1 Chronik 8
1 Und Benjamin erzeugte Bela, seinen Erstgeborenen, Asbel, den zweiten, Ahrah, den dritten,
And Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third;
2 Noha, den vierten, und Rapha den fünften.
Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3 Und Bela hatte folgende Söhne: Addar, Gera, Abihud,
And Bela had sons, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud;
4 Abisua, Naahman, Ahoah,
and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah;
5 Gera, Sephuphan und Huram.
and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Und dies sind die Söhne Ehuds (Diese sind Familienhäupter der Bewohner von Geba, und sie führten sie als Gefangene hinweg nach Manahath;
And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of fathers’ [houses] of the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them captive to Manahath:
7 Naaman, Ahia und Gera, der führte sie hinweg) und er erzeugte Ussa und Ahihud.
and Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera, he carried them captive; and he begat Uzza and Ahihud:
8 Saharaim aber erzeugte im Gefilde der Moabiter, nachdem er sie verstoßen hatte - seine Weiber Husim und Baara -,
And Shaharaim begat children in the field of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.
9 da erzeugte er mit seinem Weibe Hodes: Jobab, Zibja, Mesa, Malkam,
And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcam;
10 Jenz, Sochja und Mirma. Das sind seine Söhne, Familienhäupter.
and Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers’ [houses].
11 Und mit Husim erzeugte er Abitub und Elpaal.
And of Hushim he begat Abitub and Elpaal.
12 Die Söhne Elpaals waren: Eber, Miseam und Semer. Dieser erbaute Ono und Lod samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften.
And the sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod, with the towns thereof:
13 Und Beria und Sema (das sind die Familienhäupter der Bewohner Ajalons; diese verjagten die Bewohner von Gath)
and Beriah, and Shema, who were heads of fathers’ [houses] of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;
14 und sein Bruder Elpaal und Sasak und Jeremoth.
and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth;
15 Und Sebadja, Arad, Eder,
and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder;
16 Michael, Jispa und Joha waren die Söhne Berias.
and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah;
17 Und Sebadja, Mesullam, Hiski, Heber,
and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber;
18 Jismerai, Jislia und Jobab waren die Söhne Elpaals.
and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab, the sons of Elpaal;
19 Und Jakim, Sichri, Sabdi,
and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi;
20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,
and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel;
21 Adaja, Beraja und Simrath waren die Söhne Simeis.
and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimei;
22 Und Jispan, Eber, Eliel,
and Ishpan, and Eber, and Eliel;
23 Abdon, Sichri, Hanon,
and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan;
24 Hananja, Elam, Anthothija,
and Hananiah, and Elam, and Anthothijah;
25 Jiphdeja und Penuel waren die Söhne Sasaks.
and Iphdeiah, and Penuel, and sons of Shashak;
26 Und Samserai, Seharja, Athalja,
and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah;
27 Jaaresja, Elia und Sichri waren die Söhne Jerohams.
and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.
28 Diese waren Familienhäupter in ihren Geschlechtern, Oberhäupter; diese wohnten zu Jerusalem.
These were heads of fathers’ [houses] throughout their generations, chief men: these dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 Und zu Gibeon wohnten: der Vater von Gibeon, Jeiel, und sein Weib hieß Maacha.
And in Gibeon there dwelt the father of Gibeon, [Jeiel], whose wife’s name was Maacah:
30 Und sein erstgeborener Sohn war Abdon, und Zur, Kis, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab;
31 Gedor, Ahjo und Secher.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.
32 Mikloth aber erzeugte Simea. Und auch sie wohnten ihren Brüdern gegenüber in Jerusalem bei ihren Brüdern.
And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And they also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against their brethren.
33 Und Ner erzeugte Abner, und Kis erzeugte Saul, und Saul erzeugte Jonathan, Malchisua, Abinadab und Esbaal.
And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34 Und der Sohn Jonathans war Meribaal, und Meribaal erzeugte Micha.
And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begat Micah.
35 Und die Söhne Michas waren Pithon, Melech, Tharea und Ahas.
And the sons of Micah; Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Ahas aber erzeugte Joadda, Joadda erzeugte Alemeth, Asmaweth und Simri. Simri erzeugte Moza,
And Ahaz begat Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza:
37 Moza erzeugte Binea; dessen Sohn war Rapha, dessen Sohn war Eleasa, dessen Sohn war Azel.
And Moza begat Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:
38 Azel aber hatte sechs Söhne; die hießen: Asrikam, Bochru, Ismael, Searja, Obadja und Hanan. Diese alle waren Söhne Azels.
And Azel had six sons, whose names are these; Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39 Und die Söhne seines Bruders Esek waren: Ulam, sein Erstgeborener, Jeus, der zweite, und Eliphelet, der dritte.
And the sons of Eshek his brother; Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Und die Söhne Ulams waren kriegstüchtige Männer, die den Bogen zu spannen wußten, und hatten zahlreiche Söhne und Enkel, 150 an der Zahl. Diese alle gehören zu den Benjaminiten.
And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
