Mica 3
1 Ich sprach: "Ihr Jakobshäupter, hört, ihr Richter hier im Hause Israel! Ist das nicht eure Pflicht, das Recht zu kennen?
Then said I, Hear, I pray you, ye heads of Jacob, and ye judges of the house of Israel, —Is it not yours to know justice?
2 Ihr seid diejenigen, die das Gute hassen und das Böse lieben und anderen die Haut abziehen, das Fleisch von ihren Knochen.
Ye haters of right, and lovers of wrong, —tearing away their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
3 Ihr seid es, die ihr meines Volkes Fleisch verzehrt und ihm die Haut vom Leibe zieht und seine Knochen so zerhackt und sie zerlegt, wie für den Topf, wie Fleisch im Kessel."
Who indeed have eaten the flesh of my people, and, their skin from off them, have stript, and, their bones, have they broken in pieces, —and will spread them out, as flesh with a fork, and as flesh, in the midst of a pot.
4 Dann schreien sie zum Herrn; er wird sie nicht erhören. Er birgt zu jener Zeit sein Angesicht vor ihnen, weil sie schlimme Taten ausgeübt.
Then, shall they make outcry unto Yahweh, but he will not answer them, —that he may hide his face from them, at that time, even as they have made wicked their doings.
5 So spricht der Herr jetzt über die Propheten, die mein Volk verführen, von seligen Zeiten sprechend, solange sie mit ihren Zähnen noch zu kauen haben, doch dem, der ihnen in den Mund nichts gibt, den Krieg erklären:
Thus, saith Yahweh, concerning the prophets who are leading astray my people, —who bite with their teeth, and then cry—Prosper! and whoso holdeth not to their mouth, they hallow against him a war!
6 "Wahrhaftig, für das Schauen wird euch Nacht und Finsternis, daß ihr nicht prophezeien könnt." Da geht die Sonne den Propheten unter; der Tag wird finster für sie werden.
Therefore, shall it be night to you, for lack of vision, and darkness to you, for lack of divination, —and the sun, shall go in, over the prophets, and the day, shall be overcast because of them;
7 Voll Scham die Seher und voll Schande die Wahrsager; sie verhüllen allesamt den Bart; denn keine Gottesantwort gibt es mehr.
And the men of vision, shall turn pale, and the diviners, shall blush, and shall put a covering upon their lip, all of them, —because there is no answer of God.
8 Ich aber bin erfüllt mit Ausdauer wohl durch den Geist des Herrn, mit Rechtsgefühl und Mut und halte Jakob seinen Frevel vor und seine Sünde Israel.
But, in very deed, I, am full of vigour, with the spirit of Yahweh, and of justice and of valour, —to declare to Jacob, his transgression, and to Israel, his sin.
9 "Ihr Häupter in dem Jakobshause, höret dies, ihr Richter im Hause Israel, ihr, denen Recht ein Greuel ist, die alles Richtige verkehren!
Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and ye judges of the house of Israel, —who abhor justice, and, all right, do pervert:
10 Ihr baut mit Blutschuld Sion auf, Jerusalem mit Frevel."
Building Zion, with deeds of blood, —and Jerusalem, with perversity.
11 Ach, seine Häupter, die Recht sprechen um Geschenke! Ach, seine Priester, die gar für Bezahlung lehren! Ach, seine Seher, die um Geld weissagen, sich auf den Herrn verlassen mit den Worten: "Ist nicht der Herr in unserer Mitte? Uns kann kein Unheil treffen."
Her heads, for a bribe, pronounce sentence, and, her priests, for a price, give direction, and, her prophets, for silver, divine, —yet, on Yahweh, they lean, saying, Is not, Yahweh, in our midst? there shall not come upon us, calamity.
12 Deswegen sei um euretwillen gleich einem Felde Sion umgepflügt, ein Trümmerhaufen werd Jerusalem, der Tempelberg zur waldbewachsenen Höhe.
Wherefore, for your sake, Zion, as a field, shall be ploughed, and, Jerusalem, unto heaps of ruins, shall be turned, —and, the mountain of the house, shall [be] like mounds in a jungle.
