1 Koenige 9

1 Als nun Salomo den Bau des Tempels Jahwes und des königlichen Palastes und jeglichen Plan Salomos, nach dessen Ausführung er Verlangen getragen, zu Ende geführt hatte,

And it was when had finished Solomon to build [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and all [the] desire of Solomon which he delighted to do.

2 da erschien Jahwe dem Salomo zum anderen Male, wie er ihm zu Gibeon erschienen war.

And he appeared Yahweh to Solomon a second [time] just as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.

3 Und Jahwe sprach zu ihm: Ich habe dein Gebet und dein Flehen gehört, das du vor mich gebracht hast. Ich habe diesen Tempel, den du erbaut hast, zu einem Heiligtume gemacht, indem ich meinen Namen für immer daselbst wohnen lasse, und meine Augen und mein Herz sollen immerdar daselbst weilen.

And he said Yahweh to him I have heard prayer your and supplication your which you have sought favor before me I have consecrated the house this which you have built by putting name my there until perpetuity and they will be eyes my and heart my there all the days.

4 Wenn du nun vor mir wandeln wirst, wie dein Vater David gewandelt hat, in Herzenseinfalt und in Aufrichtigkeit, daß du thust, ganz wie ich dir geboten habe, und meine Satzungen und Rechte beobachtest:

And you if you will walk before me just as he walked David father your in integrity of heart and in uprightness by doing according to all that I have commanded you statutes my and judgments my you will keep.

5 So will ich den Thron deines Königtums über Israel für immer bestätigen, wie ich deinem Vater David verheißen habe, indem ich sprach: Es soll dir nie fehlen an einem Nachkommen auf dem Thron Israels.

And I will establish [the] throne of kingdom your over Israel for ever just as I spoke on David father your saying not it will be cut off to you a man from on [the] throne of Israel.

6 Werdet ihr euch aber doch von mir abwenden, ihr und eure Kinder, und meine Gebote und Satzungen, die ich euch vorgelegt habe, nicht beobachten, sondern hingehen und andere Götter verehren und euch vor ihnen niederwerfen:

Certainly [if] you will turn back! you and descendants your from after me and not you will keep commandments my statutes my which I have set before you and you will walk and you will serve gods other and you will bow down to them.

7 so werde ich Israel wegtilgen von dem Boden, den ich ihnen verliehen habe, und werde den Tempel, den ich meinem Namen geheiligt habe, verworfen sein lassen vor meinem Angesicht, und Israel soll ein Gegenstand des Spottes und Hohnes werden unter allen Völkern.

And I will cut off Israel from on [the] surface of the ground which I have given to them and the house which I have consecrated for name my I will cast out from on face my and it will become Israel a byword and a taunt among all the peoples.

8 Und dieser Tempel, der erhaben war, soll zu Trümmern werden; jeder, der an ihm vorübergeht, wird sich entsetzen und zischen, und wenn man dann fragen wird: Warum hat Jahwe diesem Land und diesem Tempel Solches angethan?

And the house this it will be most high every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he will hiss and people will say concerning what? did he do Yahweh thus to the land this and to the house this.

9 So wird man antworten: Darum, daß sie Jahwe, ihren Gott, der ihre Väter aus Ägypten herausführte, verlassen und sich zu anderen Göttern gehalten haben und haben sich vor ihnen niedergeworfen und ihnen gedient, - darum hat Jahwe all' dieses Unglück über sie gebracht!

And they will say on that they forsook Yahweh God their who he brought out ancestors their from [the] land of Egypt and they took hold on gods other (and they bowed down *QK) to them and they served them there-fore he has brought Yahweh on them all the calamity this.

10 Nach Ablauf der zwanzig Jahre aber, in welchen Salomo die beiden Gebäude, den Tempel Jahwes und den königlichen Palast, errichtet hatte,

And it was from [the] end of twenty year[s] which he had built Solomon [the] two the houses [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king.

11 - Hiram nämlich, der König von Tyrus, hatte Salomo unterstützt mit Cedern- und Cypressenbalken, sowie mit Gold, soviel er begehrte, - damals trat der König Salomo dem Hiram zwanzig Städte in der Landschaft Galiläa ab.

Hiram [the] king of Tyre he had supported Solomon with wood of cedar and with wood of cypresses and with gold to all desire his then he gave the king Solomon to Hiram twenty citi[es] in [the] land of Galilee.

12 Und Hiram zog aus von Tyrus, um die Städte zu besehen, die ihm Salomo abgetreten hatte, aber sie gefielen ihm nicht.

And he came out Hiram from Tyre to see the cities which he had given to him Solomon and not they were pleasing in eyes his.

13 Da sprach er: Was sind das für Städte, die du mir da abgetreten hast, mein Bruder! Daher nennt man sie die Landschaft Kabul bis auf den heutigen Tag.

And he said what? [are] the cities these which you have given to me O brother my and someone called them [the] land of Cabul until the day this.

14 Hiram aber sandte dem König hundert und zwanzig Talente Goldes.

And he had sent Hiram to the king one hundred and twenty talent[s] of gold.

15 Und also verhielt sich's mit der Fron, die der König Salomo aushob, um den Tempel Jahwes und seinen Palast, das Millo und die Mauer Jerusalems, sowie die Befestigungen von Hazor, Megiddo und Geser zu erbauen.

And this [is] [the] word of the forced labor which he raised - the king Solomon to build [the] house of Yahweh and own house his and the Millo and [the] wall of Jerusalem and Hazor and Megiddo and Gezer.

16 Der Pharao nämlich, der König von Ägypten, war herangezogen, hatte Geser erobert und eingeäschert und die Kanaaniter niedergemetzelt, die die Stadt bewohnten, und hatte dieselbe seiner Tochter, der Gemahlin Salomos, zur Mitgift gegeben.

Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt he had gone up and he had captured Gezer and he had burned it with fire and the Canaanite[s] who was dwelling in the city he had killed and he had given it dowri to daughter his [the] wife of Solomon.

17 Also befestigte Salomo Geser und das untere Beth-Horon

And he rebuilt Solomon Gezer and Beth Horon lower.

18 und Baalath und Thamar in der Steppe im Lande

And Baalath and (Tadmor *QK) in the wilderness in the land.

19 und alle Vorratsstädte, die Salomo gehörten, und die Wagenstädte und die Städte für die Reiter und was immer Salomo zu Jerusalem, auf dem Libanon und im ganzen Bereiche seiner Herrschaft zu erbauen wünschte.

And all [the] cities of storage which they belonged to Solomon and [the] cities of the chariotry and [the] cities of the horsemen and - [the] desire of Solomon which he desired to build in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all [the] land of dominion his.

20 Alles nun, was noch übrig war, von den Amoritern, Hethitern, Pheresitern, Hevitern und Jebusitern, die nicht zu den Israeliten gehörten,

All the people which remained of the Amorite[s] the Hittite[s] the Perizzite[s] the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s] who not [were] of [the] people of Israel they.

21 - die Nachkommen von ihnen, die noch übrig waren im Lande, an denen die Israeliten den Bann nicht hatten vollstrecken können, - die hob Salomo zum Frondienst aus, und so fronen sie bis auf den heutigen Tag.

Descendants their who they were left after them in the land whom not they were able [the] people of Israel to totally destroy them and he raised them Solomon to forced labor of laboring until the day this.

22 Von den Israeliten aber machte Salomo niemand zum Leibeigenen, sondern sie waren die Kriegsleute und seine Beamten, seine Obersten und Wagenkämpfer, die Befehlshaber über seine Wagen und Reiter.

And any of [the] people of Israel not he made Solomon a slave for they [were] [the] men of war and servants his and officials his and officers his and [the] commanders of chariotry his and horsemen his.

23 Dies waren die obersten Beamten der Vögte, die über das Werk Salomos gesetzt waren: 550, welche über die Leute, die bei dem Werke beschäftigt waren, die Aufsicht führten.

These - [were] [the] leaders of the overseers who [were] over the work of Solomon fifty and five hundred who ruled over the people who were doing the work.

24 Kaum aber war die Tochter des Pharao aus der Stadt Davids heraufgezogen in ihr eigenes Haus, das er für sie erbaut hatte, da baute er das Millo.

Only [the] daughter of Pharaoh she went up from [the] city of David to own house her which he had built for her then he built the Millo.

25 Und Salomo opferte dreimal im Jahre Brandopfer und Heilsopfer auf dem Altare, den er Jahwe erbaut hatte, und räucherte mit ihm, was vor Jahwe war, und vollendete das Haus.

And he offered up Solomon three times in the year burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar which he had built for Yahweh and he made smoke with it which [was] before Yahweh and he completed the house.

26 Auch Schiffe erbaute der König Salomo zu Ezeon-Geber, das bei Eloth am Ufer des Schilfmeers im Lande Edom liegt.

And ship[s] he made the king Solomon at Ezion Geber which [is] with Elath on [the] shore of [the] sea of reed[s] in [the] land of Edom.

27 Und Hiram sandte auf der Flotte Unterthanen von sich - Schiffsleute, die mit dem Meere vertraut waren, - zusammen mit den Unterthanen Salomos.

And he sent Hiram in the ship[s] servants his men of ships [who] knew the sea with [the] servants of Solomon.

28 Und sie gelangten nach Ophir und holten von dort Gold - 420 Talente - und brachten es zum Könige Salomo.

And they went Ophir towards and they took from there gold four hundred and twenty talent[s] and they brought [it] to the king Solomon.
