up idols their on heart their and [the] stumbling block of iniquity their they have put before faces their ¿ really will I let myself be consulted by them.

4 Darum rede mit ihnen und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Jedweder vom Hause Israel, der seine Götzen in sein Herz schließt und den Anstoß zu seiner Verschuldung vor sich hinstellt und sich zum Propheten begiebt, dem werde ich, Jahwe, mich selbst zur Antwort herbeilassen bei der Menge seiner Götzen,

Therefore speak with them and you will say to them thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh a person a person from [the] house of Israel who he will bring up idols his to heart his and [the] stumbling block of iniquity his he will put before face his and he will go to the prophet I Yahweh I will let myself give an answer to him (he came *QK) by [the] multitude of idols his.

5 um dem Hause Israel ans Herz zu greifen, weil sie sich mir entfremdet haben durch ihre Götzen insgesamt.

So as to capture [the] house of Israel by heart their who they have become estranged from with me by idols their all of them.

6 Darum sprich zum Hause Israel: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Bekehrt euch und kehrt euch ab von euren Götzen und wendet euer Angesicht ab von allen euren Greueln.

Therefore say - to [the] house of Israel thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh turn back and turn away from with idols your and from with all abominations your turn away faces your.

7 Denn jedweder vom Hause Israel und von den Fremdlingen, die unter Israel weilen, der sich von mir absondert und seine Götzen in sein Herz schließt und den Anstoß zu seiner Verschuldung vor sich hinstellt und sich zum Propheten begiebt, um mich in seiner Angelegenheit zu befragen, dem werde ich, Jahwe, mich selbst zur Antwort herbeilassen.

For a person a person from [the] house of Israel and from the sojourner who he sojourns in Israel so he may separate himself from after me and he will bring up idols his to heart his and [the] stumbling block of iniquity his he will put before face his and he will go to the prophet to consult to him me I Yahweh [will] let myself give an answer to him by myself.

8 Und zwar will ich mein Angesicht gegen einen solchen richten und ihn zu einem Merkzeichen und Sprüchwort machen und ihn aus der Mitte meines Volks vertilgen, damit ihr erkennt, daß ich Jahwe bin.

And I will set face my on the person that and I will make him into a sign and into bywords and I will cut off him from among people my and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.

9 Falls sich aber der Prophet verleiten läßt, einen Ausspruch zu thun, so habe ich, Jahwe, diesen Propheten verleitet und werde meine Hand wider ihn ausrecken und ihn aus der Mitte meines Volkes Israel hinwegtilgen.

And the prophet if he will be deceived and he will speak a word I Yahweh I have deceived the prophet that and I will stretch out hand my on him and I will destroy him from among people my Israel.

10 Und sie werden beide ihre Schuld tragen: der Fragende und der Prophet werden gleich schuldig sein,

And they will bear iniquity their as [the] iniquity of the enquirer as [the] iniquity of the prophet it will be.

11 damit die vom Hause Israel nicht länger von mir abirren und sich nicht länger verunreinigen mit allen ihren Freveln; sondern sie sollen mein Volk sein, und ich will ihr Gott sein, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.

So that not they will wander again [the] house of Israel from after me and not they will make themselves unclean again by all transgressions their and they will become for me a people and I I will become for them God [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

12 Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.

13 Menschensohn, wenn ein Land sich gegen mich versündigt, indem es Treubruch begeht, und ich meine Hand wider dasselbe ausrecke und ihm den Stab des Brots zerbreche und Hungersnot in es sende und Menschen und Vieh aus ihm hinwegtilge,

O son of humankind a land if it will sin to me by acting unfaithfully unfaithfulness and I will stretch out hand my on it and I will break of it staff of bread and I will send on it famine and I will cut off from it humankind and animal[s].

14 und es befänden sich darin diese drei Männer: Noah, Daniel und Hiob, so würden sie doch durch ihre Gerechtigkeit nur sich selbst retten - ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.

And they will be [the] three the men these in [the] midst of it Noah (Daniel *QK) and Job they by righteousness their they will deliver own life their [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

15 Wenn ich wilde Tiere das Land durchstreifen ließe, und diese es entvölkerten, daß es eine Wüstenei würde, die niemand mehr durchwanderte wegen der wilden Tiere,

If animal[s] wild I will cause to pass in the land and it will make childless it and it will be a desolation because not [one who] passes by because of the animal[s].

16 und es befänden sich diese drei Männer darin, - so wahr ich lebe, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe, weder Söhne noch Töchter würden sie retten: nur sie allein würden gerettet werden; das Land aber würde zur Wüste werden.

[the] three The men these [will be] in [the] midst of it [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if sons and if daughters they will deliver they to alone them they will be delivered and the land it will be a desolation.

17 Oder wenn ich das Schwert über jenes Land brächte und spräche: das Schwert soll durch das Land dahinfahren! und tilgte Menschen und Vieh aus ihm hinweg,

Or a sword I will bring on the land that and I will say a sword let it pass in the land and I will cut off from it humankind and animal[s].

18 und es wären diese drei Männer darin, - so wahr ich lebe, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe, sie würden weder Söhne noch Töchter retten, sondern sie allein würden gerettet werden.

And [the] three the men these [will be] in [the] midst of it [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh not they will deliver sons and daughters for they to alone them they will be delivered.

19 Oder wenn ich Pest über jenes Land schickte und meinen Grimm blutig über dasselbe ausgösse, um Menschen und Vieh daraus zu vertilgen,

Or pestilence I will send against the land that and I will pour out rage my on it by blood to cut off from it humankind and animal[s].

20 und Noah, Daniel und Hiob befänden sich darin, - so wahr ich lebe, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe, sie würden weder Sohn noch Tochter retten, nur sich selbst würden sie durch ihre Gerechtigkeit erretten.

And Noah (Daniel *QK) and Job [will be] in [the] midst of it [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if a son if a daughter they will deliver they by righteousness their they will deliver own life their.

21 Doch so spricht der Herr Jahwe: Wenn ich aber meine vier schlimmen Strafen: Schwert, Hunger, wilde Tiere und Pest gegen Jerusalem entsende, um Menschen und Vieh daraus zu vertilgen,

For thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh indeed? if [the] four judgments my - harmful sword and famine and animal[s] wild and pestilence I will send against Jerusalem to cut off from it humankind and animal[s].

22 so soll alsdann eine gerettete Schar darin übrig bleiben, solche, die Söhne und Töchter herausbringen. Die werden dann zu euch herauskommen, und ihr werdet ihren Wandel und ihr Thun sehen und werdet getröstet werden wegen des Unheils, das ich über Jerusalem gebracht habe, wegen alles dessen, was ich über es gebracht habe.

And there! it will be left in it an escaped remnant about to be led out sons and daughters there they [are] about to come out to you and you will see conduct their and practices their and you will be comforted on the calamity which I have brought on Jerusalem all that I have brought on it.

23 Und so werden sie euch trösten, wenn ihr ihren Wandel und ihr Thun seht, und ihr werdet inne werden, daß ich alles, was ich darin gethan, nicht ohne Ursache gethan habe, - ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.

And they will comfort you if you will see conduct their and practices their and you will know that not without cause I have done all that I have done in it [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
