1 An seinem eigenen Palast aber baute Salomo dreizehn Jahre und vollendete also sein ganzes Haus.
And his own house hath Solomon built thirteen years, and he finisheth all his house.
2 Nämlich er erbaute das Libanonwald-Haus, hundert Ellen lang, fünfzig Ellen breit und dreißig Ellen hoch, auf vier Reihen von Cedernsäulen, und Cedernbalken lagen auf den Säulen.
And he buildeth the house of the forest of Lebanon; a hundred cubits [is] its length, and fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height, on four rows of cedar pillars, and cedar-beams on the pillars;
3 Und es war gedeckt mit Cedernholz oberhalb der von den Säulen getragenen Gemächer, fünfundvierzig an der Zahl, je fünfzehn in einer Reihe.
and [it is] covered with cedar above, on the sides that [are] on the forty and five pillars, fifteen in the row.
4 Und das Balkenwerk lag in drei Reihen, und Lichtöffnungen lagen einander gegenüber dreimal.
And windows [are] in three rows, and sight [is] over-against sight three times.
5 Und alle Thüren und Lichtöffnungen waren viereckig, aus Gebälk, und die Thüren lagen einander gegenüber dreimal.
And all the openings and the side-posts [are] square — windows; and sight [is] over-against sight three times.
6 Und die Säulenhalle errichtete er, fünfzig Ellen lang und dreißig Ellen breit, samt einer Galle davor, mit Säulen und einem Auftritt davor.
And the porch of the pillars he hath made; fifty cubits its length, and thirty cubits its breadth, and the porch [is] before them, and pillars and a thick place [are] before them.
7 Und die Thronhalle, in der er Recht sprach, die Gerichtshalle, errichtete er, und sie war mit Cedern getäfelt vom Fußboden an bis zu den Balken der Decke.
And the porch of the throne where he judgeth — the porch of judgment — he hath made, and [it is] covered with cedar from the floor unto the floor.
8 Und sein Haus, in welchem er wohnte, im anderen Hofe, einwärts von der Halle, war in gleicher Weise errichtet. Auch für die Tochter des Pharao, die Salomo zum Weibe genommen hatte, errichtete er ein Haus gleich dieser Halle.
As to his house where he dwelleth, the other court [is] within the porch — as this work it hath been; and a house he maketh for the daughter of Pharaoh — whom Solomon hath taken — like this porch.
9 Alle diese Bauten waren errichtet aus kostbaren Steinen, die nach bestimmten Maßen gehauen und nach innen und außen mit der Säge geschnitten waren, und zwar vom Grund an bis zu den Kragsteinen und vom inneren bis zum großen Vorhof.
All these [are] of precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, sawn with a saw, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and at the outside, unto the great court.
10 Und zur Grundlage dienten kostbare Steine, große Steine, Steine von zehn Ellen und Steine von acht Ellen.
And the foundation [is] of precious stone, great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits;
11 Und darüber waren verwendet kostbare Steine, nach bestimmten Maßen gehauen, und Cedernholz.
and above [are] precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, and cedar;
12 Und der große Vorhof hatte ringsum drei Lagen von Quadern und eine Lage von Cedernbalken, wie auch der innere Vorhof des Tempels Jahwes und der Vorhof der Säulenhalle des Palastes.
and the great court round about [is] three rows of hewn work, and a row of cedar-beams, even for the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and for the porch of the house.
13 Und der König Salomo sandte hin und ließ Hiram von Tyrus holen.
And king Solomon sendeth and taketh Hiram out of Tyre —
14 Dieser war der Sohn einer Witwe aus dem Stamme Naphtali, sein Vater aber ein Tyrier, ein Erzschmied; und er war voll Kunstsinn, Verstand und Einsicht, allerlei Arbeit in Erz auszuführen. Er kam zum Könige Salomo und führte alle Arbeiten für ihn aus.
he [is] son of a woman, a widow, of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father a man of Tyre, a worker in brass, and he is filled with the wisdom and the understanding, and the knowledge to do all work in brass — and he cometh unto king Solomon, and doth all his work.
15 Er goß die beiden Säulen für die Vorhalle des Tempels aus Erz. Achtzehn Ellen betrug die Höhe der einen Säule, und ein Faden von zwölf Ellen konnte sie umspannen; vier Finger war die Säule dick, inwendig hohl. Und ebenso fertigte er die zweite Säule.
And he formeth the two pillars of brass; eighteen cubits [is] the height of the one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits doth compass the second pillar.
16 Und er fertigte zwei Knäufe, von Erz gegossen, um sie oben auf die Säulen zu setzen; fünf Ellen betrug die Höhe des einen Knaufs und fünf Ellen die Höhe des anderen Knaufs.
And two chapiters he hath made to put on the tops of the pillars, cast in brass; five cubits the height of the one chapiter, and five cubits the height of the second chapiter.
17 Und er fertigte zwei Gitter, Flechtwerk, kettenartige Schnüre, zur Bedeckung der Knäufe, welche oben auf den Säulen waren; ein Gitter für den einen Knauf und ein Gitter für den anderen Knauf.
Nets of net-work, wreaths of chain-work [are] for the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars, seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the second chapiter.
18 Und er fertigte die Granatäpfel und zwar zwei Reihen von Granatäpfeln aus Erz auf das eine Gitter, und der Granatäpfel waren zweihundert in Reihen rings um den einen Knauf; und ebenso verfertigte er sie für den anderen Knauf.
And he maketh the pillars, and two rows round about on the one net-work, to cover the chapiters that [are] on the top, with the pomegranates, and so he hath made for the second chapiter.
19 Und die Knäufe, die sich oben auf den Säulen befanden, waren lilienförmig, in der Vorhalle, vier Ellen.
And the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars [are] of lily-work in the porch, four cubits;
20 Und Knäufe waren auf den beiden Säulen auch oberhalb nahe bei der Ausbauchung, die nach der Seite des Gitters ging.
and the chapiters on the two pillars also above, over-against the protuberance that [is] beside the net; and the pomegranates [are] two hundred, in rows round about on the second chapiter.
21 Und er richtete die Säulen auf bei der Vorhalle des Tempels; er richtete die Säule zur Rechten auf und nannte sie Jachin, und er richtete die Säule zur Linken auf und nannte sie Boas.
And he raiseth up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raiseth up the right pillar, and calleth its name Jachin, and he raiseth up the left pillar, and calleth its name Boaz;
22 Und oben auf den Säulen war's wie Lilien gestaltet. Also ward das Werk der Säulen vollendet.
and on the top of the pillars [is] lily-work; and the work of the pillars [is] completed.
23 Und er fertigte das Meer, aus Erz gegossen, von einem Rande bis zum andern zehn Ellen weit, ringsum rund und fünf Ellen hoch, und eine Schnur von dreißig Ellen umspannte dasselbe ringsum.
And he maketh the molten sea, ten by the cubit from its edge unto its edge; [it is] round all about, and five by the cubit [is] its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it round about;
24 Unterhalb seines Randes aber umgaben es ringsum zehn Ellen Coloquinten, die rings um das Meer herumliefen, zwei Reihen Coloquinten, die gleich bei seinem Gusse mitgegossen waren.
and knops beneath its brim round about are compassing it, ten by the cubit, going round the sea round about; in two rows [are] the knops, cast in its being cast.
25 Es stand auf zwölf Rindern; drei waren gegen Norden gewandt, drei gegen Westen, drei gegen Süden und drei gegen Osten. das Meer aber ruhte oben auf ihnen, und alle ihre Hinterteile waren nach innen gewendet.
It is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea [is] upon them above, and all their hinder parts [are] inward.
26 Und seine Dicke betrug eine Handbreite, und sein Rand war wie der Rand eines Bechers gestaltet, nach Art einer Lilienblüte; zweitausend Bath faßte es.
And its thickness [is] an handbreadth, and its edge as the work of the edge of a cup, flowers of lilies; two thousand baths it containeth.
27 Er fertigte auch die Gestühle, zehn an der Zahl, aus Erz; jedes solche Gestühl war vier Ellen lang, vier Ellen breit und drei Ellen hoch.
And he maketh the ten bases of brass; four by the cubit [is] the length of the one base, and four by the cubit its breadth, and three by the cubit its height.
28 Es war aber das Gestühl folgendermaßen gearbeitet: sie hatten Leisten und zwar Leisten zwischen den Sprossen.
And this [is] the work of the base: they have borders, and the borders [are] between the joinings;
29 Auf den Leisten aber, die zwischen den Sprossen liefen, befanden sich Löwen, Rinder und Kerube, und ebenso auf den Sprossen. Sowohl oberhalb als unterhalb der Löwen und Rinder befanden sich Blumengewinde, Gehänge.
and on the borders that [are] between the joinings [are] lions, oxen, and cherubs, and on the joinings a base above, and beneath the lions and the oxen [are] additions — sloping work.
30 Und jedes Gestühl hatte vier eherne Räder und eherne Achsen. Und seine vier Ecken hatten Schulterstücke. Unterhalb des Beckens waren die Schulterstücke angegossen; gegenüber einem jeden waren Gewinde.
And four wheels of brass [are] to the one base, and axles of brass; and its four corners have shoulders — under the laver [are] the molten shoulders, beside each addition.
31 Seine Öffnung aber befand sich innerhalb des Aufsatzes, und aufwärts maß dieser eine Elle. Seine Öffnung aber war rund, wie eine Art von Gestell, anderthalb Ellen im Durchmesser, und auch auf ihm war Bildwerk eingegraben; seine Leisten aber waren viereckig, nicht rund.
And its mouth within the chapiter and above [is] by the cubit, and its mouth [is] round, the work of the base, a cubit and half a cubit; and also on its mouth [are] carvings and their borders, square, not round.
32 Und die vier Räder befanden sich unterhalb der Leisten, und die Halter der Räder waren am Gestühle befestigt. Jedes Rad aber war anderthalb Ellen hoch.
And the four wheels [are] under the borders, and the spokes of the wheels [are] in the base, and the height of the one wheel [is] a cubit and half a cubit.
33 Und die Räder warern gearbeitet wie Wagenräder. Ihre Halter, sowie ihre Felgen, Speichen und Naben - alles war Gußwerk.
And the work of the wheels [is] as the work of the wheel of a chariot, their spokes, and their axles, and their felloes, and their naves; the whole [is] molten.
34 Und an den vier Ecken eines jeden Gestühls waren vier Schulterstücke; aus einem Guß mit dem Gestühle waren seine Schulterstücke.
And four shoulders [are] unto the four corners of the one base; out of the base [are] its shoulders.
35 Und oben auf dem Gestühle war eine Art von Gestell, eine halbe Elle hoch, ringsum gerundet, und oben auf dem Gestühle war der Aufsatz mit seinen Haltern, die das Becken stützten. Seine Halter und seine Leisten waren aus einem Guß mit ihm.
And in the top of the base [is] the half of a cubit in the height all round about; and on the top of the base its spokes and its borders [are] of the same.
36 Und auf die Flächen grub er Kerube, Löwen und Palmen ein, so viel auf einer jeden Raum war, und Blumengewinde ringsum.
And he openeth on the tablets of its spokes, and on its borders, cherubs, lions, and palm-trees, according to the void space of each, and additions round about.
37 Auf diese Weise fertigte er die zehn Gestühle; sie alle waren von einerlei Guß, einerlei Maß und einerlei Gestalt.
Thus he hath made the ten bases; one casting, one measure, one form, have they all.
38 Sodann fertigte er zehn eherne Becken. Jedes dieser Becken faßte vierzig Bath; jedes Becken hatte vier Ellen im Durchmesser. Ein Becken war auf jedem der zehn Gestühle.
And he maketh ten lavers of brass; forty baths doth the one laver contain, four by the cubit [is] the one laver, one laver on the one base [is] to the ten bases;
39 Und er stellte fünf von den Gestühlen auf der südlichen und fünf auf der nördlichen Seite des Tempels auf; das Meer aber stellte er auf der Südseite des Tempels auf, nach Osten zu, gegenüber dem Süden.
and he putteth the five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house, and the sea he hath put on the right side of the house, eastward — over-against the south.
40 Und Hiram fertigte die Töpfe, Schaufeln und Sprengschalen, und so vollendete Hiram alle Arbeiten, die er dem Könige Salomo für den Tempel Jahwes gefertigt hatte:
And Hiram maketh the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls; and Hiram completeth to do all the work that he made for king Solomon, [for] the house of Jehovah;
41 zwei Säulen und die beiden Kugeln der Knäufe oben auf den Säulen und die beiden Gitter, um die beiden Kugeln der Knäufe oben auf den Säulen zu bedecken,
pillars two, and bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars two, and the nets two, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars;
42 und die 400 Granatäpfel für die beiden Gitter, zwei Reihen Granatäpfel für jedes Gitter;
and the pomegranates four hundred for the two nets, two rows of pomegranates for the one net, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the front of the pillars;
43 ferner die zehn Gestühle und die zehn Becken auf den Gestühlen
and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;
44 und das eine Meer und die zwölf Rinder unter dem Meer,
and the one sea, the twelve oxen under the sea,
45 und die Töpfe, Schaufeln und Sprengschalen; und alle diese Geräte, die Hiram dem Könige Salomo für den Tempel Jahwes gefertigt hatte, waren von poliertem Erz.
and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls; and all these vessels, that Hiram hath made to king Solomon [for] the house of Jehovah, [are] of brass — polished.
46 In der Jordansaue ließ sie der König gießen, in Formen von Thonerde, zwischen Sukkoth und Zarethan.
In the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zarthan.
47 Und Salomo ließ die sämtlichen Geräte ungewogen wegen der überaus großen Anzahl; das Gewicht des Erzes wurde nicht festgestellt.
And Solomon placeth the whole of the vessels; because of the very great abundance, the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.
48 Und Salomo fertigte alle die Geräte, die sich im Tempel Jahwes befanden: Den goldenen Altar und den Tisch, auf dem die Schaubrote lagen, aus Gold,
And Solomon maketh all the vessels that [are] in the house of Jehovah: the altar of gold, and the table — on which [is] the bread of the Presence — of gold,
49 und die Leuchter, fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken vor dem Hinterraum, aus feinem Gold, und die Blüten, Lampen und Lichtscheren, aus Gold,
and the candlesticks, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold,
50 und die Becken, Messer, Sprengschalen, Schüsseln und Pfannen, aus feinem Gold. Auch die Angeln an der Flügelthüre, die zum innersten Raume - zum Allerheiligsten - führte, und an der Flügelthüre des Tempels - zum Hauptraume - waren aus Gold.
and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.
51 Als nun alle die Arbeiten, die der König Salomo für den Tempel Jahwes fertigen ließ, vollendet waren, brachte Salomo die Weihgeschenke seines Vaters David hinein; das Silber und das Gold, und die Geräte legte er in die Schatzkammern des Tempels Jahwes.
And it is complete — all the work that king Solomon hath made [for] the house of Jehovah, and Solomon bringeth in the sanctified things of David his father; the silver, and the gold, and the vessels he hath put in the treasuries of the house of Jehovah.
