2 Chronik 36
1 Die Landbevölkerung aber nahm Jehoahas, den Sohn Josias, und machte ihn an seines Vaters Statt in Jerusalem zum König.
And they took [the] people of the land Jehoahaz [the] son of Josiah and they made king him in place of father his in Jerusalem.
2 Dreiundzwanzig Jahre war Jehoahas alt, als er König ward, und drei Monate regierte er zu Jerusalem.
[was] a son of Three and twenty year[s] Jehoahaz when became king he and three months he reigned in Jerusalem.
3 Der König von Ägypten aber setzte ihn ab, so daß er nicht König blieb zu Jerusalem, und legte dem Land eine Geldbuße von hundert Talenten Silbers und einem Talente Goldes auf.
And he removed him [the] king of Egypt in Jerusalem and he imposed a fine on the land one hundred talent[s] of silver and a talent of gold.
4 Und der König von Ägypten machte seinen Bruder Eljakim zum König über Juda und Jerusalem und wandelte seinen Namen um in Jojakim. Seinen Bruder Jehoahas aber nahm Necho mit sich und führte ihn nach Ägypten.
And he made king [the] king of Egypt Eliakim brother his over Judah and Jerusalem and he changed name his Jehoiakim and Jehoahaz brother his he took Necho and he brought him Egypt towards.
5 Fünfundzwanzig Jahre war Jojakim alt, als er König ward, und elf Jahre regierte er zu Jerusalem. Und er that, was Jahwe, seinem Gotte, mißfiel.
[was] a son of Twenty and five year[s] Jehoiakim when became king he and one plus ten year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh God his.
6 Gegen ihn zog Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel, heran und legte ihn in Ketten, um ihn nach Babel zu bringen.
On him he came up Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and he bound him with bronze fetters to take him Babylon towards.
7 Auch einen Teil der Geräte des Tempels Jahwes brachte Nebukadnezar nach Babel und that sie in seinen Palast zu Babel.
And some of [the] articles of [the] house of Yahweh he brought Nebuchadnezzar to Babylon and he put them in palace his in Babylon.
8 Die übrige Geschichte Jojakims aber und seine Greuel, die er anfertigen ließ, und was sonst Böses an ihm erfunden ward, finden sich aufgezeichnet im Buche der Könige von Israel und Juda. Und sein Sohn Jojachin ward König an seiner Statt.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoiakim and abominations his which he did and [what] was found on him there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Israel and Judah and he became king Jehoiachin son his in place of him.
9 Acht Jahre war Jojachin alt, als er König ward, und drei Monate und zehn Tage regierte er zu Jerusalem. Und er that, was Jahwe mißfiel.
[was] a son of Eight years Jehoiachin when became king he and three months and ten days he reigned in Jerusalem and he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
10 Im folgenden Jahr aber ließ ihn der König Nebukadnezar nach Babel bringen, samt den kostbaren Geräten des Tempels Jahwes, und machte seinen Bruder Zedekia zum König über Juda und Jerusalem.
And to [the] return of the year he sent the king Nebuchadnezzar and he brought him Babylon towards with [the] articles of preciousness of [the] house of Yahweh and he made king Zedekiah relative his over Judah and Jerusalem.
11 Einundzwanzig Jahre war Zedekia alt, als er König ward, und elf Jahre regierte er zu Jerusalem.
[was] a son of Twenty and one year[s] Zedekiah when became king he and one plus ten year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem.
12 Und er that, was Jahwe, seinem Gotte, mißfiel; er demütigte sich nicht vor dem Worte des Propheten Jeremia, das aus dem Munde Jahwes kam.
And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh God his not he humbled himself from to before Jeremiah the prophet from [the] mouth of Yahweh.
13 Auch vom König Nebukadnezar ward er abtrünnig, der ihn doch bei Gott hatte Gehorsam schwören lassen. Aber er zeigte sich halsstarrig und verstockte sein Herz, so daß er sich nicht zu Jahwe, dem Gott Israels, bekehrte.
And also against the king Nebuchadnezzar he rebelled who he had made swear an oath him by God and he made stiff neck his and he made hard heart his from turning back to Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
14 Ebenso begingen sämtliche Oberste der Priester und das Volk viel Untreue in Nachahmung der Greuel der Heiden und verunreinigten den Tempel Jahwes, den er in Jerusalem geheiligt hatte.
Also all [the] leaders of the priests and the people they increased (to act unfaithfully *QK) unfaithfulness according to all [the] abominations of the nations and they made unclean [the] house of Yahweh which he had consecrated in Jerusalem.
15 Und Jahwe, der Gott ihrer Väter, sandte unermüdlich immer wieder Mahnungen an sie durch seine Boten; denn er hatte Mitleid mit seinem Volk und seinem Wohnsitz.
And he sent Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their to them by [the] hand of messengers his rising early and sending for he had compassion on people his and on dwelling place his.
16 Aber sie verhöhnten nur die Boten Gottes, verachteten seine Worte und trieben ihren Spott mit seinen Propheten, bis der Grimm Jahwes zu einem Grade stieg, daß keine Rettung mehr möglich war.
And they were deriding [the] messengers of God and despising words his and mocking at prophets his until came up [the] anger of Yahweh on people his until there not [was] healing.
17 Er ließ den König der Chaldäer wider sie anrücken und tötete ihre junge Mannschaft in ihrem Heiligtume mit dem Schwert; er verschonte weder Jüngling noch Jungfrau, noch Greis und Grauhaarige, - alles gab er in seine Gewalt.
And he brought up on them [the] king of ([the] Chaldeans *Qk) and he killed young men their with the sword in [the] house of sanctuary their and not he had compassion on young man and young woman [the] old and [the] decrepit everyone he gave in hand his.
18 Auch alle Geräte des Tempels Gottes, groß und klein, samt den Schätzen des Tempels Jahwes und den Schätzen des Königs und seiner obersten Beamten - alles brachte er nach Babel.
And all [the] articles of [the] house of God great and small and [the] treasures of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of the king and officials his everything he brought Babylon.
19 Sie verbrannten den Tempel Gottes, rissen die Mauer Jerusalems nieder und äscherten alle seine Paläste ein, so daß alle die kostbaren Geräte darin zu Grunde gingen.
And they burned [the] house of God and they pulled down [the] wall of Jerusalem and all palaces its they burned with fire and all [the] articles of preciousness its to destroy.
20 Und was dem Schwert entronnen war, führte er nach Babel in die Gefangenschaft, und sie wurden ihm und seinen Söhnen unterthan, bis das persische Reich zur Herrschaft kam,
And he took into exile the remainder from the sword to Babylon and they became for him and for sons his slaves until reigned [the] kingdom of Persia.
21 damit das Wort Jahwes, das er durch den Mund Jeremias geredet, in Erfüllung ginge, “bis das Land seine Ruhezeiten ersetzt bekommen hatte; die ganze Zeit hindurch, in der es wüste lag, hatte es Ruhe”, bis siebzig Jahre voll waren.
To fulfill [the] word of Yahweh by [the] mouth of Jeremiah until it has accepted the land sabbaths its all [the] days of the desolation of it it rested to complete seventy year[s].
22 Und im ersten Jahre des Cyrus, des Königs von Persien, - damit das durch den Mund Jeremias ergangene Wort Jahwes in Erfüllung ginge, gab Jahwe dem Cyrus, dem Könige von Persien, ein, daß er in seinem ganzen Königreich und zwar auch schriftlich, folgenden Befehl ergehen ließ:
And in year one of Cyrus [the] king of Persia to fulfill [the] word of Yahweh by [the] mouth of Jeremiah he stirred up Yahweh [the] spirit of Cyrus [the] king of Persia and he caused to pass a proclamation in all kingdom his and also in writing saying.
23 So spricht Cyrus, der König von Persien: Alle Königreiche auf Erden hat mir Jahwe, der Gott des Himmels, übergeben und er hat mir befohlen, ihm zu Jerusalem in Juda einen Tempel zu erbauen. Wer irgend unter euch zu seinem Volke gehört, mit dem sei sein Gott, und er ziehe hinauf.
Thus he says Cyrus - [the] king of Persia all [the] kingdoms of the earth he has given to me Yahweh [the] God of the heavens and he he has appointed me to build for him a house in Jerusalem which [is] in Judah who? [is] among you from all people his Yahweh God his [be] with him and let him go up.
