1 Chronik 27

1 Und dies sind die Israeliten nach ihrer Anzahl, die Familienhäupter, die Anführer der Tausendschaften und der Hundertschaften und ihre Amtleute, die dem Könige dienten in allen Angelegenheiten der Abteilungen, die Monat für Monat alle Monate des Jahres hindurch antraten und abzogen, jede Abteilung in der Stärke von 24000 Mann.

Now the sons of Israel according to their number, heads of families, captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and scribes ministering to the king, and for every affair of the king according to [their] divisions, [for] every ordinance of coming in and going out monthly, for all the months of the year, one division of them [was] twenty-four thousand.

2 Die erste Abteilung, im ersten Monate, befehligte Jasobeam, der Sohn Sabdiels, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

And over the first division of the first month [was] Isboaz the son of Zabdiel: in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.

3 Er gehörte zu den Nachkommen Perez' und war das Oberhaupt aller Heerführer im ersten Monat.

Of the sons of Tharez [one] was chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.

4 Die Abteilung des zweiten Monats befehligte Eleasar, der Sohn Dodais, der Ahohiter, und seine Abteilung befehligte Mikloth, der Oberaufseher, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

And over the division of the second month [was] Dodia the son of Ecchoc, and over his division [was] Makelloth also chief: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand, chief men of the host.

5 Der Anführer des dritten Heeres, für den dritten Monat, war Benaja, der Sohn des Priesters Jojada, als Oberhaupt, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The third for the third month [was] Banaias the son of Jodae the chief priest: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

6 Dieser Benaja war der Held unter den dreißig, und die dreißig und seine Abteilung befehligte sein Sohn Ammisabad.

This Banaeas [was] more mighty than the thirty, and over the thirty: and Zabad his son [was] over his division.

7 Der vierte, für den vierten Monat, war Asahel, der Bruder Joabs, und nach ihm sein Sohn Sebadja, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The fourth for the fourth month [was] Asael the brother of Joab, and Zabadias his son, and his brethren: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

8 Der fünfte, für den fünften Monat, war der Oberste Samhuth, der Jisrahiter, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The fifth chief for the fifth month [was] Samaoth the Jezraite: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

9 Der sechste, für den sechsten Monat, war Ira, der Sohn des Ikkes von Thekoa, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The sixth for the sixth month [was] Hoduias the son of Ekkes the Thecoite: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

10 Der siebente, für den siebenten Monat, war Helez, der Peloniter, aus den Ephraimiten, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The seventh for the seventh month [was] Chelles of Phallus of the children of Ephraim: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

11 Der achte, für den achten Monat, war Sibbechai, der Hussathiter, aus den Serahitern, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The eighth for the eighth month [was] Sobochai the Usathite, [belonging] to Zarai: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

12 Der neunte, für den neunten Monat, war Abieser von Anathoth, aus den Benjaminiten, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The ninth for the ninth month [was] Abiezer of Anathoth, of the land of Benjamin: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

13 Der zehnte, für den zehnten Monat, war Maharai von Netopha, aus den Serahitern, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The tenth for the tenth month [was] Meera the Netophathite, [belonging] to Zarai: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

14 Der elfte, für den elften Monat, war Benaja von Pirathon, aus den Ephraimiten, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The eleventh for the eleventh month [was] Banaias of Pharathon, of the sons of Ephraim: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

15 Der zwölfte, für den zwölften Monat, war Heldai von Netopha, aus dem Geschlecht Othniels, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.

The twelfth for the twelfth month [was] Choldia the Netophathite, [belonging] to Gothoniel: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.

16 Und über die Stämme Israels waren gesetzt: von den Rubeniten war Fürst: Elieser, der Sohn Sichris, von den Simeoniten Sephatja, der Sohn Maachas,

And over the tribes of Israel, the chief for Ruben [was] Eliezer the son of Zechri: for Symeon, Saphatias the son of Maacha:

17 von Levi Hasabja, der Sohn Kemuels, von Aaron Zadok,

for Levi, Asabias the son of Camuel: for Aaron, Sadoc:

18 von Juda Elihu, einer der Brüder Davids, von Issachar Omri, der Sohn Michaels,

for Juda, Eliab of the brethren of David: for Issachar, Ambri the son of Michael:

19 von Sebulon Jismaja, der Sohn Obadjas, von Naphthali Jerimoth, der Sohn Asriels,

for Zabulon, Samaeas the son of Abdiu: for Nephthali, Jerimoth the son of Oziel:

20 von den Ephraimiten Hosea, der Sohn Asasjas, vom halben Stamme Manasse Joel, der Sohn Pedajas,

for Ephraim, Ose the son of Ozia: for the half-tribe of Manasse, Joel the son of Phadaea:

21 für den halben Stamm Manasse in Gilead: Iddo, der Sohn Sacharjas, von Benjamin Jaasiel, der Sohn Abners,

for the half-tribe of Manasse in the land of Galaad, Jadai the son of Zadaeas, for the sons of Benjamin, Jasiel the son of Abenner:

22 von Dan Asareel, der Sohn Jerohams. Das sind die Fürsten der Stämme Israels.

for Dan, Azariel the son of Iroab: these [are] the chiefs of the tribes of Israel.

23 Aber die Anzahl derer, die unter zwanzig Jahre alt waren, ließ David nicht aufnehmen; denn Jahwe hatte verheißen, die Israeliten so zahlreich zu machen, wie die Sterne am Himmel.

But David took not their number from twenty years old and under: because the Lord said that he would multiply Israel as the stars of the heaven.

24 Joab, der Sohn Zerujas, hatte mit der Zählung begonnen, war aber nicht damit zu Ende gekommen; denn es erging deshalb ein Gotteszorn über Israel, und die Zahl ward unter die Zahlen in der Geschichte des Königs David nicht aufgenommen.

And Joab the son of Saruia began to number the people, and did not finish the work, for there was hereupon wrath on Israel; and the number was not recorded in the book of the chronicles of king David.

25 Die Vorräte des Königs beaufsichtigte Asmaweth, der Sohn Adiels, und die Vorräte auf dem Felde, in den Städten, Dörfern und Türmen Jonathan, der Sohn Ussias.

And over the king's treasures [was] Asmoth the son of Odiel; and over the treasures in the country, and in the towns, and in the villages, and in the towers, [was] Jonathan the son of Ozia.

26 Die Feldarbeiter, die den Acker besorgten, beaufsichtigte Esri, der Sohn Kelubs,

And over the husbandmen who tilled the ground [was] Esdri the son of Chelub.

27 die Weinberge Simei von Rama; was sich in den Weinbergen an Weinvorräten befand, Sabdi, der Siphmiter;

And over the fields [was] Semei of Rael; and over the treasures of wine in the fields [was] Zabdi the son of Sephni.

28 Die Ölbäume und Maulbeerfeigen, die sich in der Niederung befanden, Baal Hanan von Gader, die Ölvorräte Joas.

And over the olive yards, and over the sycamores in the plain country [was] Ballanan the Gedorite; and over the stores of oil [was] Joas.

29 Die Rinder, die in der Saronebene weideten, beaufsichtigte der Saroniter Sitrai, die Rinder in den Thälern Saphat, der Sohn Adlais,

And over the oxen pasturing in Saron [was] Satrai the Saronite; and over the oxen in the valleys [was] Sophat the son of Adli.

30 die Kamele der Ismaeliter Obil, die Eselinnen der Meronothiter Jehdeja,

And over the camels [was] Abias the Ismaelite; and over the asses [was] Jadias of Merathon.

31 das Kleinvieh der Hagriter Jasis. Diese alle waren Oberbeamte über das Eigentum des Königs David.

And over the sheep [was] Jaziz the Agarite. All these [were] superintendents of the substance of king David.

32 Jonathan aber, der Oheim Davids, ein einsichtiger und schriftkundiger Mann, war Rat; Jehiel, der Sohn Hachmonis, war bei den Söhnen des Königs.

And Jonathan, David's uncle by the father's side, [was] a counsellor, a wise man: and Jeel the son of Achami [was] with the king's sons.

33 Ahitophel war königlicher Rat, und Husai, der Arkiter, war der Freund des Königs.

Achitophel [was] the king's counsellor: and Chusi the chief friend of the king.

34 Nach Ahitophel aber war es Jojada, der Sohn Benajas, und Abjathar. Und Joab war der Feldhauptmann des Königs.

And after this Achitophel Jodae the son of Banaeas [came] next, and Abiathar: and Joab [was] the king's commander-in-chief.
